Very unique experience! The “reception” area is not like the ordinary. The interior is so calming and unlike the usual rooms with doors, there are individual “tents” instead. The service was exceptional; they took the time to explain/discuss with me in detail and offered me a hot towel for my hands. There are massage chairs inside too!

This review is longgg overdue, the staff at this spa are AMAZING!i had purchased a gift certificate for a birthday and because of the time it was placed the order was missed. When i reached out, they were able to have the gift certificate ready and delivered to me personally all the way in the NW! they went above and beyond for me and i was able to include the certificate in the gift as i had wanted. the location and spa itself is beautiful, i cannot wait to go in for a massage!

I did a relaxation massage at Exige a few days ago and I totally recommend it. The reception was nice and welcoming, and Alyssa, my masseuse , was a pro. But what made the experience even more enjoyable was the little add-on perks such as hot towels and face massage. It was probably a little more expensive than a regular place, but I think it was worth it.

Leigh is the most amazing lady at this place... remembered me even though its been two years since being there... talk about attention to detail! Extended happy hour on Friday is awesome, worth going to!

Given the price point of services, my expectations were high. I was expecting the best foot massage of my life, but instead I left feeling very disappointed. I would not recommend and will not return. I requested a light pressure relaxing foot massage and received a therapeutic deep pressure massage which left my feet sore for 3 weeks. I did not care for the open air environment which discourages open communication. I appreciate the front staff, Heather, was very friendly and welcoming. Suggestions: masseuse should check in with their clients during the massage, clearly communicate details of where to park for validation ahead of the appointment, and include a booking confirmation link clients can click through to confirm their appointments so we dont receive 6 different emails and text message reminders.

I did the junior therapist session, 60 minutes for 60$. It was absolutely exquisite. I love how they ask you what areas of the body they should focus on at the beginning and they have many free add ins like aromatherapy or hot rocks. I had Lily and she is so talented and graceful. I have had other massages and they are too rough or they talk too much, so this for more was shockingly amazing, totally different in the best way. The other reviews are right, the atmosphere is the most calming and peaceful and it smelled so good.

I have been coming here for years: since Exige opened. Last few massages I had here, in this past year were with April. She consulted and listened to my needs, asked me questioned and gave me wonderful suggestions to help with my issue.. I have a few different message therapists over the years and they have all been excellent. Heather at the front desk is lovely as always. This place has always been top notch: they know how to be in service and provide a stress free experience. Isnt this partly why we get massages? We have enough stress in the world right now , and I know when I come here my experience is always stress free. I have referred many people here and everyone comes back to me saying Amanda and her team simply are the best. Keep up the high level of service standards :D. Every time I visit I feel like Im on a mini vacay from the exotic tropical feel of the space. The prices are so reasonable with all the no charge add ons. Highly highly recommend. :D

I love how clean they are. When I got there, I had to remove my shoes and they gave me booties to wear (I think all places should do that. If they want you to remove your shoes, they should provide booties for you to wear). I had warm cloth for my hands, etc.My therapist was Alyssa. She was really good! Perfect pressure. Ive been here multiple times for therapeutic body massages and each time has been a wonderful experience - Eric is amazing, along with the entire team that Ive dealt with during booking and checking in. The no-cost add ons, like hot towel, cupping, hot stones, etc. is such a great thing to offer guests and unique to this place only.What I want to highlight is the intra-oral/facial massage that I had with Dr. Amanda. She is very knowledgable and provided the absolute best massage Ive ever had. I have TMJ in my jaw and experience pain with the muscles in that area for many years. Ive had intra-oral massages before, but its honestly very difficult to find therapists who will do them. Dr. Amanda made me feel very comfortable, kindly explained why Im feeling discomfort and provided me with immense relief at the end of the massage. Even if you dont experience tightness in your jaw like I do, getting this type of massage by her would also help to alleviate migraines or headaches since there is so many muscles in the face alone. Many people would benefit from getting this done and there is no better place in the city who will provide high quality service such as this place.The staff here are all extremely professional and the overall decor and atmosphere is so relaxing. I highly recommend going to Exige!

Fantastic experience at Exige. I had a 90 minute massage combining deep tissue with Thai yoga, and Anh was a wonderful therapist. Great pressure and skill in working out all of my knots. My hubby randomly bought me a gift card to Exige so I went for a massage. I liked the atmosphere a lot, its very calm and relaxing. Eric the masseuse was super talented! I personally like firm pressure, and usually get massages because Im hurting somewhere rather than for relaxation. It was a perfect combination of both. If youre sore and need help, hes your guy. They also offer a ton of really awesome FREE extras like hot towels, hot stones, aromatherapy, cupping, and more. Will be back, definitely recommend.

