I was shopping with my daughters today (8&6). They love going to thrift stores with me. Unfortunately we were not allowed in the store, because we had no masks. I pointed out the young boy that was guarding the door, that I saw other people in the store wearing no mask. His reply; people tend to take them down while shopping. We still weren’t allowed in. I was even more appalled when he wasn’t able to provide me with a mask. If you have the policy, you should provide them. Another lady that worked there walked up and had to intimidate us even more. Unbelievable. We left and went to a few other thrift stores in the area where masks weren’t required and we were treated super friendly. One of the stores clerks even gave my girls a little gift! Kindness & friendliness goes a long way. I felt violated & discriminated. Shame on you, Savers. It also makes no sense that the Savers in Nampa does not and has not required masks. Odd. I won’t be back.
I had never really been to savers, so I went in with high expectations. The selection is decent but some of the prices are outrageous for used clothing, especially in the womens section. I do have to say that the winter attire was very reasonable and the home section was as well. But the DI and youth ranch are better for clothing in my opinion.
The store will only do exchanges and not returns on clothing. The pants I purchased were $25 each (expensive for a thrift store) and I was not able to try them on due to Savers changing rooms being closed due to Covid. Ive always enjoyed shopping here, especially for Halloween, but I wont be coming back.
Wow how Savers has sure changed!!! 😥👎🏼I was Very Disappointed to say the least!! Their shelves were Empty, (plenty of clothes on and off the hangers) the store was the dirtiest I have ever seen it, items all over the floor, and scattered in disarray. Their prices were crazy high for a thrift store. It was impossible to locate anyone actually working on the floor if you had any questions. The checkouts were even self-serve... very annoying!!I will not be returning anytime soon, nor will I be advising anyone else to go there. It was an absolute joke and waste of time.If There was a way to leave Zero stars I would have, they dont even deserve 1 star!
Dear Savers, you were my favorite place to shop when going through difficult times. I spent so much money on stuff at your store and when I would do my college hw at the coffee shop that’s out of business next door I would come in and buy something weekly for years. Now I will no longer be shopping there because you don’t provide masks, have no dressing rooms, self checkout, and no returns on money.
The store is clean and tidy. I like to look for old movies and books. The books are organized by genre, and the movies are just randomly spread across various shelves. I can deal with the latter though. It’s the same for all but one place I have encountered. The reason for four stars instead of 5 is due to prices. This is a company that gets its goods for free. The movies cost more than they do at other thrift stores. Some of the clothing prices are in line with your typical big box store. Still a great place to find something unique. I know I’ve found plenty.
Need a mask or can’t come in. lost my business for sure, at least provide the mask bozos .
I was able to find my daughter a few chapter books, clothing wise they didnt have long sleeve pajamas or long sleeve Ts in her size. I was also severely upset by the fact that they ONLY have self check registers. I do not feel that it is my job as a customer to ring up my items, but rather the job of the employee. Will NOT be returning anytime soon.
Was told I can’t shop here without a mask. I didn’t bring one and drove all the way from Caldwell to come here and I asked if they could provide me with one and they said no and was told to leave.I have my vaccine and my booster shot, and proof on my card, and I don’t mind wearing a mask at all, but the fact that they didn’t have any to provide for people who didn’t bring one and come here to spend their hard worked for money is pathetic. At least provide masks to people who come here to spend their $. Places like the mall and other stores provide masks if they have a policy. Honestly ruined my day.
Savers is definitely a great go-to thrift store time killer. Theres so much to look at and find. Great home good, clothing etc although I do wish the prices were better. They are around 20-30% higher than say Goodwill or even Dessert. Their goods do make it worth the trip, especially Nampa, that store is awesome. Donate, get your 20% off and have fun. Thats what thrifting is all about.
This store used to be really great but now is Bottom of the Barrel overpriced TRASH. I will no longer shop OR donate here again EVER because the customer service is HORRENDOUS.
Use to love to knock around the store and find clothes. They have completely removed the dressing rooms even though the store is at least 75% clothing. If that isn’t bad enough, they do not give you refunds or even store credit if the clothes don’t fit once you get them home.Savers needs to be reminded that they are selling used items. Extremely over priced for what they are selling.Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
Bring back the dressing rooms or give cash refunds for clothes that dont fit once you get home. If I have to make a trip back to store because of not being able to try something on, I should get my money back. I cant afford to buy clothes that dont fit. The dressing rooms are needed.Your prices have gotten alot higher than they use to be.I dont like the new self check out either, I had to keep waiting for assistance when trying to check out.The employees here have always been nice, friendly and helpful.
Savers makes it so easy to donate and go into the store and shop. I take my mother here each time she visits me.
Only seniors day makes shopping at this store affordable. Their books ate outrageously priced, not thrift store prices.
I have always loved the store!I went in today with the intention of spending 2 to $300. Imagine my disappointment when Im told not only are there no dressing rooms anymore, but you also only can exchange, no money back, No store credit. Prices are much higher than other second hand store. To add to it, you have to check yourself out and no bags. I understand trying to save money, but none of these things are customer friendly.Im very disappointed in the change and wont be returning to the store.
