Very near to Kodambakkam railway station. Placed on a busy road. Easily accessible. I recommend this place for your home or office functions.

Nice place to stay. What is a bit old hotel but maintained. You have working place. They do offer food but we have not tried it we prefer to go outside. Felt a bit costlier.

Complementary food items serving is not that much tasty along with beer charging Rs. 290/- per beer. The complimentary items has to be maintained just serving in Aruna at T.nagar.

Pretty decent room I got. Hot water was not working. Loved the balcony. Came for one night rest as I had to travel back to bangalore next day morning. So couldnt explore much..a bitt overpriced for the room I got and an open Car parking

We have enjoyed our 3 nights stay there. Breakfast is very good. Staffs are also very helpful. All the required shops are just opposite to the hotel. Hot water running. AC working too. Good one to stay.

Quality of service and quality of accommodation has been really good!!As an overseas traveler, I was unsure of what to expect at Hotel Nayagara when I booked to stay here for 4 days. But after experiencing the advantages, Ive extended my stay in this hotel for a further 12 days!!Contrary to negative reviews and feedback seen online, I took the chance and Im glad to have done it.Hotel staff have been friendly, courteous and professional in their interactions with me. Room service is prompt. House keeping cleans the room and changes bed linen and replaces toiletries every day! The one day they missed doing so, when I mentioned to management, they immediately rectified the issue and apologized for it.Reception staff are pleasant and helpful with a smile and Can Do - Will Do positive attitude.Overall Ive enjoyed my stay here and will book accommodation again in Hotel Nayagara when traveling again to Chennai.

Visited the old tavern bar in Nayagara, their complimentary snacks are great. It includes a rasa vadai, do try it out. I love the chilly egg here, always insists that my friends get a plate of chilly egg for me :D

This is a kind of hotel I think good for solo travelers & Bachelors, not for family or families with children.pros : 1. hotel location not bad little away from main road..2. rooms are clean3. food averagecons :1. this is my biggest concern about this hotel is that room is very very small. you open the door & you are in bed. they fit every think in that small room. if you move slightly you may hit something. if you want to open almirah you no one can go to bathroom. if you want to go to other side of bed either you have to cross over the bed or you have to move chair or something else. so rooms are very small & claustrophobic. bathroom is very much narrow. During taking shower if you move a little you may hit basin. so rooms are not for me definitely.2.they also dont allow visitors... girls definitely not. i stay there with my family & one of my old college friend came to meet us at noon but they dont allow her to meet us at room. we request for only 5 mins but they dont allow, told us girls are not allowed. so for me its embarrassing.

Hotel Nayagara is a no-frills attached hotel. It has a restaurant, which serves a decent range of everyday items. It has a grocery store, medical store, restaurant and shopping right next door. What the hotel lacks in amenities, it makes up a lot in the quality of service. Excellent staff, very helpful and accommodating, especially Venkat and Prasad at the front reception and room service. The hotel can be overall better maintained.

The stay was comfortable. Complementary breakfast was good, room condition was good but the bed was little dirty but manageable. They can provide one more bath towel. very comfortable location, local train connectivity. just walk-able distance from kodambakkam railway station. clean surroundings. over all very good hotel for to stay.

Very worst hotel. I made my son birthday on 4th june 2017. I ordered food for 120 peoples. More peoples came but, eventhough they have a more food, they refused to serve for other peoples. We asked the reason simply they saying no plates? Very poor and worst response. I felt very shame in front of guest. I strongly recommend please dont choose this hotel. After completing the function they asked money for serving peoples without any guilty conscious.

The hotel was too good and the place was pretty well and the staff are well mannered and they are kind.we booked Party halls for birthday party. They are a well decorated with balloons .the taste of the food is good and they have a good parking facility and its located near the Railway Station I prefer this party hall for minimum 75 members accomplished. The property is rated for 4 out of 5 in the service and facility. And bathroom for party halls need to made v more clean up

Rooms are fair : just enough not to qualify as bad. The staff were a mixed lot - some helpful, some not. There is just not enough parking in the hotel. We did not sample the food - but the room coffee was atrocious. Probably good for a business stay (one gets back to a drink, some food, and a place to lay the head) after a hard days work. In terms of location, fair tending to good : for someone who does not know Chennai, this is not an ideal location.

This hotel is in need of renovation. The walls need repainting and repairs. The rooms need to be redesigned to make better use of the available space. The bathroom, though small, could be better designed to ensure proper utilization of limited space. On the up side, the staff is courteous, fluent in English, and the food is good.

Good place to stay. Nice location. Well connected. Rooms are clean, well maintained. Breakfast is good. Rooms size wary slightly. Based on availability, you may get somewhat bigger or smaller room. If you have work anywhere closeby, go for it.

