AFFWA stands for AirForce Women Welfare Association. As name suggests it is run by women whose husband are either serving, retired or martyred being in service. This organisation pays basic amount to the serving ladies with the amount collected when we shop for groceries or gift or stationary item from thier shop. Items here sold are way cheaper than the MRP price so it is a win for customers too. Some allowance is given to the ladies working here for thier children school fees, Hostel etc.

Well maintained place as per service standards.There are shops of Fruits and Vegetables, a cyber place, super mini mart (It really needed to expand its products range) and AFWWA. A cafeteria is really needed since there are no options for one to have a go to place for fast food.

One of the best place for monthly dry rations, fresh vegetables and fruits, gift items, clothing etc of day to day use at a very reasonable prices.The place provide one stop solution for monthly needs of rice, pulses, beans, flour etc of very good quality at a very reasonable prices. The other shops include here gift shops, toys, clothing etcA fresh vegetable/fruit shops provide very fresh and reasonable priced items. The fresh items arrive early morning attracting lot of households thronging for purchase.In the come one can find restraunt, saloon etc. Overall a place for day to day merchandise at right price. Must visit to have a feel.

I had purchased a plazzo on 4/12/18.As it was too tight, I requested the lady to exchange it for an other plazzo. But she refused that it was not possible. Before buying none of the staff at the thrift shop advised to check before billing. I understand they have some rules. But if it is a genuine case, the incharge of the thrift shop should help the customer.Hope there may be some improvement in future.

Though it is a society of air force ladies club. It is not restricted to other commuters. Rate of daily usage grocery is cheaper as compared to others super markets. Even they have children play area. People can come for some time-pass there. INDIA GATE MINI MOGRA RICE is available only there.Gift items are bit costlier. Childreb Park needs to be maintained better.

It is not a Mall. It is actually Airforce Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) venture to promote their products to sell among Airforce personal and other staff within their defence camp.Ofcourse civilians are also welcome to buy the products.

A welfare organisation of IAF. The items are cheap and the items are from all over the country. They are able to get it through personnel coming back from leave or through aircraft. However profit goes for the welfare of Airforce wives and widows.