I used to like Savers but will not be returning after my visit today. The items have always been over priced, in my opinion. But now you have to also check your self out. There was one check stand open with a cashier which I was patiently waiting for, allowing others to go ahead of me and use the self checkout, should they choose to. An employee approached me and informed me that I HAD to use the self check out and that the cashier that was helping a customer was closing her check stand immediately after that customer. I politely explained that I was purposely not using the self check stands (I like supporting employees). She refused to allow me to wait and forced me to the self checkout. The cashier stayed open and did not close after that customer too.Very rude and not good customer service. I will not be returning.
Nice staff great prices. Clean too
Got a nice leather jacket here about a year ago
Got some real nice things. Notice a hole in a higher priced shirt after I got home 2 hrs away. Unsure of return policy. Years ago I liked it better when the clothes were in color order.
WARNING: NO REFUNDS, just exchanges. THEY DONT EVEN GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK, Hard earned Money. AND...NO FITTING ROOMS. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL.
Always so much to find. Great prices!
Love thrift shopping. Savers is a pretty decent place to find...well..you never know. Great place to hit for Halloween costumes for sure. Store is pretty well kept up.
Nearly everyone who worked here was super nice and helpful (and everyone was dressed immaculately)
If I could give 0 stars I would they refused service to my ill grandmother who cannot wear a mask for medical reasons they didn’t even ask if she had reasoning just said get out
Wonderfully helpful people. Great bargains
I LOVE shopping at Savers. Im having trouble losing the weight after my last baby and have had to replace ALL my pants. Ive gotten some pretty nice name brand clothes here for cheap. The store is always clean and organized.
The staff is helpful, educated, and there are always great finds waiting to be discovered!
I always find things at Savers of course, however their prices are getting absolutely ridiculous!
The new check out stations are quite easy to use.
Nothing on the shelves. Management keeps blaming lack of employees but will only hire at $9 hour when, next door at Youth Ranch is $11 and McDonalds hires at $13.
I found a nice microwave for $10! Always love how I find cool useful stuff!! 👍👍
Love Savers. Always a friendly staff and they know where everything is that you are looking for. What makes Savers better than other second hand stores is not only their prices but their inventory is organized and not just thrown on a shelf. This location is following the recommended safety guidelines and masks or face shields are required for entry. They have a staff member standing at the entrance making sure they are worn as well as keeping a customer count because they have a limited occupancy of 75.
My fiancé and I love thrift shopping and since having a baby I buy a lot of used kids clothing. Savers has got to lower their toddler clothing prices. Last time I went literally almost every single item was 4.99. I mean 5.00 for every single article of clothing adds up. That is ridiculous and not even Kid to Kid is that expensive. If you’re looking for the best prices for USED baby clothing Kidz Again is your best bet. 3.00 is usually the average price for dresses and shorts and pants are 1.99. Most other items are 2.99. Not 5.00 a piece. I hope Savers will take this into account.
Still dumbfounded as to how this place, or any of the others can exist- outrageous prices all over, literally trying to sell NFL jerseys 100.00 to 120.00.....REALLY???? the NFL shop will sell them on sale for literally 50-75.00 new at certain times, you can go on marketplace and get them cheaper... heck i buy jerseys at Good will and desert for 5.00 to 10.00 max, and that includes stitched! ..hilarious really, Savers are notorious in the valley for taking certain things and jacking the up to full retail prices
Nicely organized, much cleaner than before thrift store. Tons of clothing, lacks in the area of furniture, appliances, though I snagged a charming kitchen table w/4 chairs for 40 bucks AND they disassembled it to fit in my car, WAY COOL. Ample bed and bath items. Loads of purses to browse. Prices are average for a store of this type.
First place I have ever gone to that require masks and do not provide them.
I would give it a 4 star except I hate that they took out checkstands with real checkers and replaced them with self checkout...do not like or enjoy self checkstands
Everything was great except I wanted a price for a shower curtain and they didnt have anyone that could price it for me
The prices are very high for a thrift store. Visiting from out of state and decided to stop in to do some shopping. Left without anything. Some of the clothing was priced higher than the original store they came from. Checking out some other thrift shops in the area instead.
I love shopping for bargains and I can usually find some great deals. On Tuesdays they give 30% off to those who are aged 55 and over. That made for even better bargains. Plus they have a loyalty program where you can get 20% off of your purchase.
Good place to get clothes but very overpriced for donated items. I did find what I was looking for but like I mentioned definitely overpriced
The variety! I could be here for hours.
Over price would have gone to a regular store to pay that Im trying to save money
If you want Idaho to remain a red state, don’t shop at places like this. Filled with shapeless workers with countless piercings, shaved heads, and dyed hair. Prices are marked up considerably compared to other local thrift stores (including the Idaho Youth Ranch next door). And to top it all off, you have to pay 10 cents per bag. This is the problem with commie stores out of Washington coming into red states. If you care about your community, support any other thrift store but Savers
Good place for people on a budget 😉
My favorite thrift store in Boise for many years now
I love this store so much! Stephanie is awesome and very patient! Keep up the great work everyone!
