Excellent place for the kids to hang around and enjoy. Its maintained quite well. Masks and Sanitizers are mandatory during entry.Socks is also mandatory while entering the play area.The place is slightly on the expensive side.

Good place for the kids. It’s well maintained and clean. There is a restroom inside and is neatly maintained as well. There are enough chairs for the parents to sit outside whilst the kids are playing inside.The only feedback will be to improve the choice of food inside.Also if you are bringing your kids here, remember to bring a pair of socks. Else you will need to pay 100₹ for a very ordinary pair of white socks.

Excellent place for kids to play around. Has two sections one for small kids and one for older kids, three slides, one trampoline, 2 air gun areas, I air pump area, one rope maze and one ball pit. Has food being served, but a lot pricy. A cup of coffee and French fries will cost you 160rs.It is one hour at 500, and charged per additional hour. Socks is a must, they do sell at 25rs per pair.Lot of attenders to look for the kids. Some or active and some are lethargic. Security guard is in place.Have been there quite a bit and have seen birthday parties being conducted. Haven’t enquired about the price, but have felt a small place for birthday gathering, ( they carve out a place in the waiting area to conduct parties).They politely did say as one attender per child once when the place was crowded and also indicated that if it is crowded they may charge more

Conveniently placed at Phoenix mall. A premium kids play area for kids between 2 years to 12. Kids for the first few times have a very good experience at exploring and playing all the activities. For parents and guardians its a good place where you can unwind, relax, read the paper , browse the net (free WiFi). There is a small canteen that serves fast food, coffee, quick eats, donuts etc - yes priced as a slight premium. Priced on the premium side (RS 500 and hour on weekends) but worth it as there is sufficient seating for adults and kids crowd is right enough for all kids to play in harmony. Hygienic restroom also available. To conclude you will be surprised at the crowd here.

Lovely place to spend your time with your kids. They hv a great atmosphere here & your kids will enjoy to the core. Staffs are friendly & carry good attitude. You can also catch some good snacks in the same place which is missing in most of other play area centre’s in the city. Parking will always be a challenge in Phoenix Market City.

Hygiene place... with good play area... they allow one parent along with the kids to take care... socks is compulsory for any one entering the play area.. is a good thing.. I would prefer this for the playarea in arena on top floor..

Today I took my kids to funky monkey at Velachery Phoenix mall. My kids had a full fun time of 2hrs and well spent of Rs.1040. They wanted to have something to eat so I gave them money to buy a packet of Lay’s chips pack from the small stall that they have. For a Rs10 packet they charged me Rs.20 for nothing. When questioned the manager they had no response for it. Simply stating third party seller. When I started to record he just stood there with his smile on his face that he’s going to become an internet sensation now . I have attached the bill along with the chips packet that they gave us for the Rs.20 . Just because they have their own stalls doesn’t mean they can charge me more than the MRP.I’m so pissed off now.Shame on the place for cheating customers like this .#scamfunkeymonkeyschennai

Good indoor place for kids. But too expensive for what it offers. 500 RS for 1 hr is too much. Even socks is not provided in that price; 70 Rs extra. Better to utilise the place in the play area opposite food court.

Kids can enjoy here around 2 hrs continuously. But the women who stand there to guide everyone is vry irritating. Otherwise it is a great place for kids to spend time.

It was good initially, but over the time the place has become shabby . They are not able to maintain the quality of the plays. It wont last long.

The kids love the place.A bit expensive-500 for the first hour and gradually increases with time.Socks cost 70 and if the parent accompany the kids, add on another 70 for parents socks.The play area is not too safe, my daughter got stuck on the sides and had to be pulled out.You have good food options but was told the food order comes weekly once. Not too sure how healthy it is.They have introduced fresh juices as well.Some funky merchandise options which is again very expensive!The rest rooms are clean and child friendly.

The area is big and clean. Toddlers and kids will have fun. Please bring your own socks( alternatively you can buy it too) . Best advantage us you can literally leave the kids play away to glory. Weekend rates are high, so go on weekdays . Food is definitely over priced here! ( Hope the management looks into this).

