I have ordered Kappa and fish curry through swiggy today. They sent stale Kappa with fish curry. The Kappa was so old and smells very bad. I wonder how people can sent this type of food. At least we are humans that consideration should be there. Definitely not recommending this restaurant.
Had stew and pollichathu. Both were nice. Especially the stew which is low in spices but full of flavor.
Stale food. Also, some items did not have salt. Please close this restaurant.
Nice place for Kerala style food. Meals in noon are best.clean hotel.Chicken kabab is very bad. I had ordered three times and kabab was not tasty. Other that kabab I like food which I had ordered. Kerala parotta and beef fry is nice combination. Their service is good. Google pay is not there, but they accept cards and paytm.#hotel #restaurant #keralastylefood
Tasty food, a must visit place to those who love Kerala cuisine, their porota and green peas curry is completely natty.
Decent food. Place is currently under renovation. Only takeaways
I Just Ordered A Biryani OF 3packets But It Doesnt Seems Like A Chicken Because The Piece Are Tasting Different Very Worst Experience Its Not Worth At All
Kind Of A Cloud Kitchen. Not a big dining Place. Good food.
Quality of food is not good. Felt like served with old meat. Dish were sweet which no where felt like kerala cuisine.
Clean and Spacious hotel, I had good kerala style biriyani here.
Worst experience. Food was the worst and I received plastic from Biriyani , Fried rice had no spice, felt like they had just added salt . The duck roast was tasteless and felt like they had served old food. Spent almost 700 rupees and we have ended up with eating nothing . Guys, please serve food with good hygine and quality and think somebody is eating that .
Worest and not a neetness
Awesome food and good staff
I have been to this place for a weekend lunch. Me and my friend had Kerala meals and it was a decent one, but I didn’t felt like it’s a must try restaurant. They have a good menu of non veg items and i have seen people coming with family there. The meal which we got was good and someday I would try here for some other dishes.
Taste of dishes used to be inconsistent. At times too damn spicy. Yet today ordered beef roast and fish curry and got delivered with fish n beef curry. Last day of order for me.
Pathetic and 0 hygiene. Found insects and hairs inside the dish weve ordered. Also horrible service. Before ordering, we checked the availability of wheat porotta and its price since the item was not present in the menu. Bearer said it is 18rs and its available. Hence we ordered 8 of them along with other non veg dishes. Finally when the bill came, they added 56 rs extra, saying that the price is 25.When we argued that we confirmed before ordering. The owner/cashier is asking whether we have proof for that and were not ready to reduce the bill, even after the guy who took the order admitted that he said its 18rs. The owner was acting like a local goon.Never ever go to this so called restaurant which loots people and provides unhygienic food.
Pathetic service and food, no manner of customer service. I went for lunch with friends and we got our food and found mosquito and cockroach in food when we showed to them they dont react, its like normal situation for them, they dont mind.So I strongly recommend dont visit Green Pepper.
One of the non hygienic restaurant. And worst place to take food.People are very careless not sure to recommend such restaurants in future.
Its was ok ,not tht great but still ok
You get proper kerala meals. Veg and non-veg available. But once was served with cold rice. Stopped visiting hence.
Great good , good service
I did place an order today via zomato for Erachi deep fry. This is not the first time I am placing an order for the same item. But this time the taste was horrible and I also asked my friend to taste the same.It was like the oil used for preparing Erachi deep fry was used earlier to cook fish or something. The meat was not only tasteless but also was smelling bad.Upon contacting them to report the issue, they informed me that they wont take the responsibility of their food preparation. What a bizzare customer care they got. Thanks for the services and I wont recommend this restaurant to anyone from now on.
The food is overpriced. The staff and service is very bad. None knows to behave well. The staff and the owner was very rude. The food is definitely not worth the price. Its a waste of time and money never ever visit this place guys.
Kappa nice
One of the best for Kerala Cuisines.
The mushroom masala and veg stew are really delicious and the appam is very well made. The service is a little bit slow but the food makes up for the wait. Go early if you want to have the idiyappam
If you like sea food nice place for your tongue. Neither its a common Kerala hotel
This is the worst restaurant. Beginning of 2020 started with the most pathetic foods and services. We ordered food, we got the plates in a jiffy and we got all the dishes after 45 mintues but it was served cold. Keep it up Green Pepper Team.Attention To all the future customers!! I would advice you all to carry your mobile phone if you are planning to use the washroom. Because you might get locked out in that precious washroom from outside by the staff over there. (My friend was a victim)The food taste and quality was soo bad, we even thought to swiggy food from the neighbour restaurant.
