Lovely staff. I was a little taken back to be asked to use hand sanitizer at the door by the doorman. It is odd that they have a doorman but I am glad they are taking steps to protect their staff and customers. Will be returning for all of my eye care needs in the future.
0 Stars, worst customer service ever! I called to get some more information about my prescription, and the lady on the phone literally said This is not my problem, I cant give that to you!. She was very rude and unhelpful. This is not how you talk to a customer, even when you cant help them. They try to make it difficult for you to get your prescription, so you are forced to purchase one of their ugly frames. Please do yourself a favor an go somewhere else!EDIT 1: (Since I cannot respond) - Yes, it is the correct location. Maybe you cant find me because whoever took my information over the phone wrote down my name and phone number incorrectly.
Received glasses from this location before and called about my prescription details. I was told I would have to pay $60+ to receive my entire prescription. Would not go to this place they withhold your prescription details, went to another optometrist and got them no problem.
I had a great experience. The staff was helpful and kind. I never felt rushed. My only complaint would with the wait before my appointment. I thankfully wasn’t in a rush that day.
Great customer service and COVID safe
Forced my children to wait outside of the store claiming it was due to covid19. However, other customers were allowed inside the store with no issues. My children are 7, and 9 years old. Even after I offered to wait until all other customers were finished, I was told the children could not enter the store. The children did have masks on, and were wearing them properly. NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY BUSINESS AT ALL.
Apart from the swiftly in and out service with the eye doctor. Everything everyone else said is true. The prices for frames are extremely overpriced and very few selection, not to mention front desk service is horrible. I heard some bad reviews about this office before but I wanted to give it a try for myself, definitely not the place to go.
I highly recommend this location. The two beautiful ladies in the front was very professional. They knew exactly what had to be done. Thank you to Dr. Riii she did a great eye exam and saved my vision. So beautiful and very professional. This is the best eye glasses location in flatbush Brooklyn. Hands down. Please visit if your having problems with your eyes or need new glasses.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🤓
Children aged 7 and 9 were forced to wait outside of the business. The management stated that it was due to the covid19 pandemic. Both children were properly wearing face masks, and other customers were allowed inside the place of business at that time. This business is NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. DO NOT take young children to this location.
I love going there. Everyone is amazingly friendly, nice and kind. They greet you with a warm genuine smile. Getting great service matters to me.
I love going to this eye clinic there fast & I can just walk in. My family & I always come here. I don’t understand why people say their frames are overpriced. I mean most of them are real name brands you can’t expect Prada or other brands similar to that to cost less than 100$
They are so nice. Great staff at the front desk and the dr is helpful and personable.
Very nice place!! Great selection of frames and what I like the most is a bargain possibility! You won`t hear typical take it or leave it. Got what I wanted and want to say special thank you to a very knowledgeable doctor who explained to me my vision issues and answered all of my questions. Definitely recommend to visit them.
I went here a few months ago but I wanted to make sure I said something about my experience.I gave this review 2 stars because the eye doctor I saw was great, but the service at the desk elsewhere was pretty bad. The staff berated older customers and people who are clearly on hard times. When I got my glasses I was forced to repeatedly return because they told me their eye glass fitting person was not onsite.I am fortunately able to afford contacts, I only wear my glasses at most an hour a day when I wake up and before I go to bed. It’s really crazy to me that vision services would be so bad, that your sight has to be effected because someone doesn’t like old or poor people. I’m sure they treat certain people well, you’ll know pretty quickly if you’re one of them.
My family and I have been using Flatbush Optical for years now. Theyre courteous, professional, and reasonably priced. Just a great shopping experience all together. Many thanks to the team there, theyre truly wonderful!
They have a great doctor at the location who goes through everything while doing the exam and they take many many insurances. They have a very wide selection of frames and tell you about all the options you can have on your glasses in details, they are always smiling and very polite. I have to wear glasses all the time so I wanted something I would like, they accomadated me with my budget and I still got the look I wanted. Overall, I would def. recommend to everyone and go back myself.
Friendly staff. Clean building. Great location
I came here with 250 dollar voucher. Got my eye exam, which went smoothly. Then an employee told me shed be right with me and proceeded to chat with her coworker for a half hour. I would have been fine browsing on my own but all of the glasses were behind the counter. When she finally came over, I told her I was on a budget, so Id like to see frames that were on the cheaper side. The first frame she showed me was 500 dollars, or at least thats what she said. So I asked for the least expensive frame in the store, and she said it was 250$. I thought this was outrageous,so asked to just get my prescription. The employee informed me Id have to wait until the doctor came out to sign the prescription. The doctor sauntered out 30 minutes later without a clue that anyone was waiting for her, and walked right out the door for a lunch break. She finally got back and signed an incomplete prescription. If you want to waste your day by people who will try to sell you glasses for twice their actual price, go here.
I believe items are overpriced. People are advised to compose a list of all that is needed, including the cost of the lens, cost of the frame etc to do comparison of whats available at other optical stores.
Pushy salesman, refused to provide my prescription after I decided not to buy any frames by justifying the risk of customers loosing paper prescriptions!. After numerous attempts and going trough the insurance company they finally send me the prescription. These people are scam and totally unethical if they refuse to provide your prescription please refer this article.FTC law clearly requires an ophthalmologist to provide a copy of prescription immediately after the eye examination is completed.Sec. 456.2 Separation of examination and dispensing. It is an unfair act or practice for an ophthalmologist or optometrist to:(a) Fail to provide to the patient one copy of the patients prescription immediately after the eye examination is completed.-- Addendum--A customer leaving a comment even few months later should make you realize how unfair they were treated. I received the prescription 3 days later the printing date and exam date is printed on rx. In the meantime I had to hang around with a broken lensI hope you improve your business model will remove my comment once there is a review trend towards it
Ive been using Flatbush Optical for many years and have nothing but great things to say about this place. Knowledgeble staff, great service, reasonable prices. Just recently got couple of pairs for my son - he loves the selection of frames. Highly recommend it.
I gave them 5 stars Excilent customer services very good doctor I was satisfied on my first visit I will be going back.
Fast services with good prices. I have been going here for over 5 years I recommend it for my friends.
Horrible place of business unprofessional and liars
I wasnt impressed with the service at Flatbush Optical because they gave me different pricing after I had my exams. Most places do charge for a contact lens exam, but I wasnt pleased with how the price seemed to have changed after it was determined that I had an astigmatism. Also, my stepfather has been here and they were very pushy with his eyeglass selection.
Over priced items, pushy sales people. Stay away from this place.
Awesome customer service, knowledgeable staff excellent discounts for myself and family. Will not shop anywhere else but here.
Not bad the are very good
Rude customer service. The glasses are overpriced.
Good Service
