One of my go to place for great Japanese food, entertaining good friends or family. Always have the freshest ingredients, but of course it comes with a price. Anyway, I still think the place still offer lots of values to customers. Food (9/10)

One of the best sushi places in Jakarta. I like the open kitchen concept, I think it’s very Japanese. The chef himself is Japanese and seems like he knows what a good quality fish smells or looks like. Plates are unique, away from Japanese simplicity but acceptable.

So good we wish we had more!! Choose between 6, 7 or 8 course meal.Top tip: go on Tue/ Fri because that’s when the fresh fishes comeOttoro was so fresh it melts in your mouth, seaweed was so crisp when together with rice and uni, it taste like heaven. We even ordered extra uni and oyster to cap it off. Service was good, should book in advance for certainty of a spot. Definitely not a cheap dinner so save up and then eat up well here to celebrate some hard fought victory :)

First time trying this resto, a bit overpriced, a kind of fusion food. I preferred the original Japanese food.

One of the best places in the city for sushi. Sit at the sushi bar itself for best results, as the private rooms may sometimes get a delay in service. The omakase is varied and creative, and of course delicious. The chef takes a very personal interest in finding out exactly what the customer enjoys. Love the environment: so very simplistic Japanese without being overbearing or too formal.

Service is really bad, it’s sunday afternoon, we’re booking first for 5 people but then there is additional 1 people & 1 baby but they’re not allowed in the room because the PPKM rules, we understood we’re not telling them there will be additional people in advance and we literally begging them just to give us extra 1 chair (but we’re inside the VIP room, and still plenty of space), they’re not giving it to us.And one of the employee said to us, if you’re not okay with this, you can just go to other restaurant in this building, we can booking it for you.And then we’re walking out and move to other 5 star restaurant in the same building, fyi we’renot throwing any bad words or yelling at all.But from this we can see that the service is really bad, all the staff are not welcoming to the customers, I hope the management can fix the issue asap and hopefully will get better in the future.

I ordered chef recommendation Menu last nite. It was my 2nd wedding anniversary. We were having 3 adults.It was A bit disappointing for overall.It is a Great place. Foodie are Good but portions are too small.Service is worse. Much below fine dinning standards.I prepared from 3 months ago.I prepared many things. but...When i came i need to explain everything from the beginning. Waitress don’t know everything what i prepared from 3 months ago.Waitress is not polite and not professional.I remember the waitress name was Sari.Nothing you could expect from her.Lack of preparation for our special dinner.Final one.Chef Matsuda doesn’t respect the customers.I called him when we get started, and he came and do not smile and no words coming from his mouth. He is not welcoming without greeting say hi or anythings.I experienced the worse service ever in this restaurant. Not recommended.Way too expensive for this standards.

This is last year review but i just wanna to get this outta my chest. so went to this place with my friends (had no idea about this place before), we ordered a sashimi, few type of sushis, a wagyu steak, ramen and a dessert. i kid you not, it cost us almost 4mil IDR and what shocked me the most were the portions, they are very very very small. ok thats all.

Prestige was the first impression at the entrance of Senshu. In a nutshell, lunch at Senshu was a perfect experience. Price was stretchy at the upper end, however, I would assume Senshu to be more of a restaurant for those who are less concerned about paying for value. A full comprehensive lunch bento priced between IDR480k to IDR580k doesnt seem to be a deal breaker considering the high-quality serving.

I tried the teppanyaki course and the food tastes okay and the ambience is wonderful. However, the portion is extremely disappointing and one of my family members got a stomachache after eating the course meal here. I am not sure if it was the food here or somewhere else, but we were pretty sure it was due to the food here. Extremely disappointing considering that it costs about Rp. 1.5jt-2jt per person for the teppanyaki course meal. It wasnt like the food was nothing like I had before. It was just mediocre. Id recommend ordering the ala carte menu or finding another place to dine.

Average Japanese food and terrible service for a restaurant in a 5-star hotel in Jakarta. We sat at the Sushi counter and it had a loud/noisy ambient. Didnt feel like it worth it eating there with such expensive prices for average Japanese food.

Worst restaurant ever. staff were ok, but the cook was not nice whatsoever. we brought our kids there around 6yrs old, and the cook didn’t even smile/say hello the whole time. even after our kids happily tried to make a conversation with him. I’ve never met any tepanyaki staff like this before, especially in a 5-star hotel and a very expensive restaurant. food is not good, very small portion and so not worth the price. we only went there to hang out after dinner, but they only had the tepanyaki table, so we sat there. spent 1million for 1 slice of fish, a bowl of regular fried rice, 1salmon teriyaki, 1orange juice. very not recommended.

Lovely place to stay when u are in town with friendly staff. It is located in the heart of Senayan shopping district and within walking distance to the national sports arena.

Only for rich local Indo who dont know the taste of Japanese foods. Two pcs of Teppanyaki Asparagus cost US$28. Guess how much for a total bill.
