Historical shiva temple, the temple has been kept in its original form without any constructions or renovation. the site can be developed as the temple carries historical importance.

Pooareshwar (પુંઅરેશ્વર મહાદેવ) Mahadev is approx 300 to 500 Years Old Temple. Its a protected site under Archaeological Survey of India. Its is very Bad condition and Govt must do something in retrofitting of the Temple. Sound waves of Ghants may also happen to collapse so much bad condition.But the Temple is very beautiful. Nearest site is Pooaragadh which is just 50 meters far from the Temple.Its on Bhuj Nakhatrana Highway just 35 Kilometers far from Bhuj.

This Shiva Temple, which Combines elements of the Dravida and Nagara styles. is probably the oldest of its kind in kutch.Built on a high plinth and sparsely ornamented. The temple itself is relatively small in size. But it has all the essential elements including an enclosed ambulatory around the sanctum parts of it appear to have been rebuilt using the original material.Punvareshvar is named after Rapunvro. Founder of the near by town paddhargadh.
