Studied B.E. Mechanical Engineering here from 2013 to 2017. Got a very flexible and competitive study+practical environment while at the Institute. Attended multiple conferences and a couple of overseas internships. CIT has evolved into a much beautiful and hi-tech space now. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to get into the real world of engineering.

Lab systems were all old and outdated. Good infrastructure and good campus, not easily accessible. No means of transport, college is in a deep village, outskirts!!

Its too long from the outer city . Transportation facility is good . Better to keep an auto stand or bus stop for cit college . Best part is the center of excellence and faculty working in the college . They are friendly to student s.

Its actually located in kundrathur to sriperambathoor road 5 to 6km from kundrathur bust stand.I visited once for an exam and I had an horrible experience, poor planning by the management. Even help desk is not upto date with the events happening in and even unable to direct or communicate properly to the visitors. They dont deserve hosting exams.

Horrible experience while went to write exam here. No bus areAvailable frequently and located in remote area where no shop for eat,hardly it take 1 hr from tambaram railway station.and when i went early for exam they told me to wait outside in hot conditions.

Best college in TamilNadu..Teachers here are student-friendly and CIT provides a fabulous environment for the students to showcase their talents and get their dream job easily..Unless other colleges as far as I know CIT offers training sessions and aptitude sessions for students right from the day 1 of the college.. Im proud to say that Im a CITian..Here students are also allowed to explore other branches too though they dont belong to that particular branch...After i had completed my grade 12 i had no idea of what talents i had..After i had joined CIT Im able too see a positive transformation in me..I thank CIT for opening up my hidden talents...

Good Ambience with spacious campus

CIT has given the strength to face challenges on IT sector and well opportunities and good infrastructure.

They provide excellent placement training. The students get their placements from fifth semester. Some get placed in their 5th semester. Most of the students get placed in their 7th semester. the minimum package is 3.5 LPA and maximum package as of now is 21 LPA. Almost 97% of students get placed.

I thought that we cannot get correct job engineering field in the particular department we studied.So I choose B.E as a qualification degree for govt. Exams. But when I entered Chennai Institute of Technology, I get to know that my thought was completely wrong. Because in first year itself I have entered research works in my department. Even though we are in lockdown ,my faculty members are taking a very good effort in the studies as well as extra curricular activities and they are very friendly with me including our chairman sir. Thanks to Chennai Institute of Technology because I am able to believe now that my choice is the best and I have a better future.🙂

I am first year student in CIT. Teachers are very professional and friendly. Giving lot of opportunities to identify the students talent without seeing marks. Peace and calm surrounding gives positive environment 😊. Bond between senior and junior feels like having friendship with classmates. They supporting us a lot .

It can be worst place for conducting competitive exams. Totaly in outskirt area where no means of transportation.....far from nearest railway station....i would give 0.00001 star if possible

Transportation is worest for this college , it is located very far away . for competetive exams one should reach TAMBARAM RLY STN and croos the foot over bridge walk through last busstop , bus no is 88T will reach you directly. if you go by 66 no bus you should land at kundrathur busstop and go by share auto 30rs , so better go by 88T .

A very nice eco-friendly place with ample space for various departments. There are facilities for sports, Cafeteria, small temple. Cons: parking for visitors (need to park on the main road causing inconvenience to road users when there is enough space inside), High power Electricity transmission lines passing right above the main building and Cafeteria (not good for health in the long term), location is very remote, institute dominated by Andhra people.

College atmosphere and hospitality... Is very good. The faculty give their best and they dont hesitate to clear our doubts ..a perfect place of transforming lives 🔥 . They give equal importance to sport and non technical events .. etc.

College is situated far away from the main area. Transportation problem. Otherwise college infrastructure is good.

Its located in the outskirts of the city. So it is very hard to get there through public transport like bus coz theres only single bus for one hour duration.

Worst Place to write Competitive Exams. Mainly for Intelligence Buereau Examination. If u get a exam center allocation here, better go and sleep in front of the gate before a day. There is no proper bus connectivity or any other public transport available to reach this place. If u are coming here for exam from a long distance or out of city or other districts better u can forget writing the exams. They wont even allow u to enter even if u come at sharp timings.

