Best library i love to go there and read ❤️

The reading room is really good and can easily say that only reason why I may have passed many examinations is that the place was open all night. But beware as the place is housefull on exam nights and will have to sit on the ground or outside if do not reach early. Also the tea and matthi outside the room are just a bliss at 4 AM in the morning.

One of the best reading room and a place of worship for most of the students of North India....every time I visit the reading hall whenever go to Panjab University......and recollect the memories of those sleepless nights spent here during struggle time.

The place where an aspirant spent his whole day to get success in life. You can study whole night in the reading hall. A large collection of book and is renowned in the region. You can get previous year question papers of University and semester exams. This is the place where if you get hungry, you can go to Student-centre (aka Stu-C) and have some food, snacks or tea, coffee.

Good library but old type fan are irritating

For serious students first love is AC Joshi Library then Hostel.

In simple words, this place is equal to heaven. I have so many memories from here. I spent golden time of my life. The best thing is 24 hours open library. Students can come for study any time. There is so many facilities for students.

This place has an aura that keeps you motivated and concentrated. At any given time, the place is full of students who love to study. Students from various age groups come here to meditate on their subjects. There are thousands of old books whose fragrance gives a your reading experience a different charm.

A state of art library with almost all the facilities a reader could ask for! It has a centralized ac facility and though it being a government library it doesnt gives one feel of it with the ultra modern furniture put in place.

A.C. Joshi library is the central library of the university, though each department has its own independent library but A. C. Joshi is the common or central one. Its outer section remains open 24*7 except on declared holidays. The library opens at 9:00AM and closes at 10:00PM everyday.

Best place to study alone, but sometimes there is a shortage of place due to large number of students in the university. Also, the best part is no entry for the outsiders.

Firstly its a part of Indias renowned university Punjab university . it was inaugurated by pandit Jawahar All Nehru and since then it is continuously flourishing itself with books in different domains. With a modern infrastructure its system is partially computerized to allow centralized access to student . It also holds a spacious reading hall to accommodate readers, students and scholars to assimilate the books.It is fully ac and well furnished

One of the best library in north India..3 floor library with comfortable sitting arrangement and large storage of book.

The environment inside library is soo peaceful . One feel connected to some external energy which is pushing continuously to be silent to think to explore . Yeah I can say that beautiful is not what is seek by eyes but what is accepted by mind and this place gives you that feel.

This is listed in place of heritage,dont come here at the time of exam because of crowd of university students,book issue system is self ,you feel very good in the books.

The place is best for the book worm.The place is quiet and almost each kind of cousebooks are available.Moreover there is a Reading Room which remains open for 24×7 except national holidays.

The whole library isnt open 24*7.. most of the books have pages missing.. the library is always crowded

Almost every book is available there regarding studies.... one of the place according to my knowledge.....this place helps a lot.... worth going place.....

One of favorable place in panjab University to explore ur-self.

It is amazing and excellent to study at AC JOSHI LIBRARY. the atmosphere is totally cool and silent. You will get amazing books throughout the library with a collection of thousands of books. There is rush at 10:00am, 5pm and during the exams timing but still if you will struggle you will manage to get the seat and a lot more tactics to avail the seat. You can have access from 9:00am to 9:00pm at any days except 2nd Oct, 26th Jan and 15th August.

This is one of best place where you can study .And if you are sitting in the book section do read random books when free.This section offers a wide varity of books .Heaven for PU students who are interested in reading.

This is a very pleasant place to study in with full concentration and dedication💟
