Yesterday I visited with my family and relatives. DISAPPOINTED due to VERY POOR SERVICE and maintainance. Out of 3 fans in garden behind restaurant 2 were not working. Order of snacks was delivered afer Tea, Coffee and other Soft drinks. No napkins were given. With snacks cutlery was less than guests. Tea and coffee nothing to add sugar had to take without sugar. IN NUTSHELL IF REVIEW COUNT 0 THAN TREAT AS 0.

Our stay at Lakeshore Cottage, Forest Hill Resort was an excellent break from regular mundane life. We stayed in Lake front cottage and the views were just splendid! Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the cottage, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service of the staff. The staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. There were great activities for adults as well kids such as biking, boating, fishing, hiking and excellent opportunities to learn about Golf and Organic Farming. A wonderful mini-vacation indeed! Will definitely visit again with my wife and son.

Amazing place for couples or for families. So serene, peaceful, amazing food, and amazing services. Couldnt be more happier.

Forest Hill resort is good place to hangout but the only thing that they need to work on is there menu. They have limited items in menu.

Overrated. Covid guidelines missing. The place is poorly managed. Untrained staff. I had to leave my table a couple of times to reach out the waiter to place my order. The food quality was just average.Strictly not recommended.

Forest hill resort.. very very poor customer service. Most disgusting customer service i have ever faced. Staff is rude. When asked for Manager, he doesn’t know how to properly respond to any issues.

Great place for Sundays and winters

In-charge, Shaukat Ali made my first experience the last experience as It was a big disappointment after returning from the trail. Poorly organised place.According to Mr. Ali you need to take permission from him if one needs to step off parking area or the restaurant.He doesnt have the courtesy to walk up to the visitor. He calls up and treats as a servant, even do not show up.I was harassed not only once, even at the main entrance I was stopped and wasted my time.I was pushed to think once to call on 100 helpline.I would not like to recommend this property to any one.

Horrible experience, the staff and the waiters are so disrespectful, really have no sense of managing people!An order as simple as 6 coffees couldnt reach to us in an hour! Very disappointing

Worst ever experienced i have faced in my life was at this so called resort. I have seen zero man management. These people are only concerned about taking more and more in only whether people inside are served or not they are least bothered about that even there is no sitting arrangement and waitors are ill mannered who dont know how to behave. If there is any rating in negative i will give that to this place and will never recommend anyone to visit this place.

Forest hill resort has certainly lowered its standards. Their service is very poor. They werent able to provide us with the menu even after asking for it many times and the behavior of the waiters was not something you expect from such a place.

This is good venue for organising functions. Picture theek surroundings and nice view. Only thing is one approach road is through Nayan Gaon and other one is narrow near the venue. So a careful driving is needed to reach here.

Overall the place is very beautiful. The only issue is management which is extremely poor. Staff at manager level and above is too rude in dealing guests. They boast of too much services before booking but have nothing to offer at the time. I think management team should learn some managerial skills and how to talk to guests. Unworthy n manner less staff should be replaced. One of the staff member got rude with one of my colleague when she gave fair rating. They were forcing every one to give good rating rather than working on how to get a good rating.

A must go place for some peaceful day of your life within your schedule of 1 day. There ambience, environment, activities, fresh air, Food, everything are just so much Awesome. You must go their in Second half of the Day to enjoy real experience of amazing views of Day & Night both. Soon gonna take their Membership for some more enjoyment in future.

WORST BEHAVIOR BY THE STAFF. Our group of Bicycle riders from Chandigarh visited the resort but the arrogant gatekeepers denied us entry citing our clothes. In todays age they have such narrow minds where they judge you by your clothes and attire. When asked to talk to some senior staff, the other person came and and told us that we could not go inside and eat in cafe. For such arrogant and judgmental staff, Boycott Forest Hill Resort. Shameful... Act.

Well maintained place with lush green lawns. Although reaching this place is a big project.. located in the interiors doesnt look very safe to travel to at night time..not very ideal for people with walking disabilities..

I went there at holi. And that was a mistake !!! They said theyd offer rain dance and mudpool. Didnt provide anything. The place was a mess in fact. The DJ broke down thrice. Moreover a bottles of water were sold for a hundred rupees. Two girls accompanying us experienced eve teasing. The bouncers did nothing.

Party arrangements and food was good.

I wanted to spend a day only with my wife without any disturbance, ... And so ... I reserved a hut here to celebrate my wifes birthday, we spent a night hear and got complimentary breakfast also.... . we spent a day roaming over the property, talking with each other...which was a nice experience..... However it is little costly... And weather was also not so good in February... But its very near to Chandigarh and so was good for time saving... And was less exhausting for my pregnant better half.