I have been to Funky monkey a couple of times in Bangalore.This time as I was in Chennai took my sisters kids to Funky monkey Chennai, but the lady named Cathy is rude and started making faces, just because I asked for a bill. I never experienced such worst service. Wrong staff for this business model.

I took my 6 year old son to this place and he puked while playing, the staffs were showing a weird reaction when I informed them. They have many staffs who were simply standing and not helping/ guiding the customers.. Not a customer friendly place

You would imagine that a place which caters to kids would have of not polite, at least a little less aggressive attitude towards kids and parents! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone,I am sure you would find less expensive options elsewhere where they treat customers with a little more value.

Good place for children upto 9 yrs. Quite a few games. Slide is pretty fast. Safety aspects are taken care. Charges are a bit on higher side. They allow to bring your own socks which is good. Enough seats for parents to sit. Cafeteria serves mostly junk food.

This place looks very clumsy, Play area seems like they havent sanitised for months as we can easily find dust & dirt everywhere.They dont even have sense to clean it as this area is made for children and they will get affected soon. Its very much disturbing lady from front desk asking my friends repeatedly have you got double bill & have you paid bill or not despite charging us while entering. Very lethargic staff.

Had been there last Friday. While the place is done up great the unwelcoming behaviour of staff at the reception counter just doesnt fit in the business model. Not only that they dont explain about the charges in advance they also behave and respond unprofessionally. Wrong type reception staff for this type of business.Atleast we wouldnt visit again.

Nice play area for the kids located in Phoenix mall 1st floor. well maintained you can accompany your kid to play area. Charge is fair. Snacks are also available but a bit costly there. Supporting staff are good . Any complaints the management takes in a positive way and tried to rectify them. There is a separate washroom for kids.

I dont know why these useless girls always fight in the front desk. This is the third time they are making us to wait. Either they will be busy talking to old man or talk in mobile. Now they started arguing with each other forgetting the children standing infront of them. Fun city has a better service than these people.

Had been to this place twice. My kid enjoys the time being here. Good safe venue to let your kids have fun while you can have an eye on them and relax with a snack / drink.

I loved that they allow elders to play with the kids in everything that is there. They 2 had different slides, a ball shooting gun, trampolines and i enjoyed all of it.

Very expensive for very limited play options for the kids. Looks like they think Chennaities would not have experienced these kids of play areas to compare with. Sorry to say but this is bit of stealing money. All age groups having same price is very greedy. 6 months - 4 year old for instance have very little to do but need to pay 500 bucks per hour for those limited options? Staff at the counter/till need to be trained well on how to treat the customers. They look like they don’t what to do when customers are standing infromt of them. They must at least remember which customer has just arrived and which ones are going out. They are lack proper communication. Parents sitting at the table had embarrassing time when they were asked to move out as they preparing for a party. Some of them were not even offered alternate paces to sit and they had loads of tables that were with no cleaning being done thereby ending up with some of them even leaving abruptly. Looks like by going for low cost cheap labour options, they are ending up damaging their reputation. Overall poor experience and waste of money. Rather was happy with Fun city where the prices were realistic as well and the children had options to play with.

Funky monkey came in with a lot of expectation. Came on a weekday (Friday 16 August 1. 50 pm ) only to be upset with the team standing idle and my kids wandering and to top it up witnessed a heated arguments and fight among the staff wearing brown T shirts. They were actually shouting front of customers. Just as I wanted to leave ,thanks to Pewar she too care of my kids.well want to add. A total turn around Chitra made an effort to track me and apologised before I left the mall. I do appreciate her concern.

Had a very good time. My kid was so happy and enjoyed it well. But too expensive just for an hour you have to pay Rs.500. Also extra charges for accompanying adults are really unacceptable. Toddler play area is good but others junior kids jump in as they wish which scares us as they might push or accidentally hit toddlers. Employees should be more careful and organised in this cause. Price reduction and better organisation will result in repeated customers.

Over priced but trampoline is available only here and my kid likes only that and we had to pay the price.