Had a 90 minute massage yesterday with RMT Anh. The environment was very calming & Anh’s pressure was on point. She really focused on all the troubled locations. Best parts were: the facial, scalp massage and upper back massage. Will return for sure!

Amazing deep tissue massage with Anh. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with a warm towel and slippers. If you are looking for a full hour deep tissue massage, this is the place to go. Hot stone, warm towels, cupping, and much more. I have been to many massage clinics and therapists and this is the best place in Calgary. Anh listens very well to your concerns and applies the right amount of pressure. Her technique is wonderful and finds out where your troubled areas are and works hard at relieving tension in that area. I will be going back many more times as the service and quality of massage is exceptional.

Im a picky person for massaging... This place has exceeded my expectations. I tried 2 different therapists. Both were very good. I like a very defined and detailed massage and I like it very deep. They were able to deliver without any problems.They also have a neat feature where they get you to fill out a card showing where your trouble spots are or the spots that you want them to focus on. They also sit with you before and after the massage to discuss what you want and and to review the service.I would strongly recommend EXIGE, they make you feel very safe, and relexed. The spa experience is really nice.My only complaint is finding the spa, it is inside the building on the main floor. It does not have a front entrance to the street (go into the building and then find the spa, kinda feels like going into a mall - very easy to find when inside)

I am compelled to write a review for this place because they are worth the hype. Beside giving the best massages in the city, they provide the best customer service and I do not say this lightly. I recently ordered a voucher like I always do for my husband and for whatever reason I didnt get the voucher in my email. It took my the whole day to actually realize and when I did, it was Sunday 9 pm so I texted them and let them know of my issue. Honestly I did not expect a response because it was so late on a Sunday. Well, I got a response within 10 min with a resolution and personalized message. Now thats what I call EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I mean I was honestly blown away. I feel these little things and the attention to details really set a business apart. I drove all the way from Lethbridge (2.5 hrs) to see Cynde. She was absolutely amazing! She is so professional and knowledgeable. Cynde provided above and beyond service and my back has never felt better. She combines massage techniques to give you a custom massage that will address your issues and ease tension, pains and strains. I will be driving back to Calgary to see her again.I’d also like to note that Jasmine was very helpful upon booking and processing paperwork etc. She even went out in the cold to flag me down after I missed the parking lot entrance. I got a massage yesterday with Phil for 90 mins. I feel so relax after the session, I fell asleep the entire 90 mins.The amount of the pressure and his technique is amazing and it really helps me to ease my back pain. He is highly recommended!

A very clean and calm small place for getting massages. Very well skilled professional massage therapists which is most important part for me - their technique is more than 5 star for sure. They dont charge any extra fee for providing hot stone massage, steam towel, cupping, etc. They also pay back your parking fee which is great. The parking area is just in front of the massage shop so its very convenience. Their online booking system and chatting services are great. They quickly answer your questions via email as well.One star off because they did a mistake from my last visit. I have contacted them before my massage day and make sure that I dont need to fill out medical form so I arrived there just right before my booking time. But they required to fill out the form again and I explained but they couldnt find my file. I ended up to spend some time to fill it out again and I was late almost 15 min to get my massage session. I hope they improve their customers data management system and they need to effectively communicate with their customer care admins/front-desk staffs.Some additional info you might want to know is that they dont do direct billing with insurance so you have to pay up front.But they quickly send an email with invoice attached so you can claim it by yourself later. Its a open space with closed the curtains around and you cant really speak when you get inside. So you better communicate and explain your needs with your therapist before you get into the room.Overall, a good place for relaxing massages and I am considering to visit there soon again.

Excellent experience - had a 60 minute couples massage, and was incredibly relaxing but also effective. Left feeling so relaxed, with zero pain left in my neck/shoulders. They added in cupping, hot stone, and a facial massage at no extra cost. They also reimbursed us for parking. 10/10 experience and would absolutely rebook here.

My husband found this exige throu online at first i am hesitant to come but why not give it a try.when we saw the place it gives us a good impression. The way on how they handle the new client are fantastic and very professional. The clinic was so clean and spotless.

I booked a massage and a facial , both were really good. The ambiance was relaxing and the lady that took care of me was knowledgeable and accommodating. They also have a steam room that was absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be back.

Best Massage TherapyLucy is a miracle worker. Hands down the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. Excellent technique and very thorough. Her experience shows in her attention to details and understanding of anatomy. Perfect pressure throughout the entire massage. I would highly recommend Lucy! This was my first time at Exige, and will most definitely be going back. I have been to a few different massage places because I just cant seem to find one that makes me feel good, I seem to be in pain after I leave, so I found Exige and thought I would give them a try. The hot stones, the cupping, the face massage, the foot massage oh so good! Cant say enough about them, cant wait to go again!

