Its my first time to this place. I was accompanying a friend to buy a used walker for another friend who needs it. Managed to buy a good used walker at a great price. Lots of various used items, furniture, clothing etc at a reasonable and affordable prices. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Clothing section is pretty lacking. Anything thats worth buying is in their boutique section and is marked way up. MCC in Lethbridge is WAY better for prices and has so much stock compared to this one. Also the greeter didnt say so much as hello, even after I did. Wont be back.

This is one of the most affordable/reasonably priced thrift stores Ive been to, and they have a wide variety of things. From $3 jeans and pants in both the mens and womens sections, to frequent blue tag sale prices, this is sure to fit everyones budget. The bigger stuff like heavy coats/jackets are pricier, but usually aptly so. they often have brand new things as well, and still very affordable, so I would definitely recommend!

Not happy! Ive been here several times now and at first i kind of liked the place. Had some good books. But every time i have always carried a backpack in there. And today i went in there to browse their books and on the way in, a lady said she has to take my backpack. I could see the way she looked at me after she saw i am an aboriginal. I do understand they have a policy in place for bigger bags, BUT as i was looking around i noticed at least 3 other people with backpacks or a large bag. This just ruined my experience with them. I wont be going back after how rude that lady was. She was an older lady with glasses and short light brown hair. Not Happy. I would never in my life steal something!!! Ever. Not Cool. I do not recommend shopping here. Staff is rude.

This is my favourite thrift store. Every week, they have extra discounts for certain tagged items. The items they have are remarkable, Ive found many treasures from there. I always make sure I come around November for Christmas decor- Ive gotten Nativity sets still in boxes for $10 a couple of times. They have a nice selection of fabric also, great for projects when on a budget.

This place is one of my favorite thrift stores. Over the years have purchased many items including furniture pieces that we still have. Of course must check out Christmas decorations is a must and always purchase a thing or two. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Recommend to everyone to check out.

Best Hit & Miss thrift store in Calgary. By Hit & Miss I mean, come here often enough and you just might find something awesome. But things are so cheap dont be surprised if you get a miss here and there. Some of my favorite items I own I found at MCC Thrift store. I also donate stuff to them. MCC Thrift is the least greedy thrift store of them all (if you want another hit & miss cheap thrift store check out WINS on 36st SE & 25 Ave)

I cant believe I have never stepped foot in this place. Its incredible!! Skip salvation army, skip valu village and do yourself a favor and go here. You will not be disappointed, proces are incredibly low, super friendly staff and amazingly organized. I will be stopping by once a month. What a great birthday present to myself!!!

Last week I was over charged accidentally and they were more than happy to give me a store credit. I always find treasures in here.

Great thrift store. Super clean and very nice and helpful staff. This is my favourite place to shop second hand in the city. Their prices are unbeatable $2.50-4 for each piece of clothing. They also get lots of furniture and house wares. Scores brand new dining chairs for $8 each. If you donate you get a 10% off coupon and on Wednesdays the whole store is on sale.

Despite being 6months pregnant and with a breathing problem, this place force masked my toddler and my pregnant self. Even with an exemption from my doctor they chanted the mantra; “No mask no entry, No mask no entry, No mask no entry” like as if I was a sick diseased person even though I didn’t have a fever or cough. They spewed hatred and disgust onto me like I was a crippled leper. The look in their eyes was so horrible like they were taking pleasure in making me utterly uncomfortable thus harming my unborn child! I felt utterly discriminated and violated for going out to get my baby and children some clothes. This place is completely unethical and violates my human rights on all counts! I will be reporting this to the Human Rights Commission and won’t be coming here again!!

This has got to be one of my favourite thrift stores in Calgary. The staff are friendly and helpful. They also have not gone crazy with their prices yet like most of the others. I love the selection that they have from furniture to crockery, to wool/patterns and clothing. They have a great selection of books, very well organized. I would recommend anyone to go there. I do know that they have sale days, but I dont know when they are. Its probably best to check with them!

Proper thrift store prices. Much more reasonable than the large chains (Goodwill, Value Village, etc...) The staff were very friendly, and the store was really clean. Would absolutely come back here. Also, its deceptively large! I didnt realize upon first seeing the building, how far back it goes. Could easily have spent an hour or two here.

Nice place to do some quality shopping. Make sure you have enough time to scan things. I personally liked the kitchenware (non stick pans to ceramic plates). They also have nice collection of furniture. Wish they had more branches.

This is what a thrift shop is supposed to be. Plentiful, organized, good turn over of product, no overly inflated prices, amazing weekly deals, and budget friendly. Best thrift store in Calgary, hands down.

Love this store. Always find something great. Steals! Some prices are a little bit eyebrow raising others are too good to pass. Nice staff but cashiers could be friendlier. They seem to have bad attitudes.

The staff is friendly, selection is tremendous and you can find high quality items. It seems that the staff puts a lot of time into curating the goods as most of the stuff that makes it to the floor is high quality. Whether youre looking for an antique piece to complete the look in your living room or simply some childrens clothing, MCC Thrift store probably has it!

This is one of my favorite thrift stores in the city. They always have decent furniture, lots of dishes and lots of clothes. Its clean, efficiently laid out and doesnt smell bad. The staff are always friendly and helpful if you have any questions.

Great place to find little treasures!

I was surprised at how low the prices were, since Goodwill, Value Village, and Salvation price their items high. This store is definitely one to go to! This is what a thrift store should be.

