Went here for breakfast and had a good time! The food is exceptional and both the times Ive been here, service is slow and the staff arent very friendly. But definitely a go to for good food! Vegans have lots of options too.

To start with: Amazing Staff. The staff were extremely welcoming and understanding even when my 2 year old was throwing up quite a tantrum. The food is not exactly European, it has a slight fusion twist. The ambiance is simple and relaxing. Eggs Benedict is one of the best dishes and a must try. An added benefit is the bread bakery down stairs where you can buy fresh bread including baguettes and a variety of cakes, puddings and spreads.

I visited this resturant recently to indulge in vegan delicacies, I found this place to be strangely peaceful with quiet environment and soothing music in the Background. There was an overwhelming reception from the staff, who were welcoming, amiable and courteous. The vibe was cute here and amazing, specially the mood they had set and the lightings.I noticed live management lessons from the restaurant’s leadership, as I witnessed staff and the supervisors being coached subtly on the floor with etiquettes and ideas. It was a beautiful sight to see staff and their leaders work hand in hand.There’s more to this restaurant and scrumptious vegan food. I’m visiting it again. Also, please check out my photos!

Ambience seem very ok for the location and from outside it looks as if it is luxury dine in.Had bibimbap and I liked it, though Im a frequent traveler to Korea and know how Korean cuisine taste. They can add more kimchi flavor to it and make the rice more sticky.Last my machiatto which I had before my dinner, I should say these guys know what machiatto is and the coffee beans are too good.

Asian omelette and cold coffee were perfect. Pan cakes looked great but tasted pretty average. Loved the ambience and service. Wish they had more options for desserts. Bread lovers will like this place a lot.

Pumpkin tales is one of those restaurants that doesn’t compromise on quality. My visits to this restaurant has always been positive. The ambience is neat and staff are courteous . All precautionary measures are taken - masks, temperature check and sanitising.The pricing is on the higher side but worth the quality. They have interesting versions of usual dishes like pastas, pizzas which is their USP!

To be hit with the smell of freshly baked bread is one of the best welcomes and I’m glad I got to experience that as soon as I stepped in. Pumpkins tales is extremely aesthetic and a very cleverly curated menu that caters more to your Asian cravings but has other cuisines as well. Their sweet potato and corn cakes are a definite hit and I enjoyed the Mexican bowl. The owners even stop by frequently and are extremely amiable, they do have a quick chat with you about the food and the place. They also have a variety of vegan options and they’re equally tasty!

My first time to this much talked about place. I must say was a pleasant experience. What i liked? Everything, from the ambience to the service and the food. They were par excellence!The girls were warm, friendly and well trained. They knew about the food and the ingredients in the dish.The soup was fresh the ingredients used in the dish had flavour and freshness. The bibimbap was excellent and gave us a feeling we were dinning at Korea.Kudos to the team, keep up the good work!

As always its a delight to eat in pumpkin tales. I had more or less exhausted the dishes in their menu and just then got to know a new menu being introduced which is superb too. The food, the presentation, service quality, warmth and speed are commendable from the time they started till now. In the new menu sambal bowl and roast chicken as main options with potato mess and perogi as starters are must try dishes!

I live in Bangalore and Pumpkin Tales is one of my first stops each time I visit Chennai. And it never disappoints. Their no-fuss menu where the focus is clearly on taste, is a complete winner for me. Not that everything doesnt look beautiful. It does, but the way its supposed to look and not with over styling. Ive tried their breads and bagels and most of their non-vegan pastries and everything, EVERYTHING has been top notch. I only wish they would open up in Bangalore also :)

Perfect place for modern, healthy food. Their menu is amazing with lots of vegan and gluten free options. Three different types of plant milkes are provided for coffee, which is amazing. The quality of the food was very good and so was the service. Prices are in the higher range but definitely reasonable for what they provide.

There are only few places in Chennai which has the proper breakfast culture and this is surely one. A wide variety of options for breakfast on the menu. Service is up to standard and the food is good. I only wish that they do like a set breakfast which includes coffee or fresh juices. One of my favourite was the pumpkin spice latte superb flavour to it 🤘🏽the interiors are done well and the ambience is bright and welcoming. Love the music and please keep that going! Car parking not a problem have ample space. Staff are well trained and experienced. Keep up the good work guys!!

