First of all I wanna reply those person who commented here about high court building is very nice, clean, large etc.main thing is high court building doesnt matter small or spend lots of money on building main thing is high court working for public or not if public cant get justice from courts why government spend lots of money on building lots of people waiting for justice from 25 years shame on india rules and regulations .I think indian government should work on justice for public instead of building.l m living in USA ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ.. I love and respect my country and court system nobody waiting here from 25 years like india ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ. Second thing bribe too much in india corrupted officers. We are waiting from 1998 case NO RSA 3921,3922 punjab haryana high court.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court is the common High Court for the Indian states of Punjab and Haryana and the Union Territory of Chandigarh based in Chandigarh. Located in the north of India, 365 meters above the sea-level, on the foot-hills of Shivalik range, is the city beautiful,โ€™Chandigarhโ€˜. It is the capital of two states of the Indian Union, namely, the Punjab and Haryana. Though it is the capital of two states, it belongs to none of them and is a Union Territory Before the partition of India, on August 15, 1947, the areas which are now parts of the Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, some parts of Himachal Pradesh and some areas falling in West Pakistan, formed Punjab. Lahore was its capital. In the partition, Lahore was given to Pakistan. There arose the need to have a new capital for the areas of the Punjab that had fallen to India. In March 1948, the Government of Punjab in consultation with the Government of India approved a 114.59 sq.km. the tract of land at the foot of the Shivalik Hills in Ambala district, as the site for the new capital. Le Corbusier, a well-known, French architect, was chosen to execute the project. Indiaโ€™s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, enthusiastically supported the project and took a sustained interest in its execution. When he visited the project on April 2, 1952, he declared Let this be a new town symbolic of the freedom of India, unfettered by the traditions of the past, an expression of the nationโ€™s faith in the futureโ€ฆ The new capital of Punjab will be christened as Chandigarh โ€“ a name symbolic of the valiant spirit of the Punjabis. Chandigarh is rightly associated with the name of Goddess Chandi -Shakti, or power. Situated at a distance of about 240 kilometers on the north of Delhi on National Highway No.21, it is connected by bus, rail and air. Chandigarh is known all over the world for its being the first planned Asian city. The City is divided into well-planned and defined sectors. Each sector is a separate self-reliant unit, having all the essential amenities, such as school, dispensary, post office, market, etc. The City also boasts of open parks and wide roads. Being the capital of the two states, the administrative headquarters of both the States are also located here. Many people from other parts of India and the world visit it every day to see the architecture of its buildings. Zakir Rose Garden, Rock Garden, and Sukhna Lake are some of the places of interest in the city. It is also the seat of the High Court of the Punjab and Haryana. The High Court is located in Sector 1 of Chandigarh.

Located near Sukhna Lake, this High Court is very well designed. It has maintained its reputation ever since it was created after partition of India before which the jurisdiction was with Lahore High Court ( now in Pakistan).

People comes here when nobody in government hear their problem or grievance. They hired advocate and these advocates charge heavy fees and full advance (only cash). You have no option other than court but here you got only dates and a hope that u got justice. But even u got justice after 10+ years then what is the value for it. You frustrated with this type of indian judiciary system where too much rush of peoples.A judge have to hear 80+ urgent and 80+ routine cases in a day or within 6 hours having tea and lunch break. With this number, how they can do justice with ur case.

Please dont mind anyone, but I am telling what I saw, Mr. Judge Suraj ji did not consult even his fellow judges of the bench and also used to pass orders on his own, he himself questions and himself They only answer and those cases or lawyers who did not like them, they used to pay less attention to them. And what happened to the 2008 Rs 15,00,000 bribery case? If that bribe could not be of Judge Mrs. Nirmaljit Kaur ji, then for whom was it? For Judge Nirmal Yadav or any other judge? Anyone dont know anything yet? All this happens in the High Court, the lawyers scribe in the court sends money to the judge? And decide in its favour, what will the other party do then? And what justice would the same judge do?
