Terraced garden is well known in Chandigarh. Always adored by residents for its peacefulness and serenityHowever in recent year it has not been the same. Patches of grass are missing here and there.

This is a well-kept garden. For its annual flower festival, the city is well-known. There is a lot of greenery in the garden, as well as several statues and monuments. The parks backside includes a designated parking area that can accommodate 20-30 vehicles. On-site, theres a public restroom.This is a fairly large garden that is very crowded in the evenings. People from the same sector as well as the neighbouring sector enjoy to walk in this garden in the evenings because its quiet and peaceful.

Terraced Gardens in Sec-33 of Chandigarh are Poorly Maintained Gardens by the Administration of the Garden Complex...though a Walking Paradise for the residents of the nearby areas.Martyred Brave Soldiers Monument Stands Tall in the Centre of the Park.Fountains are Non functional.In all a place for physical exercise.

Based on the concept of terrace only..small gardens keep adding one after thw other. Its very beautiful..flowers greenery is refreshing.. chrysanthemum show is held every year which marks as a major attraction for the people around

The back side of this park has a dedicated parking with parking capacity of 20-30 vehicles. There is a public convenience inside the premises.This is a huge garden which is very occupied with people mainly in the evenings. People from the same sector as well as the neighbouring sector prefer this garden for their evening walks.

You can spend time with your family and friends in this garden on weekends have social gatherings small parties by taking your own snacks and foods just chill out have fun.

A nice, peaceful and quiet place. A lot of people come here for morning walks. The grass is green and in season there are a lot of flowers. The fresh air that you get in your lungs in the morning is worth it. You can read a book, work on your laptop, laze around or spend a quiet moment of reflection. For all the above, its a nice place to be.

I recommend this garden for a morning/ evening walk.This a very well maintained park and have tracks for the walkers.There are lot of waste-bins placed all around to avoid littering which is a big problem and we could find that difference there.

Very nice, clean, and green 🌳 garden, well maintained by the authorities responsible. No entry fees or any charges to enter the garden. Regular caretaker for keeping the ground full of flowers and greenery 🌲 everywhere and also benches deployed for people to sit and enjoy the greenery. Proper parking is there for two and four wheelers and wheelchair entrance is there to enter the garden. Every year a Chrysanthemum show is being held in winters and lot of people come here to enjoy cultural shows and to look out for various types of flowers. Nearby market is there where every kind of shop is there like stationery, fast food, confectionery, bank ATMs, etc. All in all lovely ground to go and walk in a fresh environment 🙂

The place to sit n relax with Nature!

This garden is well maintained. I dont know the logic behind the name. People of all age groups can be seen here. Also there is a group attending karate/yoga classes there.

Visited this garden during the flower festival / Guldavdi festival and let me tell you this was one of the best flower show, i have ever witnessed. So many tupe of flowers by different people and the way these were decorated ...it was amazing

Every year in December there is Guldaudi flowers festival at Terraced Garden. Lots of flowers varieties were displayed in the Garden. Best variety wins prizes with commendation certifacates. The garden has a musical fountain and statue in the memories of our soldiers who laid down thier life for our nation. Its a beautiful garden

A good and green garden for small walk, recreational activities and small get together (for most of the year). But comes alive with colour during the annual flower show the chrysanthemum show. It is held in winters every year (most probably february).

Terraced Garden is a beautiful park situated in Sector 33 Chandigarh. It has a piller in centre of it. This Martyars piller has been erected recognize the sacrifices of lives by soldiers of armed force hailing from Chandigarh for nation. Overall a good place to visit. Has good parking space. Lovely place to take a peaceful walk. The garden is clean and well maintained. Unlike many parks in chandigarh, this is not ridden with stray dogs which becomes a havoc in certain cases. I visited with my one year old and she loved to prance around all over the place.

I was a regular here as far i can remember. Since childhood my family and i used to come here for morning walks. Everyday around 5 a.m . Theres a strange nastolgic feeling about this place. Everyday we used to hear the melodies of nature and people doing their morning routine. It was so refreshing and soothing that you can never get over it. The locals know the value and importantace of these gardens. They are literally our fond childhood memories. The night time firefly sighting, that stone play structure, the water show in the evening, the fake mountain in the first park from which we used to roll down, winter flower festival and so on . I cannot explain everything about how they meant a great deal to us. With time they have started to get neglected which is sad. The urbanization and pollution replaced the melodies with honks. After 2009 probably the fireflies werent there anymore which is sad because they dont breed in polluted areas. I wish they could be restored to their original glory days. But, still these parks are waayyy better than most of what we see these days.. theyre still worth. Do visit them . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 😊
