A Pure vegetarian restaurant...Ambience is good. Price is bit costly. Name of the menu looks different, you will feel like trying but taste is very normal. Nothing so unusual.The way they plate the food is good.

I have visited this restaurant to enjoy the lunch, ambiance was good. But service is too bad.We ordered some starter and they come after a long time 45min to say that is not available.They finally after another 30 min we got main course and when we ordered extra roti they took another 20 min 😋Overall good taste was good but dont expect service from them. No one there to serve on time.

My second visit recently did not give great satisfaction. It was a lunch. Food was okay. For the price it can be better. Service was good and did ask for repeated servings. Ambience is good. Appears to have lost some sheen.

Here gold dosa is famous in Chennai.where as I got to know that it is only available in dasara.where as I ordered garlic naan and panner curry.garlic naan tasted good but little hard.everything seems to be little expensive but some tastes too good.But the salat isnt that worthy...

Food is very good and they take lot of time to Serve some of the items in the menu where not available. North Indian food was bit average and South Indian was good. Wheat Alwa is a must try desert. And they provide butter milk in a mug so beware.

Good Food with delicious taste and very good ambience and expensive to your pocket. However table service not so much impressive.They are not attending guests requirement and surprisingly it was not crowded.

A local restaurant serving local foods though the claim to be authentic but there is amiss... the prices little and higher side but nothing wrong training your tastebuds ...ordinary Thali special thali have combination of North and South ...well groomed staff are taking care of your needs

KrishnaVillasam, one of the best restaurant in Chennai. We Dine-In here late night with our friend and found this place so good & taste wise they serve amazing food. Their authentic taste of Southindian and Northindia makes me feel so happy. After visiting here, I can say in Southern part of India one can have a taste of Northindian dishes.Simply waaah!! :)

The only thing that keeps this place running is that the food is exceptionally good. I might even see the price is worth it. But the staff is terrible. Inattentive, careless. The washrooms are well designed but maintained terribly. The entire restaurant has been beautifully conceptualised and designed, but run down with poor management. Small things like lack of napkins on the table, dysfunctional salt shakers, having to desperately wave down waiters to get their attention... Together it makes one leave with an irritated feeling despite the good food.

Highly charged for the food offered. Very bad service. Seemed they were interested in customers who ordered meals. We didnt order as we werent that hungry. Broccoli dipped in cream was bad. Not sure if its usually this standard or its only today as others have given it good reviews

Great vegetarian food. Food quality oscillates between ethereal to the mundane.Service levels continues to plateau at disappointing, no surprises there. At the current rate, may not see 2019, sadly. It has the potential to be in the top 50 restaurants in Chennai.

Food was good and affordable. We ordered dosa, idli and medhu vada. Sambar was missing in my takeaway parcel but they were nice enough to send it soon after. But they charged us Rs.50 for containers. However they do not offer delivery but zomato delivery is available.

Ambience is good. Taste is homely can be better. Service is pathetic, you see all employee moving gazed without knowing what to do. No guidance. It is not a good hotel to chose when you are really hungry. if you have time and want to enjoy then it is fun as your every order takes its own time and you have fun with time.If they continue such service, you may soon see them out of business.

Beautiful place with lovely music. Food was a bit overpriced. The waiter was not accommodating. He will be the reason I wont go back to this place again.

This review is not about their food, but about their staff behavior. I had to park my vehicle before their hotel and had to go the neighbor building for an urgent work. 10 mins later their hotel staff was blocking my way and asking for 20 rupees as parking fee and creating ruckus. Dear Hotel staff , for this you can come to road and beg and eat. If your hotel is not doing well, work on it, rather dont steal other money.

I had a poor experience. If they need to be successful, they need to focus on what they were known for. Sadly, my favourite restaurant is no more favourite

Best place for ghee roast and coffee

There are many vegetarian restaurants all around Chennai, but this is easily the best. If you want to o have a full tasty south indian meal this is the go to place. The ambiance is also really good. The hospitality is par with the quality.

This place is been my favourite at all times especially with family. Come and relax with a soothing music and lose yourself in the krishna portraits around you. Worst service ever in this class of restaurants. Even for meals they took more than half an hour to serve. Very poor service even though the crowd was very minimum no person turns up for taking up the order. Each and every time we have to search for the person. Three star rating is for the quality of food particularly meals. Other than meals nothing is worth having here.

The food is average. The service is average. I would have given a rating of 3 but the price is so high that I have to givers ring for value for money. Let me tell you this place does not offer value for money in any way.

Love their South Indian meals. Anyone who loves South Indian meals should definitely try this. Apart from that their other dishes are good but Im not a big fan. The north Indian side dishes are a bit sweet. The ambience is good and service is ok.

The place used to be so good. Finding a slot on weekends was a huge task. But now the quality of food has really come down. Smelly toilets, dim lighting, low quality on food, very poor turn around time for dishes ordered. They should really pull up their socks to be what they were earlier. Until they do that. Going to this restaurant is such a waste of money. Because they dont maintain the standards for the amount they charge for each dish.

Should consider a total change, otherwise better to ramp down. We had worse experience. The waiter behaved as if he was doing us a free service. We were almost ushered out when we ordered desserts, as they werent ready to take orders other than staple lunch on that day.

Was Nearby on an Errand . Had Craving for proper veg meals so my frnd recommended that we will come here for lunch . Reached here at 2 . Its 2:40 still waiting for that meals and for that reason even water hasnt been served . I went for lunch and ordered krishnavilasam sappadu. The taste is not so great. Just palatable.No dishes worth mentioning.Their style of cooking is such that they use coconut a lot, which many may not relish.

Its real authentic south Indian lunch restaurant. Food is good, its worth for the money. They could improve their interiors. I visited this place after 4 years. No change in taste, but could see worn out interiors and service standard had gone down.