Absolutely not made for interest of the children, they are more keen on selling cheap socks to the family inclusive of a 6 month infant, u charge provide them a good quality socks. That they are not bothered, rude front desk people over pricey dont waste your time in here

Clean and safe place for kids to enjoy. The play area is big with an area dedicated to toddlers. They allow kids upto 12 yrs unlike other play areas, which is an advantage. It is quite pricey at Rs.400 per child(unlimited time) plus Rs.70 extra for a pair of socks (we need not buy socks if we bring a pair ourselves). On the plus side, if the kids tend to play for a couple of hours, then it is worth. Parents are allowed inside the play area, but only with socks. So, if you would like to accompany your child, bring a pair of socks from home. They have a cafetaria that serves a selection of burgers, pizza, pasta and fries. The food is good but overpriced for the quantity served. Overall, a good place for kids outings.

Extremely rude staff . Name is Hanna. Spoke very rudely to my wife who was handling 3 kids. When we complained to the owner Farah, she refused to acknowledge the complaint. Very expensive for a very poor experience.

Bad training for staff. At the landing of the slide there is a damage to the flooring and my friends kid (6 year old) got three stitches because of this as she tripped and fell hurting her part above the eye. The staff who are to man the kids inside keep talking to each other without any attention to the kids. To make things worse, the employees radioed in their walkie talkie all the other and around 50 employee mob came and were taking pictures of a child bleeding profusely as we were waiting for the first aid guy/they called doctor. Then we protested why take photos, to which they replied harshly they can and started yelling as they were in numbers and threatened us not to tell about this incident to anyone. The entire episode left my friends family and mine completely shattered. After a few months posting as my friend is okay to do this and warn others about the poor maintenance and training of the staff.

Extreme rude behavior by the girls who sits in front desk and I got irritated and left the place. it was costly and not affordable by common people and minimum package starts at 450 Rs per hour and Socks extra 75Rs.I was searching negative stars, with no other option I am giving 1 star.

Hi yesterday I had my sons birthday party in funky monkey and this is the second time we are celebrating in the same funky monkey place cuz it’s the best place my son liked it so much when compared with other playareas and the organiser Aparna was too good and very dedicated in her work in the way she tries to fulfill our needs and made our party the best with no issues..she is the best organiser I have ever met...Thank you so much!!

A place meant for kids should be filled with warmth and positive energy . But that cannot be said about Funkey Monkey. It has a toxic environment where staff are very very ill behaved. I have had this experience each time I have visited. What prompted me to write this review is what happened this time around is unforgivable. And what makes it worse is the attitude of management towards it. Here is what happened. A north eastern lady called Hannah- not sure whether it is her true name, disallowed my 2 year old son from taking a tissue in his pocket. He had runny nose and he usually keeps a wipe handy so that he can clean it . I let it be. Sometime later kids and we were playing in the area where we shoot balls, there was a big lump of cobwebs or god knows what. But something very yucky. I asked this lady to clean it and this is exactly what she says - Mind you own business. I was shocked. I said this is my business and she kept shouting. At this point I do not remember what she said. I immediately walked up to the front desk and spoke to the lady there. She accompanied me to the staff who was still inside the playarea. Well, it is very unfortunate that the staff contuined and yelling like a maniac. I mentioned that has happened every time i come.. Rude Staff . And she says this Shame on you ! Shame on you ! Shame on you ! Yes thrice.I would not talk to any fellow human being this way. And here i am customer. I was in no way properly apologized. Infact i even ended up paying the amount that i was expected to pay. Least I would have expected is -1) An apology call from their end towards me reassuring this will not happen2) Waiving off the chargesAnd yes, my husband was not with me. When he heard of this he went back to talk to the staff but she refused to meet. Another very unprofessional aspect that i cannot miss out. After this incident , a parent comes by and saysThe staff is crying . Not sure what happened . She is coming and complaining about youReally? Parents are being involved too. Dont they know meaning of customer is king .. we just ask for a little deceny here.

This is the worst place . There are no assistants to help. The staff are very rude and disinterested. The items on the menu take half an hour to get prepared. I will never ever go here again. Totally not worth it
