Great variety of Sweets.! And delicious sweets!Though your mileage may vary... ;)
Bhalle was tasteless, raj kachori was tasteless.Chole bhature was ok ok.Did not enjoy a single bite.Bad experience
Sweets are at par, but fast food is average taste. Not the best for Chole Bature or Samosas..
Great place for family and friends. Prices are reasonable. I liked it more because I saw a handsome guy there with green eyes, who I couldnt get out of my head. Anyways personal feelings apart, my friend and I ordered tomato soup, and I didnt like it so they immediately changed it with some other variety and didnt even charged extra. Service was great. Amazing!!
One of my favourite places for sweet shopping. I like their jalebis, pan gilori sweet . And the best part is they make use of desi ghee only for all sweet and snacks preparation
Every dishes is mindblowing, Jalebi, paneer pakoda, rabdi barfi, visit one time you come again and again,.........
9 rs for 1 golgppaVery costlyPapdi or pani bhi nhi dete 😆
Packaging was great, I bought 4 namkeens , did not like them, may be thier sweets are better/ good
Loved the ambiance of place. The interior is brilliant and decorated with local (desi) theme. The artifacts used are mesmerizing.I tried pakora, and gur ka rasagulla. Loved them. Yumminess overloaded. I tried their special dish and found nothing special about it. Just an average thing which can be found at other restaurants.Im impressed with the interiors however the service is little slow for which the management should take action.
Aweful experience! We went there for a plate each of chhole bhature, and they couldnt even handle that! First off, they try their best to ignore the seated customers. Then They dont offer water, when i went to the counter to ask for some, they gave water in paper 100-ml teacups!! Chana came, like not more than 2 tablespoons, and when we asked for more chana, we were asked to pay extra! All this for 140 bucks a plate!! Which industry can tolerate this level of customer-experience??
Nice place for sweet lover, good desi mithai and quick desi snacks, like Golpapa, chat ,Samosa and pakora.
So we used to visit this place back in early 2000s almost every week for it’s lip smacking chole bhature and samosa chana chat.So to revisit the nostalgia, we visited it now in 2019 to find the place has undergone a big renovation which was delightful. However, as much were longing to have those delicacies melt in our mouth again, all we got was tastelss, hopeless food after a long wait that we hardly were able to even finish. Also, it’s a self service restaurant section on first floor where even for small things like tissue etc. u have to get up on ur own.In short, it has just become an uncha dukaan feeka pakwan
Food Is ok ok.. Too much waiting.. Slow service...
Jst loved the eateries available there
Very slow service, we try channa bhatura, bhatura is so oily, I complaint to owner, he ask saddi te sweets shop hai ji. So please dont try this.
Must try their kesar rasmalai and jalebi
It has good quality sweets and snacks. Located at a good location
Worst service of employees. No one listening and people looks standing in Langar queue
Very very tasty yummy sweets
Vast variety of sweets and Indian tea time snacks
Pathetic service and pathetic staff they dont know how to talk , specially lady who is standing behind the counter , they are just ruining the brand name as well as worst service ever even they dont deserve 1star they deserve - 5.DONT GO THERE SERVICE AND STAFF IS TOO BAD.
Pathetic food quantity and quality
Worst visit. They served stale red velvet pastry. The sponge part was so hard and it cant be chewed. They didnt give the reciept too. They willingly serves stale eatables to the customers
Good crisp jalebis also kachoris for all must try in DESI GHEE.
Too much expensive as compared to quality and service he is offering. I had ordered 100gm moog Dal halwa that costs me Rs 80 and believe me it was pathetic! Not solid but like a curry and tasteless. There are plenty of shops in mohali and nearby that offer awasom street food. Avoid this uchhi dukaan and feeka packwaan. The last thing I didnt like is that he is serving in disposable which feel too cheap and and posing environment hazards.
Horrible chat.expensive and not made well at all
Great taste in everything 😋
I bought dhokla, tikki and samosa today evening.. The quality of food has gone good to worst. Dhokla was having fungus on it and tikki was so hard that had to actually break it.. Chewing it was absolutely not possible. Samosa was still edible. I always buy from Nand sweets, so thought to try Gobind this time... But really disappointed.
Good sweet house in sector 7 locality
Varitey avaliable. All covid precautions taken
Very good taste
It is always really good experience to have samoosa, had one time experience of Lunch with family. hope to visit this place again soon.
I had tried her a chhole puri it was good
Reasonable rates good taste
🌟
We bought two items from the store, a kaju katli and a vanilla sponge cake. The barfi seemed as if it had nothing but sugar in it. The cake tasted good but we discovered that newspaper was placed under the cake instead of butter paper. Newspaper ink is very inferior and dangerous for health. We expect better quality from such a reputed shop.
I purchased Gulab Jamuns on 2 December 2020. The sales representative assured me that the food product being sold is fresh. Upon eating one of them, I vomited and developed diarrhoea symptoms. After investigating, I realised that their gulab jamuns were stale and giving out a foul smell. I advise you to not visit this place. It is very likely that during COVID, they have excess stale stock that theyre trying to offload by compromising consumer health. Such practices only indicate the abysmal quality of other products being offered by them.
One of the only family run sweet shops left in the tricity area. Must go for fresh paneer, samosas, jalebi, paneer pakoras etc. Besides this they have a decent bakery section as well.
The dhokla was good but the bharwa gol gappe were not equivalent to the classic street taste.Little disappointed.
