Appointment time doesnt matter...Try reaching between 9:15 - 9:30 because after 9:30 there is long line of cars.Just carry your Learning license, Form 2, Vaccination Certificate, Appointment copy.Collect your token and get your photo done with car or 2 wheeler.Test is easy if rules followed properly. Park is very well maintained. Park is full of trees flowers and greenery. Very birds and beautiful. Must visit for see this place specially for children.

The park is one of different kind. The place is good to teach traffic rules to kids and they can learn riding their cycles here.The traffic police department is doing good job in maintaining it. They used to have driving test here. I got my license from this place only. Before handing over the DL, they showed a movie to make people understand importance of driving rules.

Now need to change its name from children park to impounded vehicle parking area, I Visited today this place after so long, it really hurts to see, what administration has done to this place. More than Hundreds of impounded vehicles dumped here, no maintenance of park. Very bad condition, there is not a single flower in this park. What I can assume from visiting the place, children no longer visits there or allowed there to play or ride their bicycle.a Completely changed for Driving test and impounded vehicle parking.It really hurts. Its a shame that this place has turned to this. Its no longer children traffic park its just traffic park now.

Foremost, all appointments booked before 27th june 2021 are now cancelled. Please be informed about this as no proper info was made available to us. We have to make fresh appointments before visiting traffic park.I appeared & cleared my driving test today. Since theres always a chaos around the process, let me share my experience.Documents to carry - Form 2 & LLThe official working time was 9:30. The traffic park gates opened at 9. We had to park our vehicle in queue & wait.A photographer came & took our snap in front of our vehicle & then we were sent to the control room to collect token/RFID.On my turn, had to flash the RFID, hand over my form to the instructor & begin test when the traffic signal turned green.The reverse parking is to be completed within 3 mins & we must halt for 5 secs on the bridge. All road signs & signals must be followed. The vehicle should not stop anywhere during the test. After completion we have to park our vehicle outside the park and return back to the starting point waiting arena. The results were announced after 30-40 mins. I was given a handwritten slip with unique ID. I have to go to sector 17 RLA office counter 11 to submit the fees & the license would be sent over by post.

This traffic park was designed to provide an understanding of the traffic rules and road signals to the children at an early age. Now Registering and licensing Authority conducts various driving tests and its open is being used for dumping the impounded vehicles and thus spoiling the beauty of the place. People use this place for morning and evening walks also. Because of driving tests the place has gained much importance.

I visit there frequently and one can walk in there but no vehicles allowed..not even bycle to ride there since new camera sensors have been installed there so...one can take their bycle across the park to another one but riding there is not possible. Good for walking for small children to play around. One can even workout but without damaging anything important what related to government.

2 wheeler and 4 wheeler driving license test conducted in this park. Traffic police take one day refresher course for persons whose driving license has been suspended for 3 months. Co-operative police staff, guides well for Traffic rules. Limited canteen facilities.

Usually a place for driving test for Chandigarh license. Good for walking. Proper roads but now a days, impounded vehicles left here which feel like a vehicle dump yard.

Properly not maintained

The place is good but the staff there is very rude and they dont even have an enquiry desk and if you ask something from them they hardy answer . Otherwise the testing ground is good but the staff is not at all cooperative .

This place is nice but the staff behaviour is bad. They dont care about normal peoples. The way they talks like dang! If you ask any question or any queries. They just tell you we dont know, go and ask in sector 17 RLA office.And also 15th April 2021 they dont do any driving test in children traffic park because in traffic signal theres some kind of issue happen. People came at morning 8:30Am only because they just get earlier no. of driving test. All people waited near about 3:00pm & the traffic signal issue didnt resolved so then near about 3:00 - 3:05Pm the main officer came & they give whole crowd next date for driving test...Normal people they waited about 6hours and 30 minutes.I think, children traffic park staff they dont knowthe value of time...I think some government people are lazy in there work field. they dont belong here ...These people are just wasting time & money of normal peoples...And dont forget we the people all tax payers pay annually ₹11.17 lakh crore (₹1,117 trillion).

