I have to say without any hesitation Caravela is one of the top class restaurants in Goa. The level of hospitality, food quality, guest service is mind blowing. Me and my wife were staying in Taj Fort Aguda but we use to have our lunch and dinner in Caravela Restaurant. Whenever we entered the restaurant, we were treated with warm welcome and ensure we get the sitting view table.I would specially like to Thanks Chef Ansh and his team for the special surprise they gave on my wifes birthday. They specially decorated our table and made cake for us. They made us our day very special. Kudos to the team and all the best for the endeavor

Mt family and I celebrated my birthday at Caravela.It was so special because as a young teen I worked at the Taj for a month during my Christmas holidays and returning to Goa was amazing!Abhiskeks warm hospitality was beautifulChef Francis who has been there for forty years whipped up awesome mouth watering goan food.I ordered the prawns in coriander, we also ordered chorizo, tenderloin and feta salad and avocado 🥑You cant go wrong with the food here ❤️❤️

Awesome place to have a sumptuous and relaxing meal. Beautiful ambience, choose to sit out in the open and watch the ocean or in the comfort of A.C. hall. Elaborately laid buffet or can order from the Ala Carte menu. We opted for the Buffet spread. Well selected menu spread. Delicious food accompanied with excellent service. Great evening.

My husband and I chose to visit the Caravela for Sunday lunch. For one yes as is expected of Taj restaurants, this one too doesnt disappoint from the range, quality and taste of the buffet. But what wed like to highlight is the significantly intentional warm hospitality. Sunil the manager is truly a fabulous example of what it takes to truly make the experience memorable. Each one in the staff were generous with their smiles and in one word Id choose to define our time here as - LOVE.Thank you for making our afternoon one to remember. We will be coming back not just because its Taj but because of the people here.

Good food.... expensive...but worth...

I ordered a glass of cold coffee & I was served in a tall glass on the left. I asked the waiter if thats how a restaurant in Taj hotel serves coffee. Then I ordered 1 more & the restaurant manager came to me & justified the restaurant will soon go for refurbishment.My 2nd serving of cold coffee came with a better presentation. Yes, I deserve good presentation of my drink because Im at the restaurant in a Taj property.Restaurant manager said he takes my review in a constructive manner & I appreciate that. We come to Taj hotels for a good experience & not for mediocre service & free complimentary food. I couldnt pay my bill after even insisting a lot. Would like to mention that the staff is very courteous.I hope this review helps in the crackdown of Chalta hai attitude. Top Indian hotels are known for its hospitality & luxurious experiences.

Had Gone to Fort Aguada and while returning we were searching for a place,where we can get good breakfast. Came across this cafe and the experience I had was simply amazing.the food was delicious, tempting and coffee was absolutely perfect. The icing on cake was the owner of the cafe ,uncles hospitality was so touching and nice,that even though it wasnt our plan to go out for breakfast next day but we did and went to same cafe.Will definitely recommend anyone coming to Goa please do visit Cravela cafe.

Location of the restaurant is simply awesome, lush lawns on one side and beach on other.Tried the buffet on Sunday, since it was June, the guests were mainly Indian and thus the buffet spread was mainly targeted towards Indians; dominance of vegetarian food and relatively limited options in meats- only one non veg salad and no sign of pork or beef dishes. Mocktails included with buffet was limited to buttermilk !The food was generally tasty and service was good.With few more meat dishes and drinks options included with in the buffet price , surely could get rated 5 star.

Their ambience is 5 star. My 3 star rating is just for their buffet. If I would have taken a la carte then I would have given 5 star.We took our buffet lunch there. Google doesnt show that it is open for lunch but it is open for lunch. You can call to Taj Village and get your booking done. They have very beautiful ambience. This restaurant is just near sea beach. You can enjoy the beauty of beach. We didnt like few things about buffet only. They have just 1 non veg starter and 1 veg starter. Ideally for any buffet with 1500 rupees plus taxes, you can expect minimum 2-3 starters for non-veg. Their second issue is with service timing if you have taken buffet. We asked for butter nan and we got it after 15 minutes. We observed that those who ordered a la carte were getting the order in time. I suggest not to take buffet over there. We were not satisfied with our lunch.

I have been out for a meal for the1st time since March and we chose to go to Caravela for dinner. I felt very safe going there as the covid procedures were followed very well... I would like to say a special thank you to Sunil for being so attentive to our needs, he looked after our guests with a smile and no bother at all.

It was really a memorable experience at Caravela with its delicious cuisine, specially I cant forget the Amazing Thai Curry and the Capsicum Halwa for the desserts which was indeed innovative.A special thanks to Mr. Sunil Dharwadkar and all the hospitable staff of caravela👍👍

We went here for our special day celebration in order to have something amidst the grandness of The TAJ but got harshly disappointed. We went out for vegetarian buffet dinner. The ambience is very normal and you can get similar or better ambience for a much lesser price. Apart from this the food had very less variety all with a very bad taste. On the outer sitting there were normal wooden tables and nothing was there that surprised us, on the inner side it was too hot and even the AC were not working. Coming to TAJ and feeling hot and sweating is not someone would prefer with a whooping price.1 star is only for the ok ok dessert section and the courteous staff.

Celebrated the 70th Birthday for a set of twins at Caravela... the restaurant was beautiful and well looked after, the welcome was warm and inviting by Johith and the service was done very genuinely. Overall I could see the staff looking after all the guests very promptly however I would like to mention Sunil who looked after us flawlessly, and made sure to make the occasion grand... special shout out to the kitchen for the excellent food and the chef at the chaat live counter ... Thank you to the wonderful team at Caravela.

We visited the restaurant Caravela with our kid. The service was excellent and food was scrumptious. Restaurant host Sunil Dharwadkar took care of all our needs and made us feel very welcome.Wonderful ambience, touching the sea shore , beautiful view.I liked the surrounding area, for the 1st time Id seen coconut trees wrapped with a safety net to avoid dropped objects...Great place for a dine out.....bon appetite!!!!!!!
