Chicken biriyani was bad which was a take away. I have had briyani from this place quite a no of times. Not sure why the taste was different and bad this time. Waste of money... May be what I feel is order from Zomato or swiggy they will deliver a hot or new biriyani or dine in. Take away they cheat you by giving you the left over.

Very worst experience in Vandalur Thalapakatti today. I Request all not to visit here unless until it you have no option in Vandalur nearby. We ordered briyani, barbecue chicken, tawa fish and planned to order more once we start...But we are waiting for more than a hour and not even water s served. After requested few times the server got the soup atleast and after half an got just briyani. Then the server came back lethargic and telling some of ordered items were served to other tables and no sorry even. Even after this we just waited calm and its really disgusting even after 15 mins also nobody came and provided the orders. Finally we left the place and paid bill. Even that time no manager came and apologized and they didnt even felt sorry for this superb hosting. As if like we came there to eat without bills the response is. I will write this post to all Thalapakatti locations across chennai and my kind request to everyone here is if this same happens please dont pay bill atleast and leave the place just like that. Me and husband came with my kid even at this corono time to bring my kid out and really felt irritated with their hosting. I will never suggest my friends hereafter to any of Thalapakatti for sure..

We ordered mutton gola briyani. It got spoiled. I saw too much crowd on this hotel for afternoon Lunch. Theres small children also eating.. initially my friends taught that might be bit higher viniger content. After some times only we realised it got spoiled food. Really its bad. Other than that chicken briyani was good.

Located conveniently on the main road and parking isnt an issue here. From my experience, you can rely on the consistency of food taste and quality. This Biriyani is clearly one of the best.They arent efficient in managing crowd. Both the Dine-in and take aways have a lot of waiting time. Take away services takes unreasonable amount of time (> 35 mins) even for readily available item like a Single Biriyani, particularly during peak hours.

Thalappakatti boneless mutton biryani is the best here. The taste are upto the mark. The ambiance is great and is also a best family restaurant. The price are bit on the expensive side but its worth every bit. The waiters are very responsive and very respectful.

Hygiene need to be improved. The serving leaves arent cleaned and dirt is evident as seen in the photo. when brought to staff notice, they werent surprised. The lamp chops tasted good.

First its located on the GST road. I was worried how to park there. Just as I was abt to stop my car for my kids to get down a manand asked for keys!!! Valet parking!!!!!!Everyone knows abt the food here. One bad thing was sweet saunf is not available freely. They keep it hidden in the billing counter.

They have many rush on weekends.The food serve is really good. And staffs are friendly .I had food here several times. This time I tried their family biryani bucket for 1120 Rs .

I loved it. Simply awesome. Traditional thalappakatti flavor. Seeragasamba lovers should try this and this branch get a notch on it. I have tried mutton briyani and chicken 65 briyani. Both are equally excellent. Even in some of thalappakatti, chicken briyani wont be good in comparison with mutton briyani. My full 5 star to this shop because of yummy and taste. But they can improve quantity of raitha in parcel.

Not even worth it for a single star rating. I believe the brand name is spoiling because of working staff there. They were showing too much of attitude for taking an order itself and also took lot of time for delivering the food. I was irritated to the core when I had food last time with my family. I was completely upset and cant even consume the food properly. Taste wise it is not worth for the price. Too much of oil in Biriyani which will makes feeling uncomfortable for digestion. I decided not to go this branch hereafter and not recommend to anyone to go.

Visited last Sunday at around 2.15pm.. wait time was around 10mins. Got a table in second floor. Food taste was as usual like other outlets. It was nice. Briyani was good, Kozhi idichathu was excellent,Black pepper chicken was good. Parotta was just ok and it wasnt fresh. Car parking was limited..

They forgot to keep piece in mutton briyani in parcel.Since my house is near I was able to get it.

Always thalappakatti is the best beriyani. But comparing to velachery branch, vandalur branch is so slow in serving and getting the order.

I had very good experience with the thalappakatti HSR LAYOUT branch in Bangalore. When I visited this vandaloor branch in chennai expecting it could be same as the one in chennai I was completely surprised for the way I been treated here by the employees. No cleanliness 1st point, the hand wash area was not clean and convincing. I could have left! Was little busy and tired to go to another restaurant so I had to order food. Waited for almost 20 mins for a single dosa. The next mistake I did was ridiculous. Believing that they serve better I have ordered chicken fried rice. For this order alone I had to wait for more than 35 mins. Pathetic preparation no spice salt and the veggies are not cooked. Till I finish food I none have served me a water bottle. There is no seperate person for cleaning the table. The person who serves food cleans the table and removes plates with the same glove on.They dont even change the glove. Most disappointing thing. Workers here are very far away from the words hygienic and clean. Totally disgusting. Never ever go here.
