It is large and beautiful park. You can enjoy a good family time there. Nice place for peaceful sheeting and walking. Not so designed and maintained but although it is a nice place.

Lovely very calm place to enjoy the company of yourselfAt a distance of 4 km from Chandigarh Bus Station, Bougainvillea Park is located in Sector 3 of Chandigarh. It is one of the beautiful parks in Chandigarh.Bougainvillea Park was set up in the year 1976, covering a total area of 20 acres. This garden exhibits 65 distinctive varieties of Bougainvillea shrubs planted over here. These bougainvilleas are shaped in to different forms like an arch, pavilions, a cluster of bowers, and arcades. These thorny shrubs are just right for bonsai type planting. A few flowering trees have also been planted to give colourful effect during the intervening period of bougainvillea flowering time.

A very Nice garden to relax. Well spread garden, peaceful garden adjacent CM House Sector 2 Chandigarh full of Bougainvillea varieties. There is a martyr place in between build in the memories of war heroes. There is a rich variety of floura. Parking and Entry is free.24.03.2021

Another one of Chandigarh’s gems. This park is hidden away from the hustle bustle of the city. It is very very green, and has a ravishing collection of bougainvillea all around. The trees are a sight to behold. In the middle is a war memorial which fits in perfectly with the surroundings. Lovely place!

Beautiful park! Well maintained. Visited after quite some time. So many postcard worthy views, especially right after rain showers! With separate jogging and walking tracks, it’s ideal for workouts. People follow social distancing.

Maybe the maintainance is a little off here. The park is still quite beautiful. It is just near the leisure valley park and a great place for picnics and just chilling.

Been to Bougainvillea park several times before pandemic, but thought of spending a quiet evening without the hustle and bustle and avoiding crowded places.The Park entrance is facing Civil secretariat where the park area starts on the Sukhna Lake road is less crowded except for the daily walkers and inhabitants of the area a lot of greenery during this monsoon season.A beautiful place for a walk or picnic

Very good place to visit. There are memorial monument where we can see all the names and details of all the army man who died while surving our country, also there are a lot of space to play, different sports like football, you can play here, enjoy here, etc

Bougainvillea Garden:Bougainvillea Garden is a beautiful garden covering a total area of 20 acres. The garden blooms with around 65 varieties of the bougainvillea plant. Set up in the year 1976, the garden also hosts an annual bougainvillea show. Walking tracks and paths have been carefully laid across the park so that people can walk or jog.

Nice environment, people use to do exercise and yoga there every morning.

It has a war memorial inside in which the names of Martyr from north india are graved alongwith the detail of the war in which they got martyred. Garden in big. A waste land has been used in a beautiful way. This garden is ok ok as it is maintained properly , also it has not new things for people. A simple garden

Beautiful and serene place.I felt it is really safe and sound at the time of night also, so you can have a good walk after dinner.Here I am uploading pictures of it at the time of nightAt centre they have build a memorial with names engraved of brave martyrs who sacrificed their life for our nation.

Very nic park for walking and runing

I give 3 starts to this park because running track is not in good condition... Even nobody cares about its maintenance. Lots of dogs you can see over there. This place needs to be maintaine properly.

A less known park in Chandigarh dedicated as War memorial. A happening park with kids learning boxing, dancing etc. It is also an ideal place for family picnics.

Bugainvilea garden is first at start of chandigarh from foothill of shivalik hills. It is near chandigarh. secretariat. The garden is not well maintained even though it is in VIP Area. One side of garden touch. MLA hostel and other side touches chief minister house. Landscaping is good and natural location is too good. Walking tracks never maintained by Chandigarh Admin. Lot of dirt you can find in garden. Free parking and public’s restroom there. Today seen lot of people coming from nava grahon

Easily the best, expansive green space in Chandigarh. The war memorial is a great place to offer our thanks to our martyrs. The layout and maintenance of the park is very good. A walk in the park and spending some time here rejuvenates ones soul. Not to be missed if you are in the city.

This park is at walking distance to sukhna lake,rock garden and also it is next to Haryanas chief ministers house. This park offers a beautiful sunset view view. This park also has a mark memorial where name of indian warriors are written who were martyred in different wars. It has a nice seating space also where you can hear beautiful chirping of the birds. This park also has different variety of flowers.This park is really relaxing.

Bougainvillea park, sector 3, two entrance sides, one side is from secretariat udyan path and opposite side is from leisure Valley Park. I visited in September 2020. This garden spreads out in quite a good area, but not very well maintained as it should be. Nice garden to hangout with friends and family. Kids can be brought here to play just off the road and can spend a quality time. Entered from lesiure valley park side and didnt find proper parking for vehicles on this garden side, but can park your vehicles on the leisure Valley Park. Wheelchair ♿ parking and entrance is from the secretariat side. No food outlet is seen.

If you want a noise free pleasant walk then this is very good place for you. It is adjacent to the residence of Chief Minister of Haryana. It is on the same road of the very famous Sunna lake and also The Rock Garden.This park is also famous for its War Memorial which is built with the help of citizen of chandigarh and a good initiative of The Indian Express.