Such a beautiful campus atmosphere! They keep knocking on your door with a plethora of opportunities and the online education scenario was well handled. Professors are easily approachable and provide utmost support. Cant wait to step on campus for physical classes!

Chennai Institute of Technologys management is excellent, organized and the rules they keep help the campus to be safe and in order. The Centre Of Excellences (COE) are really great. Our friendly seniors help us in any kind of help. They teach and guide us for upskilling new emerging technologies like 3d printing, Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and much more. The professors are helpful, kind and friendly. The entire faculty and department leave no stone unturned to shape ones future. With an attitude of being ever ready to help, and not only delivering classroom teachings, but they are also the pillars of the learning. I have learnt so much from their constructive input and guidance throughout each lesson. They have helped me in understanding where my strengths and weaker aspects lie, and how to improve myself. I feel that over the past 6 months I have gained a lot of knowledge and practical strategies that will be beneficial to me, and those I deal with personally and professionally. The Institute exceeded my expectations significantly. Their attention to detail and creative approach to bring learning to life online is mind-blowing. The webinars are awe-inspiring as well. They make the curriculum very precise, challenging and fun to learn.

Good college but I felt like congested because college should have lots of trees and free space. Infra is modern but I like old university style infra with fully equipped one. Hope staff are good at subject.

Its a very fabulous and hygienic institution, surrounded by many trees and beautiful places and even a very large ground. I was here for my bridge course which was really motivational. The lab is like a work place where u will get a professional experience. I dont give 5/5 stars bcuz I feel the transportation need to be improved.

I had been there to appear for an entrance examination. Exam center was ION Digital which is inside the campus of this college. Campus area is very well maintained. It has a cafeteria where u can get CCD drinks, burger, cold drinks, samosa, vada, biryani and many more. It also has a well maintained cricket ground. An SBI ATM is there just outside the main entrance. It was overall a nice experience to be there.

Worst location no place to parking..No bus facility.. Rare busses..Some duplicate location shown in google.. For this college got confused...Bring more money for Auto..But got lil guidance within campus(might be a marketing minded) 😂

While the MAPS indicates Chennai Institute of Technology is located at Sarathy Nagar, Kundrathur, originally the Institute is situated 7 km beyond that spot which forced many students to take a detour to reach the spot. The precise spot of CIT needs to be identified and updated in MAPS to avoid unnecessary confusion with Call taxi drivers..

Went there for an exam, the lab was pretty neat and clean, also they have a nice canteen there along with a big field which you can see as you enter.PS- theres nothing much near the institute, and its a bit isolated from the main city.

My college is very ideal choice that I made after 12th. To learn engineering is better than studying engineering, this college supports more on practical knowledge and implement in real situations. Faculty members motivate us to do lot of self research on various domains which makes us shine every aspect. We gain a good knowledge of the subject by indulging ourselves in self learning. Training for company placements are well in advance and are on the good track.

Very worst college, no respect for Students and parents from low class and middle class family . vulgar words are used by staffs,principal,chairman ,they speak badly about our parents, students who not paid the fees asked to clean the Canteen and Lab, students joined there for studying not to clean canteen and labs.not even worth for 1 star.

Guys,whoever looking this college for RRB EXAM!!The route which this map shows is blocked at Madha engineering you need to take a long route which goes through villages and it will take additional 5 to 6 kms.so plan accordingly.

It was really nice with decent computers but many restrooms did not have locks and also required cleaning.

Teaching in our college is good. The teachers do all possible things to make you understand the subject. Teachers are well qualified. Smartboards are installed in every class to make teaching more comfortable and efficient. Digital pads are provided for the exams.The course curriculum is highly useful.

I am currently studying final year EEE in CIT. I had a very low cutoff in my 12th standard and wasnt sure about choosing Engineering career since I am not confident enough to study engineering.Meanwhile me and my mom visited Chennai Institute of Technology where I found that this college will definitely create a platform for transforming me to a real engineer. College Infrastructure, Industry oriented trainings and Center of Excellence facilities are awesome and which made my dreams come true. If we follow the Placement related training given by the college, we can definitely get through and get offer in a top company. I strongly recommend Chennai Institute of Technology which has created a great impact in my life as a real engineer.
