Went here before pandemic. Its a good park, full of very old Banyan trees. Lots of photography spots. Peaceful and very well maintained. Beware of monkeys, though.

This place has lost it old charm and has become too commercial. The growth (spread) of the tree appears to have been restricted now. I had visited this place more than 20 years ago and now a bit sad to see this magnificent tree been shackled.Don’t expect too much to see but if you like to look at a tree spread out and just soak in the view then you’ll like it. I have given it a 3 star because of the way the authorities have maintained the area else would have given a 4-5 star rating.

Its clwab, kalm and beutiful place. You are going to enjoy the nature. If you are good photographer you will get few clicks with Dodda alada mara. There is one temple inside the park. Its munishwara temple.Car parking near by will be a problem. Dedicated park is just beside the park. You need to walk a bit if you parking there.

The potential of this place is huge provided Govt takes some initiative and develops it further. As of now it is a work in progress. The banyan tree is huge with lots of space for picnic. Crowd is also decent on holidays and weekends. There are plenty of monkeys and so care must be taken before eating any food item. Liked the ambience and peaceful nature of this place.

This is one of best picnic/ Visiting place around Bangalore. Nearly 8-10 kilometers away from kengeri Bus stop. There are some direct buses from K R Market & Kempegowda Bus Station (KBS).This is an older Tree of around 400 years..... The main trunk had been collapsed due to age. Presently some renovation works under progress

The fact that the tree has been around for a while now, is overwhelming. Conserved properly, the tree is a source of fresh air for the inhabitants around. Spanning over a wide area, the tree has innumerable branching and rooting. The protection of such beings are important especially amidst the cityscapes that come up everyday by deforestation. Nothing much to see here, just the peace and fresh oxygen that the tree delivers free of cost.

Perfectly manicured green lawns and towering palm trees welcome you to the serenity of the Ajwa Nimeta Dam Garden. The design of this 130-acre garden is inspired by the Vrindavan Gardens of Mysore. The main attraction of this garden is the row of perfectly aligned musical fountains that offer a mesmerizing show every evening. Thanks to the coordination water sprouts that shoot up against the background of lovely colors, the place never fails to delight adults and children alike.

The Dodda Aalada Mara(ದೊಡ್ಡ ಆಲದ ಮರ), literally translated to Big Banyan Tree, is a giant approximately 400-year-old banyan tree (Ficus benghalensis), located in the village of Kethohalli in the Bangalore Urban district of Karnataka, India.[1] This single plant covers 3 acres (12,000 m2) and is one of the largest of its kind. In the 2000s, the main root of the tree succumbed to natural disease, and thus the tree now looks like many different trees.
