It is a heaven on earth I call it by this name only. Extremely Beautiful, very clean serene environment. Morning walkers paradise. My husband goes there everyday for morning walk. Very well maintaied. A must visit park. I just want it should be opened in the evening at least for 2 hours from 5 to 7 pm. It is open only in the morning from 5:30 am to 8:30 am. Timing is disappointing.

It is one of a big park in and around Bhubaneswar with relatively less footfall as compared to Indira park or Forest park or Madhusudhan park or Ekambra Kanan park as it is almost 15km in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar maintained by the Forest department. It is situated opposite side of the DN REGALIA MALL by the road side which one can miss easily.But the park is well maintained having large area covered with plantation. There is a big area where sufficient number of medicinal plants are there with their scientific names put as tag underneath. You can find a very big area of rose plantation with its full bloom of various sizes. Its a very nice place to take your kids there for a educational trips. There is one Bamboo garden inside it. The park opens for the morning walkers at 5.00AM in the morning with a entry fee of Rs 5. 00. But the entry fee after 8.00AM is Rs 50.00/ with a battery operated vehicle per person for one hour which remains open upto 6.00 PM in thr evening.If one wants to spend some time in the park and get some fresh air.. morning time is best. Here are some of the snaps at 6.00 to 7.00 in morning.

It is great place for plant lovers mainly with medicinal plants. It is in 60 hectares of land. Battery rickshaw is available to roam around. Students & researchers should visit this place. It is a Government organization. Needs more attention. It needs to be explored more. Staff should be more professional.

If you love plants, you will love this place. Great facilities, good staff. There is a museum.

The place is around 150 acres having exotic collection of medicinal trees, plants,creepers etc.Each type of plants are provided with well defined name boards with Oriya,English and botanical names. Nicely maintained place.They rear and sell plants to outsiders.They allow people to have morning walk in their premises on the unpaved road of around 3 km through a very natural atmosphere.Many people carry out yoga,pranayam, various exercises here.To sum up the place is divine.

If u r a nature lover or have interest in natural medicine then its a must visit place. The bambusetum is very unique. Do visit in nov- Dec , to have a glimpse at the seasonal flowers.
