My favourite Value Village in the city! It is always clean and well organized, especially the book and CD section. Staff here are always friendly and chatty at the checkout! I have found many of my best thrifts at this location.

This store is literally impossible to navigate due to the high volume of privileged, predominately white uni alumni who love to take up space and have disregard for anyone else but themselves. I left empty-handed which is rare, feeling slightly annoyed and vowing never to return to this location. Not to mention their dresses are $18 and very dated.

I was looking for work pants, something very inexpensive. Ended up finding a DVD that I thought would never be around again. Good finds

Good selection not crowed good flow through store no chaos.. need faster cashier so keep the lines down and so many pages on phone between customers but overall no complaints signs visible on windows as well.

Always a great store for thrifting. Great location, lots of parking, good selection of goods. Lots of staff on duty.

Small but clean thrift store. Small book section but have found some treasures there. Good parking. Easy access.

Store is big with loads of choices. Well organised and stocked by a friendly staff.I must admit I felt the prices could be lower, however I have never thrift shopped before.

Its nice to have a place to drop off donations.

This value village is great. The selection and prices are reasonable. The store is kept clean and tidy. The floor staff, customer service staff, and supervisor on staff were all friendly and helpful- knowledgeable about the inventory and happy to help out in any way. The staff member taking donations was dressed appropriately and eager to help & offer me a coupon which I used inside later. All staff following Covid protocol and store clearly marked with appropriate signs and I saw sanitation protocols followed properly.

They keep it fresh daily. Sometimes you get a steal other times regular.What I love most is it’s a neat shopping space and the customer service is amazingThe accept returns and all you need to do is come with your receipt. Mine was quite faint because water spilled on it. Everything other than clothing seem to be final sale now. There may be a line on weekends or busy times. Be careful of stains / cracks etc before you purchase!! They sell many things as is so you dont know if electronics or batter operated toys or lamps etc work.Bring your own bags as they charge for bags.

Store has a good selection and decent prices on most items and I usually have a pleasant time while being there. However today I encountered a very rude employee, she repeatedly got too close to me in the isles, and didnt say excuse me or anything. By the time I went to checkout she was on till and was just very rude and short with me. Asked how she was fine, said I liked her necklace ya, got it from here - she did not say hello to me, inquire about my day (the typical and how are you?). Nothing is more annoying than being polite to someone and then theyre just rude to you. I would suggest that she shouldnt be on till if she cant be nice to people. Did not catch her name but I have clerk # 002020.

A great location! They have definitely made changes to the sales floor to make things more organized. The layout is intuitive and their selection is usually pretty amazing too! The only reason this is a four star review is the prices on some items... I found a sweater for 50$ and a few other things I definitely would have purchased, if not for the outrageous price. I shop thrift for amazing deals, which VV seems to have lost sight of.

Best VV in town! Where all the suburbs drop off their old clothes, always find brand names and good condition clothes.

This location was very clean and organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. The store had all the standard COVID 19 measures to keep everyone safe in the store. Just wish people would understand what direction arrows meant.

Many treasures to be found hiding in second hand stores! Watch the pricing thou as Ive found several times an item priced too high in comparison to another very similar item of the same quality & condition priced fairly. I think the pricing system should be straight across the board to make sense out of the old saying & you get what you pay for. Staff at this location are always very helpful & friendly!

This is a good thrift store in a good location but I wasnt overwhelmed by the selection this time around. Of course that always changes. Thrift stores are partly a product of the community theyre in and the people who frequent them so I suspect this is a great location but you have to visit regularly.

I got a very nice desk that was for free but other than that, V.V seems to have the highest prices of all the second hand stores.

No change room, and exchange only for returns makes for a difficult shopping experience.

Items are very over priced! I could get a brand new dress for the same price as the ones they sell here. Very disappointing!! Also, all of the young female cashiers wear too much make up, your going to work not a night out with friends ladys!

The prices are getting a bit ridiculous. I could probably buy new for the same price.And the fitting rooms at VV are gone. As a plus size woman, its hard to shop for clothes without being able to try them on, so Ill just go somewhere else with my money

Nice place. Everyone is really helpful and friendly. Just wish it was a little more organized, but the starr do the best they can.

The staff are very helpful and you can get some really good finds at awesome prices , but it can be a little busy in there . Its best to plan when you go there ( unpopular times ) to avoid it being crowded.

It’s ok… they’ve jacked their prices recently so it’s not much of a saving. For a little more you can buy the stuff new. Plus they’re for profit and don’t donate to charity like the other thrift stores do.

The selection is low, damaged or unwearable.. Such and personalized items or old uniforms, faded, worn out, already has holes or parts missing.The prices are extremely high and in some cases, more expensive than at the original store it came from... Such a an item that had a dollarama sticker on it and was priced at $7.99...

VV is always a blast to check out. In this case we were shopping for Halloween costumes. You should check out their amazing selection. Theres usually something youll love and fyi: they carry new as well as used items. Happy shopping!!

The store has very cool items and you have to search to find something worth while but it is managed very poorly is over priced for the majority of items and is not clean. Worth a shop through but not highly recommended due to the short falls.

Four stars because theres no cash refunds only in store credit and I NEVER shop here. I bought a few pants and I dont fit them, not much of a selection for my taste and style unfortunately. I may just put the credit on my friends account and she can give me cash.

So much better than the other Value Villages throughout the city. This one is tidy, organized, and spacious. Its a bit of a drive for myself, but worth the commute

The best Value Villiage in Calgary. Bar absolutely none! The reason is its in a wealthier area of town and is the only thrift shop in the area. This makes for good donations and good items to buy. Id rank it tied for 2nd in all of Western Canada after only the St. Albert location and tied with Sherwood Park. Worth your time!

Fun little shopping outing as usual. You need to go often if your mens waist 32 as it is slim pickings.

O 👏 ver 👏 priced 👏I go here sometimes just to walk around and laugh at how much theyre asking for some items. I swear its cheaper to just buy new clothes than to shop here.

Too expensive. I can remember when Value Village was a great place to buy used clothes for people on a very low income. Now theyre run by a for-profit, American corporation. People donate clothes to charity, the charity sells them to Value Village, Value Village sells them for profit at inflated prices. Who loses? The people who need the items the most of course.

I like it that they email me of upcoming sales

Its a place to find buried treasure. The only downside is not getting a refund or store credit. You always have to exchange for something else.