I love this place very much. I donated my stuffs to this place instead of the Value v.. or Good w..People who work here are nice and friendly.

Pros: Friendly staff, nice changing rooms, incredibly fair prices (on non-boutique items, although even their boutique is less outrageous than at other stores like Goodwill). I got a ton of clothing there and everything was 2-3 dollars.Cons: selection is smaller than other thrift stores. BUT this could be a pro as well because it makes the thrifting experience less overwhelming.Overall I love this store and will definitely go back!

I just love this store! It is very clean and organized. The volunteers are committed to restoring, reusing, or redirecting items so there is little waste...something our consuming culture needs more of. I love this thrift store. While its not a large one it definitely has a great variety of items. The staff are friendly and the furniture department is always willing to help out 100%. They were great today helping to take apart a desk for us and load it.

I honestly had an exciting feeling while shopping here lol . The prices are good . Like 3 -6 $ range and the brand name worthy clothes are set at a bit higher price given they are nicer clothes . At an 8 $ range. The clothes are nice . Period . Someone knows their clothing and todays styles . A good place to shop other than value village . I approve this message :) im going back today actually. And p.s not to much for the men section but they have a good amount to choose from and good clothing too ! They have calgary flame items !

It looks nicer and bigger after renovation. Better organization. Easily find what we are looking for today. Wish our next visit will find more newly donated items.

A gem of a thriftstore. I always feel good about shopping here, knowing Im not supporting a big corporation that pockets money made from sales of secondhand items. Always good prices and interesting selection. When you donate, you can ask for a discount card. On Wednesdays, they give additional discounts.

I have been coming to MCC Thrift for about 10 years and sometimes I find great deals but lately they have been grosley overpricing items in the epidemic of well just charge what eBay charges! Well eBay also offers a money back guarentee and shipping to my door. EBay has Paypal which offers an even better money back guarentee.If you have thrift in the name of your store you owe it to everyone not to sell out.

This thrift store is great because of good price and very unique items! If you are looking for heirloom like furniture, decors and other stuff this is the thrift store to go to! I recently found here a steel tree that I am now using as a jewelry holder. Its very vintage.Their Christmas decorations are now out and Im just stopping myself to go there so I wont buy tons!Staff are so friendly :DThe best thing is the proceeds help out people all over the world!

This thrift store has an extensive section of glassware & kitchenware, carrying things you wont find in others, such as punch bowls. The office section is pretty good and the craft section is large. Toys go quickly so they are hit and miss. Seasonal displays are good. Additionally, the store carries furniture, lamps, sporting goods, art, costume jewelry, bedding, kids clothing, adult clothing, and books.

Personally, I liked this store better before the renovation, but I do still find the ocassional cool item here, and it is usually priced fairly. They do a decent job of maintaining their store. I will continue to shop here.

Great staff. Awesome finds. If you dig deep you can find some exceptional treasures. I once found an incredible Bejeweled jacket that helped with my Freddy Mercury Halloween outfit. There are also lots of electronics and clothings and knick knacks . Dig deep. And say hi to the staff. Once a month they have a discount day.

It has a very strong thrift store smell. No staff around to answer questions. The quality of products is pretty low and a very small selection. The prices are lower than the other thrift stores around.

Great prices and a good selection of interesting furniture

WOW this place has gotten outrageously expensive. On top of that they hide damages by putting price stickers over-top of the damage, what a scam. They sold me a bottle that was so damaged it was leaking what ever liquid you put in it and it cost $10..... its unbelievable. When I tried returning it they said it should be used as decoration, not as its meant to be uses - to hold liquids, if the damage was at least disclosed it would have been fine. Very disappointing.

Everyone is very nice here. Prices are very reasonable, better than value village. And if something sits too long they lower the price and its a steal.

Nice store, prices are a little expensive but you can find some good deals.I only rated it 1 star as I find the older staff members extremely rude and bossy. They really have a negative attitude and seem really unhappy with what they do. I have a suggestion to them, if you dont like your job then quit. Most of these grandmothers have been around for years and its a shame that management hasnt done anything about this. Personally I wouldnt give them a mop job.

They have some really interesting things at their store, i dont go their much, prefer to go to Value Village. I like variety this store has limited.

Ive been here only twice and each time we had to leave and walk a lengthy distance to use the bathroom from the A&W. I have issues with walking (skin condition affects my feet) and my daughter has bladder control issues (needs to pee NOW).There is no public washroom and this is stated in a sign as you walk in to the shop. Why? You can easily spend more than an hour in this shop; longer than you do in, say, a fast food restaurant--yet no washroom access. Im genuinely curious why there would be no washroom for patrons? Its wheelchair accessible; they are otherwise fairly accommodating from what I can tell. The staff are friendly and my kids love to come... But I cant come back; not with my daughter. Sad.

Hmmm well its a blast to the past. If I frequented this store more often Im sure I could find the matching early 90s windbreaker suits my family had us wear on vacations.I bought a book that was tagged $2, when I brought it to the till they charged me $0.50. That was cool!

Store is clean and orderly, staff are (for the most part) friendly and efficient. Most importantly, prices are darn near unbeatable, particularly for furniture. I have noticed their prices sloely going up though, so pop in and take a peek before its too late.

Newly renovated with a much larger area for second hand items which are all very nicely organized and labeled. Lots of furniture.A recent visit left a terrible taste. The cashier could not have been more of a grump towards me. She responded to my thanks, have a good day with a grunt. Very disappointed.