The gate for entry has been changed. The new location is somewhere around the opposite side of the usual entry.

Place is good but behavior of some staff is very bad.

If you have scheduled a driving test you should visit this place once before the test and walk through the track. you will get a good idea of the various skills that you will be tested for. The signals, the speed breakers, stopping on slope, reversing the car, various traffic signs, sharp u pin bend, etc.it is pretty simple and you should mind the speed limit as mentioned there.

A well maintained park. There is a lot to learn for kids related to traffic rule and rode safeties.Apart from park, various official duties related to vehicle are also discharged there like passing/inspection of vehicles for registration. Driving test for DRIVING license is also carried out here.I went for vehicle registration. The process of registration is very fast and most importantly it is fair. Which is rare in other states. I appreciate Chandigarh Police and officials for their fair and transparent work.You cannot find any agent there and this has become possible due to Chandigarh police. I salute them for their fairness and transparency.If you are coming for registration of vehicle, follow the following steps:1. Go to the personnel sitting on a chair with table outside the park entry, along with your documents.2. Wait for a while, another official will.come and he will take photograph of your vehicle along with you .3. Wait for another few minutes, inspector will come. He will inspect your vehicle and finally sign your prepared document.4. Finally submit the signed document in RTO office. But do not forget to take appointment before going to RTO office.Wait for your RC.

Beautiful place to hangout & play with your children. Only open for children in the morning before 10 AM & in evening after 5 PM. Between 10 AM to 5 PM, Driving test is conducted by RTO. For new learners who are going to give Driving test, first observe the whole driving test road & be normal. At least, observe your first half an hour to the ongoing driving test then participate. Dont panic. I know, in chandigarh to clear Driving test is not so small things. All things are regulated by sensors & cameras, so your minor mistakes will be recorded ( like red light jump, off-road Driving, high speed) and always follow the traffic sign boards that are installed.

The procedure of getting the driving license takes more time than you expect. Come with plenty of time.If you have an appointment, then youre good to go. Just park your vehicle in the queue where everyone has parked. Your photograph will be taken with the vehicle. Now go to the counter and take the token and just wait for your turn.Now coming on to the testing procedure:Its a little strict. Just Drive carefully, Be in the speed limit i.e. 30KMPH, Use Indicators while taking turns and thats all.If you pass youll get a receipt which youll have to show at RLA Sector-17, Chandigarh (Counter No. 11).Kudos, Your license will reach at your address within a month.

The Childrens Traffic Park is part of the Registration and Licensing Authority here, performing a variety of tasks such as two wheeler and four wheeler trials by RLA Chad. If you have any penalty for breaking the traffic rules then you will have to get safety driving certificate from here.

Children traffic park is basically built for taking driving test of learners driver of chandigarh the staff work was slow but thats how almost all government offices work.. near by people also came here for morning walk which is allowed recently. According to news, Chandigarh Administration spent 2 crore in this traffic park to test the driving skills more effectively by installing cameras and sensor to every place.

Long queues but thats demand of tests. Staff helps in management of lines.Very often learners fail to clear driving tests. Quality of tests is not compromised

Procedure to give Regular Driving License Test:1.Book Appointment Online on website of ChdTransport.2.Reach Children Traffic Park on the appointment date.3.Time of appointment does not matters.The appointment is valid for thr whole day.4.Park your vehicle in line.5. Inspector will come and inspect your file.6. A photo of yours with vehicle will be clicked.7. Now go to Computer room to take token.8. Come back and they will install token on your rear view mirrors.9. Test starts.10. After test ends park your vehicle outside children traffic park.11. Wait for 30 mins to get your result.

The place where Registering and licencing authority of Chandigarh take driving tests for cars and two wheelers, its a very big park with roads and lights for training and test purposes. This park teaches about traffic rules, mostly schools used to bring there students here to teach them traffic rules. Fun fact they Also keep impounded vehicles here. So in case your vehicle gets impounded there is chance it can be here🙂
