Desi North Indian taste. Decent ambience. I use to order many times but today went for a lunch. We tried many dishes these and liked all Dishes. Both Veg and non veg items are good in taste. Panner tikka was not upto the mark today. Good desert options. Posting all the pics I have which will help to have an idea. Can go as a family or with friends. Thanks and cheers!!

Its a very good place in Chennai for those homefood missing north indians.

This restaurant is located opposite the national siddha institute, Sanatorium. First we were doubtful that its located above a veg restaurant and it appeared so small like a fast food joint. But once we entered, we felt the ambience was good. We have tried out almost all the restaurants in chrompet and wanted to try a new place and ended up here. initially we were worried that we made the wrong decision, but their food proved us wrong. It was really good and worthy of money. Their service was also good, though it takes a bit time, they politely inform us beforehand that it may take 15-20mins. The briyani and chicken is worth the money. The ice creams and milkshakes are not that good. They serve poor quality ice creams that is of not much taste or flavour. Except the desserts, you can buy anything from here. Its a complete north Indian restaurant.

Delicious and good quality food... Quantity is bit less compared to price... North Indian food is famous... Recently shifted from old location to Tambaram sanatorium bus stand... Nice serving and good hygiene... Chinese sezshuan sauce is no tasty...

Great food with reasonably priced menu. Highlight would be freshly prepared food and of good quality. You can order through Swiggy as well.

Place is very cramped.. AC was not available at their 1st floor restaurant.food is not North Indian as the name suggest..went with high hopes of having authentic Punjabi food came out disappointed

I heard this through a friend. I wanted to try their Momos. I had to travel around 51km to reach the place. The first thing I asked them is for their Momos. I ordered chicken wonton and chicken fried Momos+veg boiled Momos. I could not choose which to have first. The taste was awesome. Inspire of being a chicken lover,I liked their veg Momos better. We also had a complimentary wonton soup, which was requires good with the wonton Momos. Then we had chilli prawns for the main course with tandoori roti. The roti proved it as Asli Punjabi restaurant. Though it is a small restaurant, their food tastes great. I loved it. Its worth the distance I traveled.

Food is good for its price.

Momos were not of great taste. Other dished like manchurian and fried rice were good.

This was my first dhaba. So I walked in with a lot of expectation and it turned out to be a good one. Ambience was good. I give a 4 just for the momos they served and the service made it quite loving. For the food ( other than the momos we had ) I would say it wasnt that great considering the price they charged for very less quantity. I would definitely go again there just for the momos !

Well mannered staffs, but late delivery even in dine-in. Trying to match the north Indian taste.

A small but ok place with quite cozy ambience and serene atmosphere. atta tandori roti are available here. nice malai kofta, good lassi. Staff friendly. Price they charge is reasonable. We had malai kofta, shahi panner , roti, lassi and faluda. All of them were moderately good. Car parking can be a problem. It takes quite sometime for the order to be served over table. So beeter to order on phone, or ahead. Staff readily admit mistake if they have committed. Good place to dine for travellers and for north indian food loving fellows. All cards accepted here, NFC payment and paytm facility was not available. It js open till 11PM.

A small place but big boss, less quantity but more taste, light decorations and a sooper place to spend time with our family, service is good and specially for the mamos i regularly visit here.

Good food, fast service yet the starters were short in quantity and the serving way wasnt the best!

First and last time Im probable visiting this one. The service was very bad and the attitude of the service staff were also not pleasant. Even if you can overcome all this the food was not worth it. Cold & Dry Biriyani served without any side dishes (Kuruma), even Tandoori was served without any side dishes. Bad experience. If you got other options, skip this one.

Good quality food with good ambiance

You cant get better than this hotel in tambaram area..loved their service.. if you want to taste a excellent north Indian food then go straight to karan Ka dhaba one of the finest hotel i ever visited

This Restaurant is located exactly near the Tambaram Sanatorium Bus Stand (On the way to Tambaram Side). The Restaurant is not too big but good for a dineout with Family and Friends. I have visited this restaurant many times over the past few years. Place is clean with good ambience and you will have a feel of Punjabi, North Indian Restaurant with cool Hindi songs all the time.Price of the dishes are reasonable and not too expensive like other restaurants in Chennai. The Staffs are good and Chefs are from West Bengal, Orissa.They serve Stuffed/Fried Papad (Aappalam) with Onions and Green Chutney made of Pudina, Coriander Leaves and Green Chilly. Food Preparations are so Delicious and Spicy, Loved it.Punjabi Kadai Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Momos, Paneer Butter Masala, Punjabi Panneer, Palak Paneer, Chicken Lollypops etc must be tried. The best part is their Falooda Which is really at reasonable price and a perfect dessert to finish your Lunch/Dinner.Suggestions:- However their Delivery service, Packaging service should be improved, also the quantity of the food were less when ordered for home delivery. Also, sometimes they put too much oil and masala in the food which makes it much much spicy, they need to change it.
