Im a 3rd-year student pursuing B.Tech (ECE) in this college. The quality of teaching is good and academics are given a lot of importance here. Faculty are well-qualified. Tests are scheduled appropriately and it is made sure that every student attends all the tests. The curriculum is updated periodically and personality development or aptitude classes are conducted from a very early stage. The placements here are very good. More than 500 very reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Google, etc. come for placements every year. Placement training for students is also very thorough and of good quality. The advantage of studying here is that it is located right at the heart of the city and has a metro station and a bus stop very close to it, so the commute is easy. There is a lot of recognition for excellence in academics here. I was able to avail myself scholarships based on my semester exam results and that was a very good thing. Waste of money and time.Stupid rules and the computer science faculty have no clue about operating a computer, let alone coding.High fees for very little service that they provide.4 years of life has been wasted.I wouldnt recommend this to even my worst enemy.If you get anywhere near this college, RUN!I may update this review with photos once college starts.

The faculties are quite good if we take the knowledge and their quality into consideration. SRm is known throughout India for its mass placements. But 99% of the placements are dominated by the IT companies. There is almost zero placement in the core sectors. The college life is simply great with so many things to do all around. There are various competitions help at different levels where the students can show their mettle. Knowledge acquired from this esteemed institution has made us all stand in our own feet. The hostels, both boys and girls are nice. But the major problem that the non-south Indian students have to face is the food. Those who dont like south Indian cuisine will definitely have to exist on maggi most of the times or have to keep fasting.

Well Im currently studying at this place and if you are looking to study here please make sure that you are a South Indian. Coz North Indians are definitely gonna face partiality over here. And if you dont speak Tamil then you are just wasting your time over here.
