Amazing restaurant for a quick bite if you are in Chennai and want to tuck in at odd day hours. This place is perfect for group bookings as well as individual buffet lunch. Dining arena is quite neat and gives rich feel. Menu is top notch they definitely have some of the best cooks for North Indian dishes in Chennai. They have great combos with and without drink both soft drinks and alcohol. Must try place before leaving for the beach.
We had a really Peaceful dinner, as were able to spend quality along with delicious food. Starters, main course had a great variety and was difficult to decide what not to have. So ended up eating all. Chicken biryani was outstanding, as the chicken was soft and its flavor was all over in biryani. Desserts had really unique stuff which we dont see generally. Like Gajar Halwa, Chandra Kala and mysore pak. These sweets just took our dinner to next level.Overall this is the place for peaceful and quality buffet dinner, where one can enjoy food, ambience along with their loved ones.
Visited this place with my office team for dinner after hearing to some exciting comments from my friends. Since it was an official meeting, instead of the Alchemy pub we settled into the quintessence restaurant and requested them to serve the pub food since the reviews of the buffet wasnt that great. The place is very easy to find, adequate car parking and bike parking provided considering its one of the famous places in Chennai (atleast for the pub). Settled into the place and started off with some drinks which included alcohol. The most frustrating thing about this place is its service. It took them literally 20 mins to serve liquor and even then they forgot to serve my colleague and me. Since we were a group of 15, everybody else had to wait and eventually they ended up brining my drink forgetting my colleagues drink. By now he was feeling restless and didnt bother asking them for the drink. It was on a Saturday and we expected a better service which wasnt to be unfortunately.Coming to the food, we got close to 8 starters that included almost every cuisine they served. Since we had requested for the pub food we were also served from the pub menu. Got some chicken sizzlers, calamari, prawns, fish and some vegetarian starters as well. Since I was sitting next to the non vegetarians wasnt worried much with that the vegetarians had ordered. The bacon wrapped bacon was good, since Im a big fan of bacon I loved this dish but the small disappointment was that most prawns from the starters tasted almost same.Chicken peri peri was spicy, juicy, had enough flavours to be favoured by everyone . Had the right amount of spices which didnt overshadow the chicken taste. The fish tasted good, it was soft and literally melted in our mouths. The spice was fine and subtle . The lamb chops was simply amazing with enough meat , it was simply irresistible. It could have been better if the meat was tender but I couldnt complain since I simply got my hands dirty biting it until the last meat was conquered, the rough meat hadnt bothered me much .Over to the main courses, we ordered chicken fried rice, prawn gravy which was simply delicious, probably my favourite. With pulka it was absolutely amazing. The biriyani was just ok, the meat was tender but lacked flavours big time. The pasta was good initially but as time passed by, when it wasnt hot anymore it started losing its shine.Overall the food was good, the service was very slow and bad. Didnt expect such place to have very less people employed that too on a Saturday night. The manager tried his best to get things moving but he wasnt able to expedite the flow himself.
Its an amazing restaurant. I really loved the ambiance, the food variety, cleanliness, taste of the food. The food here is priced reasonableI personally loved the immaculately well behaved friendly yet professional staffs. Its a 5 start experience for me. I will be visiting and ordering regularly from them.
We actually went to visit sweetsoul Buddha bowls which was in quintessence. They have amazing healthy salads. Well customized also. Very good ambience. Quiet and nice to relax. Comfortable chairs. They also had amazing chia pudding desserts. So yummy and completely guilt free and vegan. All the dishes had calories mentioned, so you can know what you are ordering and how much calories intake is there. It was very convenient. A must for healthy food lovers.
Very friendly staff. The Soulfood Buddha Bowl salads are extremely tasty and the size is quite large. Their Chia seeds puddings are also surprisingly tasty and guilt-free, because it is dairy-free, gluten-free and refined sugar-free. All in all, a very healthy and satisfying dinner. The food and the friendly nature of the staff made me feel compelled to give them this excellent review.
Well only advantage of this place is it is located in t heart of t city. Food quality was pathetic, service worser. Normal dhal which almost all chefs prepare well was also unpalatable. I wish I could give negative stars.
Good food really tasty but less number of varieties in starter... with team we enjoy the food...
Amazing food and ambience. Has really good buffet and a la carte options
Not really happy with the service guys over there. Food is definitely good.
We visited Quintessence on Sunday and were told that they do not have a buffet available on that day. As it was already late we decided to order Ala carte. Food tasted great. Was expecting the portion size to be bit bigger.
Very healthy and good food.. Really liked
Great place to have a quick meal, good food, proper food, any meal!!! The restaurant is a property of RAJ Park, the preparation is good, the variety is good. The staff is very Vella mannered and courteous and helpful and will take care of your requirements as much as they can. Overall I had a great experience here. Specially with the FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER of this place (Mr. Giridharan)
Number of dishes in the buffet is quite less. Even the service was a bit lousy given the number of people present. But I have say the food they served was exceptionally good. Thats what earned the 4 stars.
Ala carte you have good north Indian delicacy. Very decent staff
Good ambience, good food and affordable price to come in as a group... Check for offers while you visit..!
On a Sunday afternoon, entered this place where all the staffs were so welcoming. To start it off they give you a melon welcome drink which tastes and looks so good. The starters are served on the table. Two veg and two non-veg starter. The fish was the highlight of the starters it was fried to perfection and served with an amazing sauce. The chicken was spicy and perfect refreshment to build our appetite.Next up we were showed up to a wide spread of buffet which both veg and non-veg spread. I wanted to taste everything possible in the menu!! It was endless! The mutton gravy and chicken was the best and the curd rice was amazing. I have a weird habit of over eating curd rice in the buffet. The biryani was the only thing I felt could have been better and the manager was courteous enough to take our reviews.Next up was the desserts and again we were spoilt with choices. All the sweets and desserts were amazing from gulab jamun to tarts and cakes. Everything was amazing.Salads were also available. Overall it is more than worth the money we spend. Do visit this place. The ambience was amazing. Will visit this place soon!
We took a buffet for weekend dinner. There was a exquisite welcome drink, then was served 2 veg and non-veg starters on the table. Though the starters were good they were providing a very less options. Even in the main course there wasn’t much of the varieties but still what they served was at its best, so we enjoyed it. There were more varieties in the desserts. The restaurant impressed with the ambiance and service. It’s a little bit overpriced one and recommended to avail it through some offers on nearbuy/dineout/eazydiner.
I have Buddha bowls here. Theyre amazing.
The place had good ambience, the food was good. Good place to party or corporate dining.
NiceHow much cost for non veg?Is Paytm accept?Include or exclude tax?
