Good Place for concentration for study and work. I love this place and all the facilities provided by Central Government. Totally silent and cool environment. Timing 8am to 8pm. Books Facilities, newspapers all things available here.

All the students who are preparing for something studies here in the peaceful environment along with alot of books available right there in the library.

Library is good, but in the 4th floor the guy who manage the floor is refuses to open the window although there is no AC, its very problematic to study in this warm environment

Its a public library in sector 34, Chandigarh.Members are only allowed.There are alot of space for different kind of rooms or halls like reading room, magazine room, children sections, newspaper section etc.There are alot of kind of books available for reading or issue for home reading.After covid , the timing is changed for a while due to Chandigarh administration rules.Timing from 1 Feb 2021, Opening 10:00 A.M. and closing 6:00 P.M.Only 300 persons allowed inside due to covid. Membership is compalsary for everyone who wants to enter for any reason.Now new rule is added due to covid --Reserve your seat one day before for the next day.--

Well maintained,Booking one day before is over now. You can walk in directly now if you are a member here. You can also apply for membership here from 10a.m. to 1p.m., Monday to Friday.

A well renowned library in Chandigarh. Theres two main government library in Chandigarh. One is in sector 17 and second one is this. Initially around 3-4 years ago, they were allowing person for reading section on showing ID card. But now you must have their library card to go in.

Best place to study. Great number of books with good facilities. One can easily concentrate without getting disturbed.

Best place for study, reading newspaper & magazines. Separate chairs & table for newspaper section , Reserved sofa table for old citizen. Tea, coffee, Chola khulcha, lemon water & fruit always available near. Breakfast & lunch also available near & its behind petrol pump and side side Gurudwara.

Best place in chandigarh for students. People take memories from here as they do from their college life. But just behind library there is a parking... There some people(some so called library students) get drunk in evening and they start teasing girls and they dont even spare boys 😂. But brsides this it is a wonderful place.... Wonderful staff.. Cooperative... I got best people of my life there.

For study, its a great place. Books easily accessible and furthermore eating points are nearby. Facilities improving whenever I came back to this library.

They dont pick up your call after 3.30 when they register for seats next day .. anybody can leave libraray before 3.30 it can be urgent they should rather remove the new rule of reserving seats if they cant put new rule properly ..Ive called 52 times ..

You all know what libraries are.?What you need to know is* Huge sitting capacity.* Huge book store.* rest rooms* Drinking water* enough Charging points* You can carry laptop inside the library* Tea, coffee, food, cigarettes, alcohol whatever you need everything is near by (but dont bring anything to the library).* And the most important thing is you can only enter in the library if you have membership card.✌️

Pretty good,If I talk about fee structure then it is 659 or Something.Your card will be valid for life time xD. + everything is available near by... likeMarket, Guruduwara, Petrol pump.No need to worry at all...I highly recommend you to enroll yourself 🤘😶You wont regret...

The library is well maintained and lots of books are available. There are many activities and workshops which are organised here. You can come here to study, read books and newspaper. Wifi and computers are also available here. One of the best place for every student and learner.

One of the oldest and popular library in tricity. It has 4 floors including basement. Sitting arrangement is not there on the 3rd floor. It is an Air conditioned library but the staff does not switch on the Air conditioners. Fees is six hundred and twenty five rupees. including five hundred as security. Water coolers are on each floors except 3rd floor which is under construction.

Government established library and charges a nominal fee for membership. Its a great place to study and has provision for issuing of books as well.Mostly full during afternoon hours.Only problem is that there is no air conditioner.

Best place in the city for students who wants to study open 8am to 10 pm. Open all days except gazetted holidays.

Good environment to study. Reach as soon as possible to reserve the seat. Sundays here are less crowded.

Its situated near Gurudwara in sector 34 or you can go by Piccadilly mall, quite enough space for reading along with reference section with updated material, latest magazines n newspaper. Best place is reference section coz availability of course related matter and then reading hall.500 membership charge (refundable) plus administrative fees (approx 150).

Since summer is approaching, so request you to install ACs specifically in groundfloor, since there arent many. Last year it was really a bad experience so I hope we wont face the same this year.Thanks

The children section has a lot of books for different age groups.The circulation section for adults also has a lot of books, with separate sections for hindi, Punjabi and Urdu literature. The staff is helpful.

This library is good especially for all those students who are preparing for competitive exams like IAS , HAS , BANKING ,SSC etc because here maximum of the students are preparing for these exams so you can get here good atmosphere for study. The most important thing is hub of institutes for competitive exam is nearby 300 to 400 mts. They charge rs 600 for lifetime membership with refundable amount of rs 500 at the time when you leaving library.

Great environment for studies and a good collection of books . The only downside is that some of the staff, not all but some are not at all cooperative.You have to be a member now to enter the library . The membership costs around 500 rupees and is refundable.
