The date of this review is Jan-2020. I have seen this wedding hall since 2007. In the intervening 13 years, this wedding hall has been maintained as though it is brand new. Superb facilities. Clean, elegant. Beautiful maintenance. Great place to get married (or attend a kacheri or other public function).

The place was neat and clean and sanitized and the hand sanitizer was kept at the entrance of the hall as well as in the corridor.

It’s funny. I’ve attended a hundred weddings here. Of differing size and scale. Never felt the need to actually review it until the last time.One of the most balanced wedding venues in the city, MRC has proven malleable to a wide range of folks. The last wedding stood out in particular though because it was the wedding of one of Chennai’s most well known event and wedding photographers Graphick Stills’ Vijayendran’s son Ajay.The smaller hall was decked out very tastefully and everyone there noticed it as well. In spite of there being a small army of photographers I had to take my own pics! And the food was to die for. Classic South Indian breakfast but served with respect and great regard for guests. Well done MRC for keeping it real!A true example of how to use a good venue to your advantage!

Very neatly maintained..Top notch locality with superb space..All fine..But as a band we were treated really poor..We were instructed not to have a cloth banner..I really didnt know what irks them If someone notes our contact if they like our concert..They say it as their policy..Had I put a big LED screen or something,it was acceptable..Whats wrong in keeping a small banner..I dont understand..The worst part is that there were mosquitos all around the hall..They are keen to not allow us to have banners..Instead concentrate on getting rid of the mosquitos first..

One marriage hall that which is big enough for a pomp marriage and which has all facilities within the building. The dining hall is very spacious and can accommodate about 200 people at a time. (smaller hall). The bigger one accommodates about 400 people.The main marriage hall is very huge with a wide stage. You can have an enormous backdrop and a panda where the marriage is performed. On either side of the Dias are huge TV screens which can be used to display the childhood photos and videos of the Bride and Bridegroom. It can n be used for direct tv coverage of the activities taking place in the Dias. The entrance itself is so majestic. Neatly maintained. After every event in the marriage, they make it a point to clear the place that gives a good sense of feeling. Bathrooms and toilets are very neatly maintained.Most of all being in the centre of the city, it gives good accessibility to all.Last but not the least, it gives a good feel of a palace. I feel very proud of getting my children married in such a exotic palace.It is worth every penny that which we spend on renting it.

Nice spacious halls for all types of gatherings. There is a big hall as well as a mini hall. They are accessible by lift and stairs. The mini hall can seat 300 to 350 people comfortably. There are separate dining halls with LED screens showing what is happening in the hall. They also have rooms which are given if the Halls are taken for rent. The stage in the mini hall is not accessible by wheelchair. Otherwise a good venue for big and small events.

Visited the MRC hall for a friends wedding. It has two stories and different halls available for events. It’s a pretty famous hall is the area, as many people knew about it. The hall was very well maintained. The event was in an AC hall and food was in the non AC hall. It is spacious enough for 200+ people(the hall where I attended). Overall it’s considered as a luxury to have events here.It had pretty much space for parking.

There is a lot of noise pollution caused by this building whenever there is a wedding. Im not against partying, but they have to limit the use of powerful amps and speakers which blows the ears of everyone around the neighborhood. Am sure the authorities can curb this noise and limit it within their walls as they know the importance of students preparing for their exams.(They own a school in the same locality)

It is a very good wedding and party hall. Well maintained. Parking and toilet can be better. It is very spacious with excellent Ac cooling . Commuting to this place is very easy. It has been a landmark since many years and it is well known hall. I enjoyed a wedding that I have attended overall I like the place. I suggest to book the hall for wedding and parties if you can afford rent.

I have been to both the mandapams the big the small(er) one. So neatly furnished that you dont need much in the way of decorations. Huge places so never feels crowded. Definitely deserves to be known as the best hall in the city.

Attended a seemandham function in this hall. Air conditioned hall with separate dining which is also air conditioned. Suitable for small functions. There is also a bigger hall in the same complex.

Attended south indian wedding there.. great place to host family weddings... Catering service was awesome.. arrangements were really awesome.. and hats off to hall decorations..

The venue has a few halls.. at least two. It has a comfortable space for seating and nice place for food. The ambience and acoustics are very good, as we listened to a concert in the hall. Parking space is ample. A excellent place for a good gathering.

One thing which really stand out is cleanliness, they have lot of people who work round the clock to keep at its best.Also very spacious, specially vanimahal in second floor is huge. First floor is the dining hall which is also same size of wedding hall.But getting the booking here is very tough, has to be done months before .Parking space is also good .

Just Excellent. It has two big air conditioned halls with state of the art sound systems and the way it is built looks like you are inside a palace. There are rest rooms in each of the floors . Also the dining room is very spacious and can accommodate a larger crowd. Overall it looks majestic.

Too many rules and regulations. One cant enjoy the occasion based on their rules. Too many restrictions for every thing. Rest its well maintained and ample space. Thats the biggest advantage so they heed us. But there is always a time for all.
