Wonderful and pleasant trip to chickmaglur. Enjoyed every minute of it. Camping, trekking, soaking in waterfalls, food, water activities and especially playing MAFIA in the bus. Weather was a bit rough but that didnt stop from having a wonderful experience. Recommend it highly. Expect me coming back soon again.

Gokarna is an underrated version of Goa and Get beyond limits offers a great trekking tour that covers the entire town.It’s a very well planned trip with like minded people.The outdoor leaders are very friendly and will do their best to make this trip a memorable experience!I highly recommend it to people looking for a quick weekend getaway.

We booked for Gokarna trek. The journey started well, the transportation was good, two guides were friendly. Most of the things went well. But few things went wrong. We were promised a bonfire but that didnt happen. Next, one guide was in his first journey so what guidance can you expect from him but he still tried to be as useful as he can. But the other guide though traveled a lot here still forgot the path multiple times. And the only interactive activity was done on the return journey and nothing on the beach. These things made our journey a bit miserable.

I went to Nishani Motte trek with them and thoroughly enjoyed it. Salwat and the organizers are a fun bunch and will make sure you have a good experience throughout the trek. It was a pleasure trekking with them. And Id definitely be doing it again :)

Second trek with GBL and it was even more amazing than the first one!Outdoor leaders were amazing, very friendly, so much fun, experienced and innovative ideas made us all stay as one till the very last moment.If you love going for treks or camping with friends this is a perfect place to find amazing treks and make memories for a lifetime.

An awesome trip with amazing strangers turned into friends. Everything was organized to the T.The coordinators really helped us in getting beyond our limits and in enjoying the nature at its best. Will definitely be a part of gbl team again..

The trek as such was wonderful. This was my first trek with another group of people, and GBL made this an exciting experience for me. They made sure we reached to the various places on time and that we all stayed as a group. The outdoor leaders we had were amazing. They are fun and know what exactly need to be done. Very helpful. Only issue we had was the trip from Banglore to Gokarna. It was an over night trip and our driver had migraines. So he had to stop the bus in the middle and go to sleep for 2 hours. This delayed our travel. But nonetheless everything went on smoothly once we reached.

My wife and I went on the Kodachadri trek. We were a bit concerned as we never tracked before. The team leaders were so supportive and always motivated us to finish. We had a real ball of our lives. Great organization and great team.

It was totally an awesome trek !! Being my first trekking experience ,I was well guided by the leaders and was given a good motivation which made me think about my upcoming treks with GBL!!

I did the Kudremukh trek On Jan 11th, 2020, with Get Beyond Limits.Anirudh and Rohan (our outdoor leaders) were amazing!! They motivated the entire team and as they had mentioned at the start of the event we made some amazing friends in just those 2 days!The trek itself was very well led by both of them. They motivated and pushed us beyond our limits to make it to the peak and back. The bonding over campfire stories and mafia and Psych was superb!Sunday morning walk to a waterfall and a hidden pool was wonderful. I really enjoyed how flexible the itinerary was.The home stay was satisfactory and food was good. The travel arrangements were good.I also like the variety in what they have to offer. Camping with them is next on my list.

Been with them multiple times with my group of friends, and overall experience was nice all the time. All of their leaders are very professional also they try to keep environment lively and make us feel safe and secure as well.I recommend that you should try them at least once.

Most unlikely way of behavior of the people who drive the team. Their basic focus is on the money, once u pay u r forgotten, food is tooooo bad, no recreation activities done, its really a bad experience for me. Also most importantly, they dont have separate rooms/washroom for girls and boys. All are supposed to be in same room which I felt ridiculous. No privacy is respected. Horrible weekend gateawat I felt with GBL. Whatever they have written in their website, trust me not even 1% is true. Generally no one mentions the truth, but here it is way beyond.Nevertheless the guides are too less experienced to lead a trek team. Its not happening.

The trek was awesome. Its a best time to trek nishanimotte trail. ran out of water halfway but thats my mistake not carrying a bigger bottle. Overall the trek is good and the outdoor leaders were resourceful and thankyou GBL for this awesome trip.

