Was not a pleasant experience. Ordered Mini Rava Idly, which was stale and served cold!, Veg Soup - burnt taste and dark in colour, Rava Dosai was ok. Not the reputation that I have known Mangalambigai of yesteryears! Service was pathetic with tables cleaned only after begging several times, simple meal took them over 1 hour to serve after two reminders poor staffing! And above all not worth the kind of rates they charge!

They have abruptly increased price of meals frm Rs 95 to Rs 137,without displaying alsoVery much unfair,price too much compared to nearby hotels.

My experience was really good. And all our friends enjoyed the food. Their taste is good.you can get rose milks for free during Friday to Sunday if u eat above 300. And service could be improvised. There is only one person to serve. So thats the only issue. But taste for that price is very good. So if u want to eat need not to think you can expect good food.

Went to the restaurant yesterday around 7pm. Ordered for rava dosa- never tasted such a poorly made rava dosa in any of the restaurants in chennai. Very bad quality sambar.

This is located near postal Colony and Ashok Nagar junction one of the decent veg restaurant in Ashok Nagar. They have limited number of south Indian options and the taste is good and prices are bit on higher side. It operates on self service model which may not be preferred by many at this price point. Parking for 2 wheeler and four wheeler is adequate and the service is some times very slow.

Taste is pretty good here. Good place for vegetarians. The ambiance is maintained good. Rates are very nominal here. One of the must try is there rose milk. They also provide marriage catering and decorating services.

Dishes were tasty and prepared freshly on our billing.

Me and my friend went to this hotel on 21 April 2021. I requested the cashier to take rose milk from the fridge where customers cannot take it out. she didnt give to us so me and my friend were patiently waiting because she was busy in counting cash later one person (i think she is the manager) came and told us to go out of restaurants because we were sitting very long time without having anything. We both felt insulted.

Over priced. Not worth the price

I dont recommend this place for meals.Parcel meal costs INR 130.Rice not boiled, poor choice of vegetables (consider the cost) and doesnt taste good, poor packing (you have to be a pro to open their plastic containers) and finally they serve buttermilk and not curd for a 130 rupees meal.

Taste was seriously good, but only the price, the price is tooooo high even though the hotel is self-service the price was way toooo high. Can reduce the price, and theyve put mint leaves in water, that can be avoided, coz someone might like and someone might hate, so place normal water and reduce the price. Otherwise taste is good. A very compact hall for hosting a function. It could fit a maximum of 40-50 people. Separate dining room is there which could accommodate 10-15 guests at once. Food quality was above average.

Worst ever...!!Firstly the waiting time was too high..The food presentation awful.. Look at the soup overflowing into the saucer.. The cutlery used was not clean.. Food is all costlier everywhere but comparatively economical & also decently tastier here. I like staying caffeinated in the early morning. That opportunity exists in Chennai only. In the recent times, I had better tasting filter coffee at Mangalambika - than HSB, Hot chips, Bagya (Mambalam) where Id in the last few days.

One of the best hotel for authentic food. We always start with baby corn soup which is the best i have ever had. Does varieties are awesome. Only thing we should wait but I would say worth waiting for the taste of food. A must try veg restaurant!! Cost effective

An average veg hotel.but over priced, less quantity.we ordered dosa,while getting it,we shocked to see that dosai. its too small and weightless like soft cotton cloth.we can fold the whole dosa and eat it in one bite.And there is no parking lot for four wheelers.you have to park any where by road side its not safe.

Typical story of an established brand. They dont care after the initial years. Food is served in ridiculously small portions at exorbitant rates. Sambar or curd rice becomes rice puree without a hint of vegetable pieces. Best to avoid.

One of the best places for good vegetarian food in the city. Their Sambar is especially superb. On the front side they have a self-service restaurant. You have to go behind the building for their A La Carte restaurant. They offer special dishes on certain days of the week. Overall this is a good place for family dinners and lunches.Wish they open branches across the city.

The A/C restaurant (inside the small corridor) is so much better.. food could be served faster.. they take quite some time, that was a bit annoying.. food was good

Worst hotel in West mambalam.. even when if you want to try never take this choice. Not worthy the meal they charged 110 rupees. Not a choice even if you are badly hungry. Also takes more time to give food though its a self service. Rice looks like ration rice n 50rs worthy meal provided for 110 plus.

Although the fare is good and the owners try to do as much as possible, the service team is pretty bad and absolutely dont care for the restaurant they work for. Seeing the indifference one may not like to go back again, when you have so many other choices in west Mambalam

Today just half an hour back we bought chilli barota and barota,14 idly. In this idly only. Other two items are very bad. Its got try,no testy,side Desh is very hot. We just throw the dustbin. Unable to eat. Advice the hotel not sale such items after late hours.