Good clean stuff. Food is pretty decent. Lot of variety. Sweets are amazing recommended for marriage sweets and other functions in homes.Their jalebi is pretty good too and do try their dal barfi.
Quality of sweets and Pakora, Kachori not up to mark. Item missing in order, i visited again after 3 days and the executive there politely provided new item free on complaint.
Its a casual Sweets shop and an average family restaurant. Adequate ambience. Staff is humble and helpful. All their products are made of pure ingredients. They have a huge variety in desserts. Good place for sweet tooth at a reasonable price. Have variety of Indian snacks but the taste is pretty much average. But the sweets are delicious and presentable.
Not fresh item
Quality has gone down from good old days...but it is still a good option for residents of sector 7 chd
Nice shop
Price is bit high but the quality is the finest 👍
Nice.
Bought 20 samosas today for guests but as served at home two three flies came out from the packet of sauce. It was very unpleasant, had to throw it in the dust bin. I request everyone to refrain from the idea of buying stuff from the Gobind Sweets Sector 7 CHANDIGARH
Good place
Fresh and tasty sweets, jalebi, paneer pakoda and affordable price
Very Well maintained, nice and Clean preparations..
They r very old and are known for Good quality sweets.Bit costly though..

Delicious sweets and foods. Im loving this place. Specially pineapple halwa so delicious.
Okay Place !
Good quality sweet, specially jalebi and Samosas
One of the oldest shop in Chandigarh.Staff is nice and polite.Cashequer is excellent to talk with. Seems oldest as since years Iam seeing him their.Sweets and food quality is good. They have restaurant in first floor to dine in.For a good quality food, I ll suggest to visit Gobinds.
Low quality, indoor are fully Suffocated.Harmful product. Please make sure ..you things
Nice
Not good quality sweets as showcased
Good
I have never liked this sweet shop. The salesmen are rude and swindle you out of money for sweets. The neighbouring Nand sweets is a much better option. Gobind sweets has a below average preparation but too much pomp and show in their shop which unfortunately fails to make up for their poor quality of sweets and lack of honest service. They will not let go of any opportunity to cheat you while packing your sweets or while taking your money. The prices are even higher than Gopals, which is the best sweet shop in Chandigarh. I wouldnt mind paying that high price provided I got my moneys worth but their preparation is just average and nothing turns you off than paying 30 bucks extra for a pao of dhokla, which btw is priced at a hefty 280 Rs/Kg. This one salesman sitting on the counter once even asked for my PIN to enter into the swipe machine, on refusing to give it to him he made faces at me which was wierd. I wouldnt recommend you to buy any sweets from here. Try the neighbouring Nand sweets instead.
Gobind sweets is an old traditional sweet shop in Chandigarh, which has now upgraded itself into a Indian fast food restaurant. They still have the traditional mithais but have also added more unorthodox fare to their menu. A neat and clean place it has a good mix of the old and the new. The desi ghee jalebi is especially nice.
Pathetic food
Nice place. Heritage is visible. Older place and have a varieties in different food itmes. Nice place for sweet lovers. Affordable prices. One can easily reach
👍
Famous place among foodies. Good taste of all sweets . Even you can buy cakes for your special day .
Good
Very nice place.. price is average. Great service. Caked food all available
A perfect place for all the eatables. We have had a breakfast of Poori Aalloo subji, which was very delicious.
Nice and economical place.I have visited this place multiple times and always enjoyed the food and experienced the service, helpful and polite nature of the staff. This place is located in inner market of sector 7 chandigarh but lack parking space. You can but sweets and dry fruit gift packs as well.
Excellent place to go to for quality stuff. I always prefer to go to Gobind instead of any other one nearby.
Its a old and famous sweet shop had visited for hot gulab jamun.
Best
Sweets good, not good experience with cake and pastries
Slow service, even when its slow. Waiters use unclean hands to put coriander on finished food. Food otherwise was delicious.
Good place with special sweets with neat and clean arrangment
The best samosas and jalebis in Chandigarh! And a shout-out to their polite and ever smiling staff.
Special gobind thali was very good ,I donot like the staff member the way they treat us ,less cleanliness but our entire journey at the restaurant was very good
Delicious preparationQuality maintained
High quality sweets
The place is nice with a good ambience restaurant and some delectable dessert options. Kulfi Faluda is a must try! Reasonably priced too :)
Just got Samosa and Jalebi from this place. Both were cooked in oil which wasnt palatable. Definitely not recommended. Ruined a perfect rainy evening.
The worst Kachori I have ever had, even the Owner maybe Sardar G is so much ignorant of the quality of his sweets , I complained of the bad oil taste of Kachori but he was like ignore and eat , we have made 1500 Kachori and its just your delution and refused to take the responsibility, I left the same on the table .
Beware of these cheaters. These r habituated to weigh the packing with costly sweet and will always give u less sweet. In this way, u will end up paying 20-30 for d packing or in other words, u may get more than 30 gms sweets while getting it packed.Sometimes the salesmen exclude packing weight when i insist but sometimes not. They r simply cheaters.
Taste was good, you will get approx all the kinds of sweets. If you consider best in class, then this place not totally on upto the mark, but still you considered its once for taste.I personally visited here for jalebi, the taste was good. Its a chandigarh local sweet shop.
Worst behavior of staff and food is just average... Will never visit that place just for the rude and ignorant behavior of staff
Bought jalebi and besan laddu.. both were delicious
Quality sweet shop.