It was a wonderful experience for us in Chikmagalur. GBL guide team was amazing and very supportive (Satya, Soundarya, Dimple). We never felt that even a single minute was wasted on first day as it was a very tight schedule. And we were part of cleaning of plastic bottles at the highest peak of Karnataka which is very good thing do so. Food and facilities provided by home stay was good considering the weather conditions of there.For second day i would like to suggest to add some more things or make that day more exciting as first.Apart from that everything was upto the mark.I suggest whoever is looking for a weekend adventurous trip can go with GBL.

The trek was organized and executed well. Appreciate the enthusiasm and approach of both the trek leaders - Lavanya and Athreya as well as the guide. It was a bit tough given the rain and the leeches, but would readily recommend GBL to my friends who want to do the KP trek.

This was my first solo trek. I was a little sceptical in the beginning. But the gbl team made it so comfortable for me that I am looking forward to more treks with them. The trek leaders … venkatesh and shailesh made it very comfortable and interesting . They were very well experienced and had the knowledge to guide us well. For women travelling alone safety is the utmost priority and gbl team ensured that. They were very warm and friendly and also organised games and fun activities as ice breakers. I wish i could call them professional hiking group. But they were so personal in helping the trekkers. The outdoor leaders for Kodchadri trip (Darshan and Kushagra; 18-20 October 2019) gelled with the group beautifully. Special shout out to Kushagra who reached the summit and went back to motivate some of the individuals who were struggling to reach the summit. They didnt have to do it. We had paid the money and no one would have blamed them. But their energy was contagious and pushed all of us to test our endurance. But best of all GBL gives you an opportunity to be an eco warrior (it is not compulsory) picking up discarded plastic waste, which was brought back to Bangalore for recycling.

Thanks GBL for providing such thrilling adventure to dudhsagar waterfall, the whole trip was filled fun. I would definitely recommend my friends to choose GBL for their next trek.Thanks Prakash and Rohan for guiding us and motivating us through entire trek, being a first timer it was hard but you guys pushed me to go beyond limits.Only point i think can be improved:The Tempo traveler was uncomfortable for overnight journey, a mini sleeper bus could have been much better 😊

Kodachadari has always been magical for me. From all possible hues of green, deafening sound of hidlumane water falls, bare and steep Meadows which make you pant for breath, splashing water from the streams to the beautiful jungle Flora and fauna, its a must for everyone to visit kodachadari atleast once and experience the magic!P.S. coffee in our home stay is exceptionally good ;-)

This was my second trek with GBL KP circuit trek and it was really amazing experience. All three trek leaders were really supportive throughout this trek and even homestay was pretty good. We had good campfire also in night and next day we have visited Mallalli waterfalls also which is quite amazing place to visit. Thanks GBL and Arun, Vignesh and Venkatesh for this awesome experience. I have been to many treks with GBL and each one has been superb. High quality and amazing experience, also the leadership of outdoor leaders is highly appreciable. I recommend GBL to everyone.

This company and their treks are an absolute joke. Anyone thinking of booking, should carefully go through all one star rated reviews because all those things will definitely happen.They have gotten some really amateurs as outdoor leaders who have no punctuality, urgency, leadership or care for the larger group, which in all fairness is part of their job description.The transport will be a small tt, lot of seats dont even recline, it will have no ac (imagine traveling in scorching afternoon, it will just stink), drivers are clueless and have been given no prior briefing.No proper Dos and Donts before the trek, no ice breaking, no briefing on the trek.No body is following the itinerary given on the web, which is shear falsification.Sad part some people will continue to book as there is genuine excitement around trekking and a will to explore.My two cents would be to avoid this startup and try other trekking groups, there are plenty these days.And get proper details on the guide and how the trail will be exactly.

