Most unprofessional restaurant. Most of the time they dont have anything.. their items are over. Also orders are not followed properly. And on top of it no aplogies also. A decent restaurant will replace your item free of cost if there is any mistake on their part. But udupi doesnt even bother to ask.

Best South Indian food that you could get in Jakarta. Have tried multiple places for South Indian delicacies however this place beats all of them hands down.Opens early in the morning so one can go for breakfast as well. Have tried Masala Dosa, Butter Dosa, Rava Dosa, Uttapam, Mysore Bhajji, Filter Coffee (This is mandate), Followed by certain North Indian starters and dishes as well.Great Service, Friendly Staff.Tips:* Recommended only to eat South Indian, Rest items I personally found below average.* Rava Dosa, Masala Dosa by far the best out of everything I’ve tried and that’s something I always order on my every visit.* LastOne - Filter Coffee to end the Meal :)

We normally come to have dosai which is good but it takes easily 30 mins to get your order even if its a ice tea depite having only 4-5 tables occupied.

Udupi Shree Krishna is the veg restaurant of the 2 restaurants in same place. Both are located in TKC in North Jakarta.The dosa options are just too good. So is Veg Manchow soup. The service is fast and they serve you with smile.One star less, since the manger (Sridhar), doesnt smile at patrons nor does engage in conversations or asking abt service.

This place is hard to find if you are not familiar with the area. It is inside an apartment complex (with several towers) on a ground floor. They have two different restaurants- Shree Krishna (all vegetarian) and Delicious (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian), within the same complex.Nothing fancy in terms of inside decoration or sitting area. Bit cramped and noisy. Food served in traditional steel utensils. Food quality average to above average, depending on what you order.Can get crowded (and noisy) over the weekends.

Good South India food in Jakarta. The menu is fairly exhaustive and the taste of food is good. There is another Udupi (Delicious) in the same complex. Dont look for the exact taste you get in India, but still the tasty food. Look for the tea or coffee. There is also an Indian grocery store in the vicinity in the same complex.

Chicken curry and naan is a MUST. But the service quite slow though

The chutney was flavorful without overpowering.Protip: Order the paper dosa if you have an army to feed and get ready for something the size of a table.Will certainly be back again. Would consider moving to this neighborhood or finding a job in the area just so I can be closer to this restaurant.Cons: They dont have rasgula on the menu, only gulab jamun. If you know where I can find it in Jakarta, let me know.

The mysore masala dosa is a mandatory one to try.Switch on your Google maps to find this one as it is not easily visible from the road.The service is good and I suppose this the only place to find Gadbad icecream in Jakarta.Take the gadbad challenge after your regular meal. Keep scooping down the entire glass of icecream with loads of nuts, fruits and nuts.Happy eating.
