The restaurant is too good for words. The murgh patiyaala is a must to try if your getting naan or rotis. Kizhli parotta was amazing. Tried Their signature dishes semiya biryani, samco spl tandoori chicken and bbq fish all three were scrumptious and a must to try. The desserts were also equally tasty faloodas were loaded with a lot of nuts and fruits. The best restaurant for the most affordable price. Youll never feel the price is too high for the food you pay. They will leave you satisfied 😉

Located very opposite to Phoenix mall in Velachery. Ground floor and first floor both have sitting places. The ambience is good,interior looks clean,staffs are courteous and helpful. Earlier had kizhi parota,paya,biryani..this time tried Samco special bbq and mutton ceylon parota. Food quality is good,but expensive and felt that quantity could have been a bit more. Recommended for visiting once in a while.

Very nice restaurant just opposite to phoenix mall Velachery.The restaurant offers both veg and non veg dishes and they are tasty and nice. The parking space is little less compared to its seating capacity.Looks like they are in this business wire a long time from 196Xs what mentioned over the menu.They serve chicken, mutton and sea foods too and the price is from average to little higher side.Overall it was a good dining we had compared to swiggy order from same restaurant.. their ambience is neat and good.

Amazing Food ! We were more than happy to eat Arabian Chicken Mandi for Dinner. Followed by Fried Fish and lip smacking fried large prawns. Chicken Noodles, Special Parotta is a must try. Finally we concluded with Burj Al Arab Falooda. Yummy and more than delicious food and falooda loaded with dry fruits & Ice Cream. SAMCO Restaurant is located just opposite to Palladium & Pheonix Mall Chennai. Kids enjoyed a lot having Lavish Dinner. The service was very slow when a customer asked why slow the waiter told the restaurant full and he is the only one busing tables. Water was not provided we had to ask 3 time before they provided. If you guys want to sell water bottles this Is not the way open up an bottled water selling agency. Not sure if an manager /owner or regular customer they were providing proper service to him. The food was good (may be cause of hunger as it took ages for them to provide) the biriyani was good and tandoori was also good but there are better spots to get biriyani in an 100 m radius. They also provided bill without tooth pick and mouth freshner. Providing different service to different customer is not a sign of a good restaurant. My first experience with your restaurant and may be the last.

I have visited Velachery branch for the first time. It was Sunday noon and seats were allotted for us instantly. Took our time to order and they took sweet time to deliver dishes. They delivered starters first instead of soup. Nonetheless, everything was awesome. Mutton sheek kebab was good. Kiliparota was very good. Elaneer Pudding was Vera level. Altogether, very good experience.

Almost everything had sweet taste , even pepper barbeque was sweet. We had basa fish, pepper barbeque, ceylon parotta and pepper chicken.Among these only bass fish was ok. Other than that everything else below average. Since everything had a sweet taste we were forced to order pepper chicken with extra spicy to make sure our tongue was alive, only pepper chicken was spicy.Because of good reviews I visited this place, but it proved me wrong. Everything was average. Dont expect too much

Food was just ok. Chicken Ceasar salad is with almost no chicken. Cleanliness not upto mark. Please see the washing area pics. Biriyani (Mutton and Chicken) both are below average. Beware of the Menu card(s). They have many and each have different pricing. Finally the bill would come from a totally different menu card with the maximum pricing.

Its a multicuisine restaurant exact opp to Pheonix Mall at Velachery near Race Course Maduvangarai. Food was ok, service was excellent. They have kids play area (Ball Pool) in the 1st Floor. Seating were comfortable, enough parking lot. A good place for family dining.

One of the oldest restaurant, it is located in mid part of Velachery and exactly opposite to phoenix market City, providing good non-vegetarian food I had tasted tandoori and pepper chicken it was nice. Cost is very high compared to other hotels, and atmospheric was very good, providing best service, at finally want to expenses more money in non-vegetarian food definitely you will try this restaurant.

