Went there with my father. Good place to visit. Only small caves are there but you can enjoy top view and can feed monkey also. They will sit on your head and eat. Very playful but be careful as with one of our tourist met they put a nail on his soldier. Otherwise you will enjoy spending half an hour here.

Khandagiri Caves are caves of archaeological, historical and religious importance near the city of Bhubaneswar in Odisha.Situated in a location of Bhubaneswar, these caves contain rare inscriptions and engravings.Tourists utilize this visit as a combination of religious and leisure motives. It is a popular venue for films as well.Actually, Khandagiri is just one part of the two hills, earlier it was only one (Combined) but a king made a road in between them.Due to which the name of this hill became Khandgiri as in Jain mythology it was a temple place and it got khandit. For religious people, there are two temples here, one is the Jain temple with 1st Thirthankara Adinaths temple and 23rd and 24th Thirthankaras small temple. And it also has a Durga temple. It kind of reminded me of Ajanta Alora Caves .

Temple is situated on the mountain Khandagiri Caves. There is a jain temple which attracts more people to visit. Reallly love this place. There is a big story behind this caves.thay have to be very careful for those rocks otherwise it is a disaster, and there as u can see so many.Photography is not allowed inside the premises.it is on hill top, clining is easy and comfortable, inside temple is neat and clean, outer area is not well maintained, required more attention from govt agencies. You can notice devotees all the time. Theres an ashram near by where jain people stay. Photography and videography is not allowed here.

This place is one of the twin hills namely, Khandgiri and Udaygiri. The entry fee as of my date of review is INR 25. I however cant recall the price is same or more for foreign tourists. The site has numerous caves which now house monkeys but were initially meant for Jain Saints.Upon climbing the zenith of this hill you can witness the town at a distance. Believe me, it looks so charming.Another thing that also persists there time to time, couples(aged 19-28) and stunt-freako photo shooters.Few eunoqs keep charging bucks from youths.Other than that the campus is huge. It will take 50-75 minutes to take a detailed tour all the way round.Certain caves are so carved that they look like the face/mouth opening of tigers, snakes, elephants, etc.

The temple is on top of Khandagiri Hills. Reaching there is a bit difficult as one need to climb along the edge and there is not much support to avert accidents. Stills its a beautiful temple but here too all is about money. Pandas ask for money , its more of business than a religious spot.