The food is carefully consciously prepared to be tasty and healthy. Staff were well trained, service professional and unobtrusive. The flavours in the food are quite distinct and fresh.

Usually a good place, but this time I was a bit disappointed. I went for breakfast where there were really fee customers. Yet the staff service was very apathetic. Food was great, but parts of it were bad. Makes me wonder if they served stale food from previous night.

They definitely need to improve the flavor definition in their sorbets. And a choice can be offered for the way the eggs are made for the shakshouka, not everyone will prefer the eggs to be well done or poached.The Mayan cacao is a must try!

Loved the food, the ambience snd the excellent service. Try the Mexican bowl. It’s awesome. The sweet potato cutlets are to die for and the mango sorbet with coconut crispies are outstanding.

Make great suggestions and always paying attention. Avoid 5he vegan chocolate cake it looks great but is very dry and average tasting.

Food was okayish. The thai noodles with lemon basil had so thai flavour or basil flavour. The dumpling also tasted average. The coffee was good. Service is quick and courteous. They can definitely improve their food. Very nice country cafe style ambience

Went there for breakfast and had a great meal. We had the BELT sandwich, southern baked egg and eggs Benedict with bacon and they were all outstanding. Loved the concept of serving a fruit bowl with the food. We also tried a cup cake. I dont remember the name but it was really good as well. Only the cappuccino was a bit of a let down. With such great food the coffee has to step up. Nice decor and great service as well. Would definitely go again to try their lunch menu.

This place was highly spoken about for their sourdough breads & innovative in house ice creations . The warm all women smiling faces staff was quiet helpful - For sourdough bread for the day was out of stock - They managed to pull some out for us to taste . An effort that should not go unnoticed , A lady on round across tables , was seeking personalized feedback on the place & food . Its a perfect place for Light eaters & undisturbed melancholy .Absolutely , Loved the sorbet - Its basic to ingredients , Yet challenging to get it right . Went here for dinner with my bestie yday night and it was awesome. We split the chicken herbal soup and had two mains, the Umami bowl and Javanese curry bowl. I loved the Umami bowl, which filled with veggies and had an interesting sweet-sour dressing to it. The curry bowl was a little more straight forward, but was tasty. We ended the meal with an absolutely scrumptious carrot cake.Service by the all ladies team was professional yet friendly.Price points, well its definitely above the average, but justifies the quality and portion size!Highly recommend!

Hearty, delicious, wonderful experience!The decor is pretty... Its spacious, welcoming, well-lit, and decorated with cute lights all over.The food was brilliant! I had the pumpkin soup - Id rate it 3/5; it was a little too much coconut-based for my liking.We had the sesame chicken bits and sweet potato corn cakes - both were brilliant!The meatballs & hummus was a standout dish. We had chicken ramen and the ramen bowl. Both great dishes, I just found it a tiny pinch more salty than I liked.We asked to try the sourdough bread thats so highly rated and it lived up to the expectations-just perfect!Overall, great food.The portions are hearty and the staff is very very friendly!

I’m editing my review:on my 3rd visit here, I found a worm floating in my food. No matter how good the food may be, I will never go here again, after witnessing this. When I pointed this out to them, their reaction was also not conciliatory.I love the variety of vegan options in the menu! The Rainbow Bowl was very unique.I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the waiters are not very well trained. They brought my main course along with my soup and dropped my straw on the table, and I didn’t feel like using it after that.I also like the packaging of food for home delivery. They put the soup in paper containers instead of plastic, and I really appreciate it. Wish the straws were made of paper too.

I am a regular at Pumpkin tales. Visited them over 50 times in the last few years. Love the food and the service. Big fan of the Kaya toast and now the Kase Haloumi.

Wanted to try out breakfast meal at pumpkin tales for a long time. But went for lunch. 15+ cars can park in their parking lot, ambiance, jukebox music, waiter service were top notch. The seating area was huge and immaculate. Food cost to quantity ratio was good. Fried rice was the highlight, more veggies and less rice. Lot vegan options, ask the waiter, overall bill was lesser than expected. Personalized service by talking to the visitors asking for feedback and they giving recommendation was a unique experience. Good Singaporean / Malay continental cuisine, much different from the South Indian cuisine but very alike in spice. Though priced on the high side they make it up with excellent service. Will go again to taste the much talked about Kanji.