Great clothes selection and watch for their deals, coupons, points etc to save even more money
I think their prices on clothes is ridiculous!!!! I can buy brand new clothes for the same or cheaper than what they have!
It was bad left My stuff and walked out someone cleaning one of the 2 check out places with no mind to people waiting in line to check out older man needing help it was way too much
Overpriced. And still requiring masks.
Very clean store and good prices.
Mens shorts.....many way over priced, up to $19.99.No dressing rooms!
Overall, the experience and service was absolutely wonderful, overall. I only gave 4 stars, instead of five, simply due to high suggestion of wearing a face mask, and maintaining 6 foot radius from everyone. I refuse to live in fear, or to allow fear to control me or my life. I however do understand that Savers is simply following the acceptable society guidelines set forth by the powers that be, so called. I commend Savers for following the rules, and is why I gave four stars, instead of five, as I really wanted to.
A little overpriced for a thrift store sometimes but the employees are nice and the covid precautions they are taking are good!!!
Need dressing rooms open, we put things back
The customer service is 6/10. I normally get a very tired and awkward cashier and thats ok, but my complaint is this: I have, on many occasions, went to go out the door with either my hands full...or a cart full. Not once ever have I had someone offer to help or get the door. EVERY TIME, and I mean everytime I am struggling, there is always 1-3 employees just watching me. I will actually turn to see if I could get help and multiple employees will be staring at me. The savors in nampa, I never have an issue getting help.
Amazing what you can find at Savers! A great pair of jeans, the perfect picture frame to fit in that one spot, a book you loved but had lost, a costume for any occasion, vinyl records from yesteryear, OH! and a 30% discount for seniors (I, officially, qualify this year! 😀) ... Savers has it all!!
The shelves were rather empty.
I only go to Savers about once a month now because their prices are way too expensive now. Every time they get new management they raise the prices.
I like all the Savers in the valley, but this location seems to have the largest selection. Very clean.
Nice clean with wonderful cashier ok prices some seemed a bit high
Best thrift store in town!!! Clean, organized and great prices.
The manager was very disrespectful with very poor customer service skills. The merchandise is over priced for worn clothing. As for me and my family we will not be shopping here again.
Great store. I enjoy shopping there.
I love Savers so much! I love that they have half off days and reasonable to cheap prices!

Always has good stuff but the prices are high so i donate to Christian charities, their prices are better.
This is a great place to shop, however because of current situations you cannot try on clothes in the fitting rooms and if you buy clothes, you only get store credit if you have to return them. Other places allow you to try on clothes. If you bring a donation here you can get a 20% discount coupon up to $100! You cant beat that!
Savers is the best! Great everyday items at incredible prices! Youre crazy if you dont check this place out.
My favorite Savers, I never leave empty handed. Everyones always really nice.
This store has a great Halloween selection and the clothes are not bad priced. However, as far as customer service they do not have it. While in the shoe department an attendant we had asked for help, decided that instead of finding someone that could help us she was going to say the isnt my department and walk away. The shoes were alot more pricey than goodwill or the di and to check out was confusing on were the line started and ended. We also had problems with one of the check out department employees with attitude.
Had not been since the pandemic began. The store has done a good job following guidelines with social distance markers and cleanliness.
Cashier was very nice.
I can buy new jeans at Walmart for the price of theirs. Rediculous
Enjoyed it! Very busy! People very friendly!
Clean, spacious, WAY overpriced. Youre better off buying some items new elsewhere.
Self checkout is awesome
Great deals favorite place for work clothes
Love going to Savers. Always find things I need.
The selection is good, staff is not that friendly
The highest priced thrift store in the valley by a good margin.
I love savers it has such good deals. And you can find such good clothes there.
My favorite shopping place
Best thrift store around
Love this place always find what I need
Great place. Support this business. And dont forget to stop by the Veterans thrift store next door.
Bare shelves
Great place to find good deals on just about anything!
Pretty decent place, it is clean and everything is organized well. Easy to find things. Price is higher for a thrift store, but you will find higher end items here like: nike, north face, helly hanson, and smart wool. They have weekly deals that make a big price difference.
Friendly folks and great prices
It was an ok experiance. The good and the bad.The good, ppl are friendly the iles are spaced out great. Plenty of room for ppl to move around comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean, I pay extra special attention to that kinda stuff
I had a wonderful time finding three pair of almost new, fashionable, mens jeans in a size 34x32. Its sometimes difficult to find decent trousers in such a common size, but I had to leave a few I liked behind. Thats stellar in a thrift store!
The staff is great. They are great at answering questions.
Their shoes are amazing. I dont know where they get all their shoes from but Im only shopping here from now on. I didnt expect much going in but couldnt believe how much new stuff they have. I wish I wouldve known about this place a long time ago.