Been with GBL on so many treks as their outdoor leader. I love the way things are arranged for the participants and they make sure that none of the participant should feel boredome. Though ppl come as solo or in small group but by the end of the trip we all become friends and cherish the mountain memories forever. Last but not the least they make sure that they support nature by keeping the mountains clean by incorporating project green and having leave no trace policy in place.

Having done close to 6 treks with them, they organise in detail and the itenary fits in..the out door leaders are friendly and tempo remains high:) although sometimes the van and accommodations can be taken care of.The home stays are basics but the people there make you heart felt. Would recommend a trek which can turn to be an addictive in the long run :)

GBL is one of the worst trekking org I have had experience with. They were so bad, I am actually writing a review for the first time. This is based on my trek to KP on 26th Jan.What went wrong-To start with the trek which was scheduled to start at 8 AM(which I personally think is too late to start a trek), there was no eagerness to get going even till 9.No proper transport arranged to reach the starting point of trek.18 people were stuffed into a 12seater TT.No briefing in the beginning of the trek on water availability, do and donts. Only a round of introduction was done.The trek lead did not even know the count of ppl he was taking along when he was asked at the forest check post.The trek lead (Arun) lead the front runners and did not think it was necessary to wait for the slower trekkers till it was getting dark.The 2nd trek lead( Sajid) had no clue of the route. He had done it only only once before, hence was always rushing ahead to stay with the group ahead to ensure we are on track.Sajid was forcing the slower group to increase pace instead of trying stay with them and motivating them to do it.On completion of an exhausting trek there was still no transport arranged to ferry the 18 exhausted trekkers back to the home stay. The drive back was 2 hours long which we were forced to take up in the same TT of 12.The trek leaders did not want to take the responsibility and conveniently transferred the blame on the management.I did not get a sense of professionalism from GBL. It felt like they just wanted money and did not care about customer experience.

Its awesome Gokarna trekking experience with GBL. Arrangements was perfect. Gokarna trekking is bit different from all other mountain trekking. You get beach, forest, Mountains, cliffs and most of time walking in edges of Arabian sea with magnificent view.

Want to give negative rating but no such option available. I Went to Kudremukh trek but ended up doing other small trek, though we had forest department permission for 90% of group members, our outdoor leaders were too great that instead of getting permission for rest 10% group members, they were convincing us not to go for Kudremukh trek.(They were not aware of the all forest department rules and made some ridiculous excuses). And the best part is they gave up their permission to other trek organizing group (BMC). They suck in every aspects, starting from the trek till returning back to Bangalore. Leaders were not at all supportive, irresponsible, no courtesy, no hospitality, worst accommodation. They even told to choose other organizing groups for treks. Worst experience and price is very high. Highly not recommendable.

Had a very good trek experience with GBL, 4 -5th of august Kudremukh trek .Properly orgainsed, Smitha n Arun were very friendly and they make sure that everyone are comfortable .Luckily got permission on same day when we reached and had an amazing trek.

Here is my experience with GBL on the Panorama Peak Trek [04 - 05 Aug 18]1. Tempo Traveler and Driver: The driver wasnt aware of the direction to the homestay. He took wrong directions multiple times and was stopping very frequently. Plus, he was watching video while driving.2. Introduction: The introduction part felt dragging when everyone in the TT was actually very tired after the days work. This can be taken as suggestion to do the introduction part next day before trek.3. Homestay, Food & Local Guide: Would give 5 out of 5.4. Outdoor Leaders: None of the Outdoor Leaders (Freelancers) has got any mountaineering courses (BMC, AMC, MOI).- Trek briefing like total trekking distance, trek timing etc. was missing. Participants got to know about it only on asking the outdoor leaders. This needs to be done before the trek starts in the morning.- Loud music was being played on speakers during the initial part of the trek.- Both the outdoor leaders couldnt direct the driver properly with the directions to the homestay. They had to take help of the Google Maps.5. Trek: The trek trail was really good.6. First Aid: There was no first aid kit with the Outdoor Leaders, which is a very essential part of any outdoor trek.7. Go Green Project: It’s a really good initiative.