Every other person in my foodie circle goes Gaga when I say Ive not been to the legendary samco yet.This branch of samco being closer to my work place, I opted samco for lunch.Very easy to locate as it is right opposite to Phoenix and ample space for parking.We were given a warm welcome and chose to be seated in their first floor.Ordered the following,Soups,Hot and chilly chicken | spicy chicken | tomato soup | crab meat soup ( names are not as same as the one in menu )Hot and chilly soup had bright flavours of chicken and green chilli, spicy chicken was very flavourful and soothing,crab meat soup was similar to spicy chicken but had the smell and taste of crab. Also they had heavy flavours of soy sauce. Tomato soup was so yum! Perfectly thick and creamy.Starters,Chilli garlic calamari | spl bbq chicken fullCalamari was Vera level if only they had provided suitable dip for it, otherwise just good.Bbq chicken was good but lacked in flavours and was cooked up lil soggy.Mains,Breads : garlic naan | cheese kulcha | cheese naan | murgh bharta | SPL chicken biriyani | mutton biriyani | fusilli AlfredoSpl chicken biriyani had chicken 65 pieces in it. Not much spicy nor flavourful. Just average. So was the mutton biriyani.The breads were good along with murgh bharta. I had a wondeful experience cherishing the delecious food when i dined at Samco Alwarpet. With that in mind during these lockdown times as we cannot go to the restaurant, i ordered food online from Samco Velachery. This is the first time ordering there and posssibly the last time too. Because i received one of the driest Briyani of all time and i dont know whether it is fresh too. Imagine i had to give it to my child too and decided not to as it might lead to indigestion. The BBQ was good but SAMCO briyani is considered always a delicacy- i think it is when you dine there only. Probably i should stick on with that. No more ordering briyani online from SAMCO Velachery.

Its different taste from the other hotel, but if comes to price Little costly because of the place and ambience. Service is ultimate and its north indian food style hotel, it as play room for the childrens to play. If comes for dishes many varieties are there to select and taste the food. If u wanna try like BBQ variety go for alfun chicken, masala and Cooked with the perfect one. Atlast briyani taste was ultimate, rice and meat cooked perfectly. It was the worst experience I ever had recently. I ordered mutton paya from this restaurant. The cost was reasonable. But the paya was undercooked and it was like really bland. And the payas kuruma was so bad that after eating 2 spoons of paya I had to throw it away. I dont understand.. in a restaurant how can they tell that a dish is best selling and make it without Salt or pepper. And this YouTube food bloggers please dont tell the food is good unless the food is really good.

Samco restaurant is located right in front of the pheonix city mall (Velacheri). Has a small parking space but not too big to accomodate probably more than 5 cars!Ambience was decent though not great. Had decent menu with good dishes on the list. My friend and I ordered chicken corn soup,something in prawns (pepper prawns probably) , barbeque fish( boneless), squid rings, watermelon juice and nothing more :DThe soup was decent, barbeque fish was good n as usual prawns were delicious. Personally I didnt like the squid rings here as I have had the best squid rings at a costal restaurant!As a whole, it was a good experience. They accept cards, cash and what not.

The mutton paya gravy was interesting.The stuffed Ceylon paratha really stuffs you. so do not order for Ceylon paratha and biryani if you do not have many people to share your meal.The buffet is worth every penny!Ambience is good, service is attentive!

We went for a team (35 members) lunch. Taste of the food is good. Service rendered is best, They were enthusiastic and that made us order lot of items. They kept on asking likes of our taste in items servered and looked for improvement. Give a try for items named platters, so you can taste different items. Even it costed less than expected, bill is less than 25k. I would suggest to check-in here to taste food of your like 😊

We went to this restaurant after seeing lot lot of youtubers reviewed the food and gave good reviews. We ordered mutton mandhi, idiyapam n paya, kili parota n crispy chicken lollypop. Ambience n hospitality is very good. When it comes to food, kili parota was excellent n everything else was good but its not the way youtubers gave hype.

Being a sea food fan, I tried Masala Fried prawns here. The taste was awesome, prawns were fresh and juicy. The best prawns I had at Chennai. I tried Appam and Paya too. It was up to the mark as well. The quality of the food is worth the price and the food was served without making me wait.

Had a Nice Dinner, Restaurant is spacious, neat and clean. Serve Food even after 11 pm. Ordered for BBQ chicken and it is superb, we tried the traditional Mutton Kuruma which is different than the normal. Asusual their signature Falooda also best. Happy!

Ordered plate shawarma, alfaham and mixed fried rice. First two dishes were perfect. Prawns in mixed fried rice was hard and unclean. Highlighted this to the waiter, who immediately apologised and bright us a small portion of fried rice with delicious prawns. I appreciated the gesture of the waiter. He did a good job right from the beginning as he was explaining the dishes, suggesting etc. Overall had a pleasant experience. Guess the waiter name is Llama, but not sure.

No Maintenance, poor service. It was good earlier but slowly it is getting worse. Today cockroaches are running all over the place. Food is good but dont know how the kitchen is maintained. Bring your own plates,spoons ... and cockroach killer
