Lord Jagannath temple i get extreme peace. We had gone for prasad. Prasad booking was done through phone one day before. You will get a sattvic meal.

I visited this temple in the evening around 7pm and I was lucky to see the aarati which happens at that time. It was such a serene place. So peaceful and so clean. It closes by 7:30pm and we were running short of time. Better to visit in the early evening during daylight so as to see the place properly.It is not the replica of the temple which is in Puri, orissa but it follows the same rituals and timing as its been done there. Even the priest and other members of the temple are from Orissa.It is situated just beside the beach. U can hear the sound of the waves and nice air always blowing. U need to follow the google map to reach inside the streets. Its in Kanathur, ECR.Definitely a must visit temple for the darshan of Jagannath.

One of the favorite places in Chennai. They have maintained the temple well. Have been going to the temple for past 10 years. The best part is its not very crowded. So you can have the darshan properly.

Being a place near by beach is good, out side temple is not clean & hygienic. Very commercial place, they not even following any rules belongs to Jagannath temple puri.

It was very neat ...lot of good sculptures...a small pond and few plants were making the place a good meditation area .. but since the place is small hardly half an hour it will take to see.There is space for parking outside.The road to the place fills with water during rains.

The temple is a mini replica of the Puri Jagannath Temple and is set amongst the quite and peaceful environment on East Coast Road near MayaJaal Multiplex. The Sea Beach is at walkable distance from the temple! The temple complex also has several small temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Ganesha, Mahalaxmi, Parvati and Navagraha! The entrance has a beautiful pillar with design of Shesh Naag on it!

A calm place, they did Arthi differently but it was nice. While doing Arthi saint will give some people some music instruments and we have to play it , its simple to play and those sounds cleared my mind and I felt calm. I suggest you to visit the temple with a good mind.

Divine place built with lot of creativity which represents the Ancient culture. A nice place to visit with family and very accessible from the main road. Have restroom facility and two lotus ponds with fishes in it. Best time to visit is after 04:00 pm IST. Temple has pot of paintings and carvings in the walls where it represents the history of the temple and the god. This place is near to Beach. So you can visit the beach which is just a minute distance walkable from temple.

You have car parking. Timings no change. Morning 8:30 to 12:30. Try avoiding evening visit. Only one hour in evening. Small and peaceful. Very neat and clean. Roads leading temple are not that good. Once ur near, please check with people nearby. GPS does not show u the right turns.
