Office is new however the process is so confusing. RTO got a history of not letting people to go thru hassle free process. Nothing is systematic. You will be very disappointed with the kind of staff talk to you as they will make you run here and there everytime. Pathetic.

The office have been renovated and looks like corporate office.There was no rush but in queue. Good respond and explained properly.

I was looking for good people all over the world, and finally saw all saints at one place in Acharya Vihar RTO. Such honest and hardworking people are rare to find on earth. Feeling so blessed and enlightened to meet them.

The new building is awsome very neat clean and a parking space also available now.

It is a Regional Transport Office where u can get ur paper work for your car done. And this is the only place where u can get it done, so no other option, had to rated 5 stars only for location.. Rest all regarding getting ur work done is hell lot a punishment man, No one is bad, System is such that u get entangled into something and keep beating around the Bush. Most importantly paperworks of only 02 NO. Is done here.. kindly Like the review if u did benefit from it and u can also share it with ur friends

Hardly it will take 20 to 25 minutes for the entire process to get Learners license . First your photo will be taken followed by digital signature and then you have to go for online test. You will face 20 questions and you need to score 12 to pass the exam . Your exam will be over once you give first 12 correct answer.Then you can download your learner license certificate from online.

The staff is helpful. If they wish they could make the procedures much smoother and user friendly. Rather than making a person run to them multiple times, its possible to have a system in place to visit only once to deposit the documents and requisite fee. At present they accept fee only till 2PM which makes it impossible to finish off everything at one go. Further the vehicle inspection point is about 8 Km from the RTO and works between 8AM to 12PM. Therefore one has to make multiple trips to the RTO office to get even a simple work done.

If you want to apply by yourself then good luck with that. It will be tough. Your best bet are the brokers. And all of them are sitting outside the office premises. If you want to apply, heres the process:-1. Contact a broker and ask him that you want to apply for a DL.2. He will apply for you online right there which will take a few minutes.3. If youre lucky, you will get to do the biometrics on the same day else, hell ask you to come another day.4. Next your biometrics will be done and after that testing for LL (learners license)5. Youll get your LL and after that payment.Youll need to DL license before the expiry of the LL. Usually after one month.6. Again come back after one month or so and youll need to choose a date for appearing the final driving test. Dont forget to bring your LL with you.7. Once again your biometrics will be done and finally youll be given the permit to appear the test.8. Reach an hour before the given time on the test ground that is behind the Patia petrol pump. Very crowded due to recently announced Transport Rules. Though the Home Guard is doing a fine duty, the sheer number of people makes a common man doubtful while entering the premises. It should be cleaner.

My work done quickly by help of broker

On visiting this website on 04-02-2020 for Learners Licence, I was directed to another website drivingwale.com who charged Rs.1381 online, asked for proof of DOB& address & provided forms to be filled. The filled forms with medical certificate emailing failed to reach them for last 3 days from 9th Feb. although my Aadhaar & PAN was recd. by them on same email. None of their phones are responding. How such a fake site could be allowed on rto site?

This is a Govt office for public in respect to vehicle/Bike matters like Registration, Driving Licence, Ownership changes, and fine for violation of transport rules, more than 50 percent jobs are being done by Agents here. It will be good to see no agent involvement work with the strict management by the top Govt officials.

Not cooperative

The RTO office is very much crowdful since last one week after the effective new traffic rules... The crowd is such high that finding a place to park a bike or car is extremely tough nowdays.. As the whole footpath at left side from vani vihar to acharya vihar is full of parked vehicles.. The brokers are openly looting the people, but every body is silent as they are in hurry to get their licences or to update their vehicle related documents....

Worst place. Its better not to have DL rather visiting this place.

The authorized officer at the office is not cooperative. He hardly understands the genuine grievience. Even our parliament knows very well how pathetic the system of governance of RTO offices, let us hope some singham get into our RTO offices. Very pathetic experience. If you are going to this office for any work, then be prepared for long delay.

Hopeless to expect prudent service from here. Visited there perhaps after 7/8 years & hoped it would have been changed from a slow lethargic office then to a young, fast, digitised office now, but left utterly dissapointed. After all the digitisation, its still slow & infested with 2 bit brokers. Understood one thing, that unless people change no digitisation can change the system. There are still those old staffs who expect bribe from everybody & everything. Although they dont ask for it expressly, thanx to the smartphones & its cameras, they will create such a situation that youll have to offer bribe. And if you dont offer bribe like me, you will definitely end up thinking, I better should have

In contrast to the other reviews posted, I had applied for my LMV Learners License online and just paid the Government fees. On the appointment date, I spent 20 mins and I had got my LL.For the DL also, I had applied online and booked a slot for the Driving test. I appeared and passed it. If you want to do it on your own it is possible, just carefully go through the website and the people at the helpdesk are also helpful. Please do dont fall into the trap of Dalals! I have done it on my own and it is possible for you to do it too.

Located beside Maharaja theatre, this RTO office is epic center for corruption where officer would not process request without bribe/money. This office is full of agents who would deliberately charge exorbitant fees!

Everything should be online and broker free. If brokers are required, they should be approved by the RTO and the list of such approved brokers should be available on the website of RTO with landline/mobile phone nos/email ids etc.