Be careful before you book rooms here. The rooms have just 2 electrical sockets. One for the mosquito repellent( 2 drops left). And one more doesnt work. Have to call them to fix it. In the midst of fixing the socket, the AC makes a funny noise. And on top the hotel management says its normal to have only 2 sockets and asks me to check the google reviews, which anyways is not impressive with 3.5 average rating. Lesson learnt: Never book a room at nayagara just because you need one in this locality.The person at the reception named Krishna is very rude and wont tell me the owners name . With this kind of a service why would anyone want to stay in nayagara

Wifi not working. Had to pay to waiters in cash for in room dining. No bathroom kits. No shower. And yes this was their finest room Elite Club Room. Very disappointed.

Except convenient location everything else abt this hotel is bad. Dirty, smelly rooms, unclean toilets. Small rooms. AC switches on/off all the time making a big noise as it does so. Fan works in only 1 mode - Full speed ! No standard check out time. It is the same as check-in time. Which means if you check-in at 5 am then you check out same time on you day of departure. Or pay for a full day just to get up at a decent time and leave. Stay away !!

Pleasant stay in this Hotel, staff is good.Need improve breakfast – quality, not able to eat Sambar and chatni – prepared in high volume of Garlic. – Hotel Management should think about medication people. Also.

Location is good this hotel is walk able distance from kodambakkam railway station and there is lot of option for food and drinks. Check-in process is very smooth one good thing is they allowed me to checkin at 8am in morning(even though standard chekin time is 12) and asked me to checkout at 8 next day which is acceptable. There bar and restaurant is bit costly but thats not a problem as you have many restaurants and bar outside the hotel. Studio rooms are not much spacious, but they have maintained cleanliness. bathrooms are clean but towels should be replaced. Over all good experience and I will recommend this hotel for solo traveller and business trips

Hotel is good. but tv is not good, there is shadow inside LCD TV of every room I stayed here. They can include one bed sheet under blanket. Now they are providing blanket on top it only they had covered with bed sheet

I needed a budget hotel and found this hotel on MmT . The rooms are decent , pretty clean and neat. Nothing fancy but stayable . Very convenient location with market nearby for emergencies. Allowed for early check-in. Would recommend if u r looking for budget hotel. Only issue was shower was not working but thats ok.

Attended seminar 5th floor conference hall. Parking limited. 1st come 1st served. Small hall seating capacity maybe 150. Good acoustics and Mike system. But tea and biscuits marginal. Eg. No option forwithout sugar no black.

Very convenient place for those who are going for visa purpose.Near to Biometric centre, US consulate and also to CMBT koyambedu bus stationAll these places will take just 15 min ride .The hotel is very neat and clean but not very posh. However the room is good for the money. I stayed here only a day and not taken food here as Saravana hotel is only a few steps away.

The hotel is in a tight spot, but the thing I loved the most was the bus boy. He said hes worked there for fifteen years, and hes so committed and nice. Just for him, Id highly recommend this place.

Small room.... Single bed space .. they placed two cots... AC not working properly... If you change the mode, the compressor stops.. you have to call the mech... Food is ok. Bar is ok.But you have to pay cash each time you order anything ... I may not prefer this hotel in future...

Nayagara Hotel is a nice hotel. No hassle as such i faced off with it. Hotel provided us the good facilities, nice services. Only the concern was the the quality of the AC wasnt good. Rest everything was quite good. Location is very good and convenient. Will rate 4.5 on 5.

Horrible hotel, completely avoidable. Unhygienic, entire hotel stinks very bad. The smell in the rooms and bath are unbearable. I had to keep spraying my deo all the time as room freshener. Arrogant staff. I booked through Makemytrip a STD room, but they gave me a smaller studio room. I asked for a plate, and they said without a restaurant order, plate, spoon or glass will not be given. Online bookings are not offered good rooms due to discounts. Blankets offered are with lot of white dried stains. Bathroom is worse than a public toilet.Please avoid, dont waste your money, and most importantly your health.

No way close to the rooms in the pictures. Musketos in the room. Very Hadley maintained. Since reached late night no choice to stay.

They have their so called premium rooms in first floor right opp to their store room and office, they have only 2 premium according the receptionist..

From outside hotel looks good, clean and at a very convenient location. Staffs are also very friendly. But rooms and bed are very small. Bed was just little bigger than train berths and not at all comfortable. Also they gave a smoking room.

Stayed for a night. All I could say was ok. I cant tell about the price it was booked for me to stay for my cousins wedding so I just needed a place to crash late night so didnt have time to see around. It is accessible from train station so.

I booked this hotel under reserve @ 0 option for a friend of mine. The hotel staff was kind enough to give proper accomodation as my friend reached the hotel only at 2 AM in the morning. Place is worth the money we spend.

As a frequent traveler and a guest to Nayagara..am still not happy with the WiFi..U need to chase the desk to get the WiFi activated. The AC was not working.