Good Kerala food. So tastey and cheap price too..
Has some great authentic Kerala cuisine made to perfection. Erachi (buffalo beef) Fry and Roast are excellent and a great accompaniment for the well known Kerala Porotta. The Kerala meals (using brown rice) gives a feel of real home-made Malayali cuisine.
One of the usual places to hangout. Ample number of tables. Good food. Serves Kerala cuisine. And most crowd might be keralites. Liked their biriyani. Not so common these days when restaurants serve 3 big pieces of chicken with biriyani. Biriyani is good here. The restaurant is on the top floor. There is no wheel chair accessible entrance. Relatively easy to find the place on a moving vehicle. Might be able to park cars if its not peak hours . And they do serve meat 😅
Beef roast was nice with chapathi. Good place for kerala cusine.
It is one of those hidden gems in Bangalore for all those craving tasty keralite food. The menu offers variety, the service is pretty much quick and the ambience has a relaxed casual feel to it... overall, a must visit!
Food is just delicious..idi appam end nadan chicken along with motta roast tops the charts.
Nice place for weekend dinner crowd music nice staff
Horrible.. Vey expensive and they charge GST 18% not worth the fish we had which was 280 for a slice.. Felt looted and not filled when came out of this place.. Not worth the price..
It is Located in HAL Stage 3. Backside of indiranagar. The restaurant is famous for Spicy Kerala cuisines. North Indian & Chinese menu also Served.Good for quick snack, Coffee & Tea.Non veg like prawns, Crab, muscles, snails, Chicken, mutton, പോത്ത്, available in variety of dish.it is in first floor.parking is bit an Issue.staff is well mannered & helpful. The food served is healthy &hygienic.Slightly expensive.
Good Kerala meals.. Silver fish was nicely prepared.. Rightly priced...
Today that is 9 feb 2020 i went to green peper and had a cup of tea with banana fry. Afterwords i packed my dinner with 2 kerala porotta and beef fry. But i had such a bad experience that the beef fry had a foul smell like a dead body. Hotel manager denied to accept the clientale complaint in an improper manner. Foodies be cautious while ordering from this restaurant putting in front of u with bill number
Good place to get Kerala food. I mostly visit the place to grab some lunch - rice and assorted other side dishes prepared Kerala style. The place is quite spacious and well lit. Located first floor overlooking the main road
Nice appam. Very good and prompt service. Stew rice is recommended. Sea-foods are also worth tasting. Not so costly. Okay seating.
Pathetic...I had been to this place just once and that was it.. I had ordered for appam and beef curry. The appam was crispt and good but the beef was like ying-yang..half of it was fumingly hot while the other was like taken out of the refrigerator and served right in front of me. atleast heat it well before you serve.
Authentic appam and puttu ka dala. Tea also very standard good quality
Tasty and spicy Kerala dishes are available. But it is not a hifi setup, nor even the ambience. So are the service too, you can go in if you long for some spicy Kerala dishes.
Good place meals and birayani is good but North Indian food is not good
Ordered egg masala for breakfast, full of color, and high level salt. We couldnt eat a single piece. I washed the egg several times, but color is still there. Just think how it will perform to our intestines 🤪
Nice ambiance, nice taste and nice quantity of food but the service is very late
Very reasonable price and variety available there..
Good option for a Kerala meals on weekend afternoon. Their seafood and meat is amazing. But service has to be quicker
Good food , good service.. all in all great experience.. mallu food at its best . Should visit early afternoon so that you get Sooper fresh dishes.. their fish curry and porotta is epic place looks a bit rusted..would highly recommend this place for good Kerala food..
A great restaurant with a good malayali(Kerala) menu. A definite choice for lunch, snacks and dinner. The staff is attentive and serves fast in most scenarios. Theres a good seating area divided into 3 areas. Parking is not available so if you are getting vehicles will have to find spaces in adjacent lanes.