I dont know where to begin. Dr.Dee got all the right places. She was able to explain to me why my shoulder was in such pain and what was truly wrong with it. She took her time to make sure all the knots were out, she checked to make sure the pressure was good throughout, I went in sore as sore could be, but left feeling like a million bucks. You can tell by the time she took and the technique she used that shes got the experience and love for her job that we all hope our therapist has. The environment is calming, welcoming and clean. I dont usually write reviews, but my experience with Alyssa left me baffled. I told her what was hurting, what felt weird. I was so surprised when I got up.. I had to say 70% of the pain was gone. Will definitely be seeing her more often for more treatment.

PERFECT experience!! Exige is the only spa out of the many I have been to that actually transports me to the relaxing oasis I crave. I went with my partner who got 30 mins extra massage. While I was waiting for him I got to wait in a quiet space in a massage chair with a bottle of water and a super soft blanket. The space has huge windows that allowed me to observe the river walk pathways and totally zen out. Not to mention I had just received the best massage Id ever had! The spa also smells amazing- yet not too overpowering. I couldnt say any negative things about this place. Definitely recommend to those who need a truly relaxing experience.

I love this place and therapist Nyui. But this time they told me that she was completely booked until end of july and suggested therapist Judy. I was a bit skeptical, but the lady on the phone assured that I can stop anytime within the first 30 minutes and walk out with no charge if I am not satisfied. Since my past experiences have been good, I took it anyway.Judy was rushing through the entire time. She spent a quick minute to check through the form to decide how much time she would spend on each section of my back and legs depending on my markings. When I was on the table, she wouldnt let me talk to her if I had anything to say regarding my pain. All I was allowed to communicate was if the pressure that she applied was fine with me or no. When she was about to massage my shoulder and neck area, I told her that I have a herniated disc and she should keep that in mind while working in that area. She shut me out and said I cannot say anything other than if pressure she applied was good By this time, it was 45 minutes through the session and I lost my chance of refund.Overall, I walked out with a swollen neck and more pain. And they have given me an appointment with Nyui for July 14th now. I dont know how that happened. As of yesterday, Nyui was not available until the end of july, and suddenly now that they messed my back up , they have a spot available mid july.They are taking advantage of the COVID situation and ripping off clients with any random therapist. This was completely unlike a Calgary experience, where people are always looking for ways to help. There was no word of apology or refund or discount for next appointment.A word of caution, do not take the appointment with a new therapist unless you are new to this place.

I was referred to Dr. Amanda for overall health as well as recovery from a car accident. It has been a long road of recovery and physio, but finally finding someone who is as friendly and client first oriented, it has simply been life changing. She has not only helped me with my injuries, but thanks to her expert advise for other health purposes, I have never felt so good physically or as a person.Since my first visit, Dr. Amanda has been able to coach me into making lifestyle changes (diet) I didnt think that I could ever make. She has always been readily available for any of my questions. Every time I go to my appointment, Dr. Amanda makes sure that any problems I am currently having, whether it is feeling under the weather, sore, or just overall stressed, she will adjust the treatment to suit my needs.Dr. Amanda has surrounded herself with a staff that is equally concerned about my well being. I always look forward to my appointment with Dr. Amanda and her team. They have built an atmosphere that is truly relaxing. The spa is extremely clean, and the linens are always fresh! The overall cleanliness and hygiene of the spa is clearly held to a high standard.Thank you so much Dr. Amanda and staff for everything you have done for me. Without you, I know I wouldnt feel how I do today!

Me and my fiancé had our very first massage here and purchased the couples package. We weren’t very knowledgeable about all the different types of massages so the front staff explained everything we needed to know!We arrived a little too early so she let us wait in the electronic massage chairs before our actual massage!Very beautiful and serene inside and you can tell that there was a lot of attention to detail when it came to service/decor/layout of the facility. We really appreciated how tentative the front staff and masseuses were. We will definitely be sure to come back!

Ive been coming for the past 6 months and theyre amazing! They have amazing customer service and really care about their patients. They respond right away with text. I like all the massage therapists, but my personal favorite is Patricia! Shes extremely good and gives amazing pressure.

The massages Ive had at Exige are all of a very high caliber. The massage therapist that I see is highly trained and professional. I always experience therapeutic benefits (reduced neck pain/headaches) and an improved sense of well-being in the weeks following my treatments with her. The atmosphere of the spa is relaxing and tranquil. This spa is awesome!