Went here with friends for lunch. Its a nice place to hangout.The Hot Chocolate Mayan Coco is a must try, just loved it. Will go there again just for that.One suggestion:Would be nice they they played some good music.

I would give a 5 star rating because the food is delicious and servers are very kind. In terms of price , some of the items are expensive like a cup of juice is 250 rupees and a bowl of salad 275. We had noodles and veg balls with bread hummus which were delicious and worth the price. I strongly this restaurant for people who want to try real Chinese food. The noodles are the best

Our experience at Pumpkin tales was quite decent. There is a bakery at the ground floor, dining in the first and a banquet hall on the second floor. There is ample space for two wheeler and four wheeler parking. The place has a relaxed atmosphere. Good place to spend time with family and friends. The food is quite decent. We had the laksa, shakshouka and the bibimbap. My personal favourite was the shakshouka. The bibimbap was not pleasant - it was very bland. The service is very good. Overall it was a decent experience.

Pumpkin Tales is the first thing that comes to my mind if I want to go somewhere for breakfast. Not that their lunch or dinner isnt as good, but its just that most of the fine dining restaurants within the city isnt open for breakfast. My wife loves their Asian Omlette & I really liked their Burmese Mohinga. Friendly staff. Highly recommended, especially their breakfast!

Must visit this place! The menu js refreshingly different. Multi cuisine with a spread of Asian and Continental entrees. The pizzas were authentic. And so was the laksa. We ordered around 7-8 dishes with a mix of starters and entrees and finished them all.If you are looking for a change from delicacies from the South, this restaurant with its themed menu will give you that experience. And I am looking forward for a repeat visit. Chennai rocks!

Knew that this place existed for the longest time and just did not visit it sooner, my loss. This place is has great decor, and is quite large. The staff is professional. As for the food, its amazing, the banh mi is just super tasty. Had the classic cold coffee, and I did immensely enjoy a fresh pressed cold coffee, instead of the instant one others normally make. They have a bakery also, with a really good chocolate cake. I will definitely go there again to try the other items.

We went there at 10:45 and started with breakfast and finished with lunch 😀. For breakfast we ordered meat omelette and pancakes. The omelette was good with chunks of meat and came with a fruits bowl. The pancake came with butter and maple syrup though the menu said it was accompanied with fresh cream. Then we ordered sea food soup, some fish fry(dont remember the name) and butter garlic prawns. The soup was rich, creamy and had prawns, fish and squid, it was good. The fish was juicy with the spices having marinated deeply into the fish, the lemon creamy sauce went well with the fish. The prawns was okish, as it was tasing bit bland. We ended with cream brulee with glazed caramel topping, it was very good. The service was good until mid meal, after which we had to call them voluntarily for water, menu, order, bill, etc - which was a not so great experience. We also had 2 mocktails - funky munky and roated pinacolado, the funky monky had flavours of chocolate and peanut butter. The pinacolado was less sweeter and had the burnt pineapple flavor, didnt like it. We burnt 3600 on the whole. Will I go back to the restaurant - yes, only if they fix the service part.

We came here on the recommendation from a few friends... And we were not disappointed. If you come here between 4 and 6pm the choice is limited to very few things to eat but lots of smoothies and drinks.... And none of the dishes had pumpkin in them 🤔🤔🤔 Then the stewardess Shilpa pointed to a PELT Sandwich... (Pumpkin, Egg, Lettuce, Tomato)... It was very good. The cocoa smoothie was ok... Not sweet though. The decor is minimalist but colourful. The staff is very well trained.

The Bacon is supposed to be the hero of a BLT, ends up like someone whos finished off in the first 10 mins. Rip off!# Service is inconsistent. Started well with our host Deepa, went downhill after that. Lots of wait staff talking to eachother behind the desert display counter while we felt ignored. The manager took our 2 nd order and got it wrong! Ended up waiting 15 mins for correction.# Lots of seating and parking but inadequately utilised. This is my new favorite restaurant in Chennai. It is one of the few places you can eat healthy and clean. The service is great. All servers meet you with a smile and you don’t have to wait long for service at your table. The smell of the pumpkin soup is so enticing. The flavor is even better. It is a definite must have. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant often. And, on the way out don’t miss their delectable baked items in the Pumpkin Tales bakery. Yum!