Good food with reasonable prices.. Must try kerala porotta👌
The restaurant was not much for ambience but the food was authentic and the service was very fast. Would have preferred to have the fishes without the bones but i understand that the traditional preparation comes with the bones. Also, the waiters seemed underprepared to explain dishes or recommend. Good food average experience
Pathetic food...ordered through swiggy yesterday night....earlier also, a couple of times I called them personally & convey my negative feedbacks...they talk politely all times but not in execution....better avoid
Good Kerala food and also pocket friendly
Have been to Green Pepper many times. Its one of the know place where the Kerala cuisine is being served and I am visiting this place almost for past 2 to 3 years. They never disappointed me interms of quality and portion size. They have an array of items to try from which includes almost all the varieties of sea food, chicken, mutton ,beef, kada, duck etc...One downside what I have noticed is that this place doesnt serve dosa or idli while typically many Kerala restaurant will do.Must try: appam, parota with fish mapaz or fish Molly ( coconut milk is the main ingredient). Its delicious 😍😋😊!!
Green Pepper serves quite authentic Kerala cuisine. I liked their fish curry and Malabar Biriyani. The pricing is quite reasonable comparing to taste and quality.
Food quality is good. But when you order online, cost is too high from the menu offered for dine in and quantity is low...and for dine in, the service is worst. They will make you wait for 30 min at least before taking order and then another 30 min for serving foor
Good place for Kerala food, service is fast. My expectations were not met when it came to biriyani, it was highly recommended by friends. Also paid for 2 pazhamporis and came back home to see that they kept only one.
Nice place for kerala food lovers
The taste and all got changed... Its not the old place used to be with tasty food.
Ordered for Malabar chicken curry. It was too creamy and white in colour. Didnt taste coconut milk in it though.. I felt yucky..🤐
I frequent this restaurant for breakfast. Generally good food if youre sticking to veg / breakfast items. Must try - Appam, Puttu, Veg stew and Kadla curry. Avoid non veg food, especially mutton items, including mutton biryani - the mutton is either chewy, partly cooked or stale one reheated.
Nice place for Kerala style food. Im a vegetarian and I liked many of the vegetarian dishes. Apam, Kerala parota are good. Apam-Kadala curry/green peas masala is a very good combination. I liked green peas masala a lot. Little spicy. I have enjoyed the food. Thumbs up.
Please dont have any sea food items from here including fish. Got a really really terrible food poison from here 3 months back and I am suffering ever since. Have been visiting hospitals ever since the food poison. I dont even want to give 1 star rating. They are such low people to serve rotten/week long old food to its customers.
Good delicious food, its Kerala food. Try fish polichathu...
Rude behaviour from staff.dont even know how to treat customers.worst restaurant that I have been to.dont even deserve 1 star.
Never been there. but a regular customer. atleast thrice a week i make orders for kerala meals. the food is delicious. best place to order your meal specially the sweet they give with the meals. the quantity of rice is perfect but the quantity of sambar is less for the meal. its one of the best restaurant to have kerala meals.
Good restaurant. Famous for Kerala food
I think its a very good place for indian cuisines. The non-veg curries here comes with that indian spicy and tangy taste.
Mainly a kerala restaurant. Food is nice. Online delivery available through swiggy and uber eats.
Best place near 80ft road to experience Kerala cuisine at a reasonable price
Very bad experience with restaurent.... Beef fry with foul smell and stale food ....And the restaurant people even not accepting their fault... And they denied to take back the stale food.Dated 09 Feb 20 time 2200 hrs...
Went to this place after seeing all the good reviews but was disappointed! The oonu (veg meals) was tasteless. And to top it all, they served us spoilt squid and tried to cover it up with a lot of pepper.
It was very good previously, but now food taste has changed for every item. Its upsetting really. If they bring back the taste which they had previously , it would be awesome
Very nice food
While you are in Bangalore and you are craving for Malabar style homely food, Green Pepper is the place to go. Situated at Jeevan Bhima Nagar, this restaurant is highly recommended.
Cheap but good quality Kerala style food
Its a beautiful place! I loved the golden fried prawns there! Ever wanted to have a cheap and good lunch or dinner? Do try this place out
Here the kerala food is Very tasty, and price is also not too much high
To savour your taste buds on Kerala porotta and good beef , u can visit here. Always had good taste from here..
It is a good place for authentic Kerala Food. Costs are slightly higher. Overall the place is good and food is great ! Keep an eye on the final bill they give you though.
Good for Kerala style food but dont expect home taste.