If i describe this resort in one word then it would be simply paradise! Visit this place and you will be amazed that how could they create such a serene,quiet and lush green 100 acre paradise so near to chandigarh!Coming to the staff then i would say they are quiet,humble and helpful!Food quality is great!We stayed in the huts and they are in beautiful place and interior is too good!Only the in room service was missing, you could not order food in rooms and there was no phone in the room,rather than that it is perfect place to celebrate and wind up and get cut off from hustle and bustle of city!Golf cource is the biggest id ever seen and adventure sports adds a plus to the place!A MUST VISIT PLACE!

Not value for money...rooms are just horrible.. moisty smell in rooms and bathrooms, minimum toiletries are not available. Rooms are far from the restaurant, have to walk 5min.. rooms are not çozy.. be aware of ticks in bed.food is good, restaurant ambience is good. staffs are helpful.

Resorts location is beautiful, a delight for the eyes but what makes a vacation memorable is the service offered which is pathetic here. Staff is not cordial and there is a lot of information mismatch within them. We were misinformed about food timings, there was no breakfast buffet. After waiting 15 mins for someone to take an order from table (when we were the only guests available that time for breakfast, time around 10am), we had to call someone for it. He said jo khana hai bta dijiye, we dont have breakfast ka koi written menu, no buffet.... Earlier we were told it was Ala carte......We felt like we are on some dhaba as thats how our order was taken. Poor service. No phone/room service. Tea kettle and related things were only made available upon asking them for the same like 20 times. TV was not working. The message was Your card is deactivated - please recharge. We had to call up everytime from our mobile phones to the manager for activating it but after calling back to back for like 2 hours, we were informed ladka bheja hai dukaan pr recharge karne ke liye, 10-15 mins me ho jaega .... which made us question if this is really a resort/golf club??.......the only thing thats nice is peace being close to nature. Adventurous activities are just okay, nothing of much interest, with least safety.Found this place overpriced **.

Their lights never work. The outside seating arrangement is TERRIBLE after dark. The staff is extremely impolite and uncooperative. The food is fine. It looks abandoned after dark. This place ruined my birthday party because of the lack of electricity and lighting arrangement in our gazebo. I tried to give them a second chance by going there for a dinner again even after such a bad experience, but it was even worse. Definitely not worth travelling through such unpaved roads and unsafe areas. Zero stars to the waiter attending us. 👎🏻

This place is situated at the outskirts of chandigarh, after crossing nayagaaon you will find a huge estate with one of the largest golf course in this region.Restaurant is very stunning. British style interior with exterior sitting as well. Food is good , staff is trained. Alcohol available. Have lot of other activities to do as well.They have accommodation as well.

If you want to visit this resort its better go on your own vehicle as this is a huge place. Road connect the resort from Chandigarh is not in good condition. This place is good for a photoshoot or wedding or family get-together. Rooms were average but basic amenities are available. We were amazed by the scenic beauty. Its well maintained. Overall good stay. Recommend to others.

Place is good. althouh the residential part and the rooms are worst. changed 3 rooms due to unavailability of refrigerator, and dish tv.room service is worst. electricity, water and dish channels were the drawbacks.2-3 times electricity was gone, only free dish channels were working.after 2 bottles of water, it was chatgable that too 75 rs each bottle.no room electric cattle. nothing in room service was available.have to walk 1 km for 1 cup of tea.Place is good for visiting but not for stay. Food was good and place is good choice for open dinner. They should improve huts and their room services. I must say stay at this place was worst ever.

The hotel is very beautifully done up and has acres of sprawling lush green grounds.The room is small but the exteriors are beautiful and aesthetically done.The hotel is very clean, beautiful gardens and delicious food. Staff is courteous.Only negative thing is the approaching road is not good and its in a secluded space. Rooms are 2 kms from the main gate and reception.

Place is very nice. Truly nature place. But cost is very high. This place is good for wedding parties, Sumple Parties, adventure gane also interesting.

It is a nice place for a night or 2. But u need to be well equipped with everything u need cause they dnt really have anything other than bedding in the rooms (of-course attached toilets). There is no in room service or anything like that. The restaurant is about 3 minutes drive away. The best part of this stay is it is in the city yet there is only nature every where around. Relaxing holiday spot.

The resort at periphery of Chandigarh. It is beautiful place for weekend. The resort has a lake and a golf course. Lush green lawn of resort makes its beautiful. Food served here is too good. One can also enjoy off roading at the resort.

They dont provide any in room service neither they seemed much happy to receive guests from ibibo. Zero customer service. Bathrooms were just average could not match the satire of the hotel. Only thing i liked was quality of food. Food was great. But the breakfast included in the package had no menu. It was only ommlette nd a prantha nd a coffee. That was all nothing else was there in the breakfast menu. And the other thing i liked was its ambience. So close to nature nd a peaceful environment Over all i will rate 2.5 out of 5.

We went for a birthday party and we ordered beers and they served us expired beers. After we complained the bartender behaved obnoxiously and rudely. They did not even try to resolve the issue they behaved like they did not care. Poor service and poor management.

The hotel is located at a hill between natures lap. Has excellent view and surroundings. Food is a bit costly but quality of food is outstanding. I will recommend it to both family and couple travellers.
