Absolutely loved the place! A group of 6 went there on a Sunday afternoon so place was barely 50% full.Service was amazing cause almost anything we ordered cane within 10 mins. Chicken wings, chicken nachos, mushroom cheese poppers were the usual but Tiger beef was their USP :DBudweiser Magnum tower would easily suffice 10 glasses for a cost of 1800. So yeah, it was an afternoon well spent :)

Good place. Will go again. Had Bao - different style here.. More like big sized dumplings..however taste was good. Someone told me that this is the style for NE India. Fish and chips was good too..with a twist - banana chips. Also had tiger beef - again good.

The monkey bar trend continues to Indiranagar. Its your typical Tuesday night or Wednesday night place offering tapas and light courses to eat and of course, a fancy and extensive bar that hosts a great line up of domestic & international liquor.This is one of the very few places where they dont piss down the cocktails. We order LIT and to our surprise, it came pretty potent.The food here is good and the service here is exceptionally good.Its a not-so-brightly lit up place, but its good enough to see everything important.The price could have been slightly cheaper & hence the 4-star. That being said, Im definitely gonna be there again at some point.

Theyve managed to figure out that elusive combination of flavors that you expect and flavors that surprise you, and thrown in enough quirky presentation to keep you on your toes. So yeah, thats goodThe service is ok. Nothing to write home about, but not iffy either.The cocktails tho, well, theyre definitely meh. Yeah, they do their own infusions/bitters/whatnot, but then they drown the whole damn thing in enough simple syrup to lose the fun. Then again, I guess thats what they want locally...Oh, i should mention, it *is* a wee bit expensive, so YMMV

The best thing I liked about this place is excellent quality of speakers. And to my fortune, DJ served the best of songs in smooth blend. The place offers a variety of drinks (they have Mon specials too) and most of bartenders do an amazing job (to eyes as well). Food is average, and so is the ambiance. What can (or cannot) be improved is seating space - too less for its too many customers.

The spirit is amazing and the new menu has been launched here across the country and in Bengaluru, its only until 24 of this month.Monkey bar is where many people have had their first cocktails including me, their new cocktails with a twist to the classics are definitely amazing. Have you ever heard of Rasam Mary? Well, this even looks like a Bloody Mary too with a round masala papad on top. Adorned with pepper on the edge of the glass, rasams roasted red chillies, vodka and Indian spices with a tinge of tomato made this cocktail messemerising. Juicy Martini, as the name says one can feel slight notes of pear and high alple notes in a normal martini. Also, one should not miss sip me tender which has citrus and run infusion,giving us a tangy flavour which is just a treat on the tongue for citrus lovers.To start their meal, one can begin with Meen Pollichattu, which is a typical Kerala dish, where fish is fried and wrapped in a banana leaf; basically, one makes use of karimeen from the ocean, here we find it made in locally sourced fish. Onion cheese kulcha!! What more to say? Dealt with awesomeness. Panner tarkari shaslik, as fancy as it sounds, the dish looks fancy too. The Central Asian shaslik substituted with cottage cheese where soft grilled Panner has a burst of flavours. Kasundi Chicken, how many of us do not prefer a chicken tikka? This turmeric marinated meat is perfect to end your starters.When we get into mains, we can have a Barnyard Veg Burger is a perfect delicacy for all the Vegetarians, firstly burger to bun ratio is perfect and we wont get an extra bit of bun or patty in the end. Thai style chicken is not new to us, the dish has perfected well. Gundruk prawn rice is a peppery with prawns tossed in and goes very well with the fried rice, the Vegetarian version has small peices of veggies chopped in. Well, we all love Chicken Ghee Roast, here we can have the delicious Mangalorean dish in a Bao. The consistency is perfect, where the Bao is made so well that there is no leakage of gravy from the ghee roast, this can be termed as one of the fusions executed and delicious than the original.For Desserts, one can blindly put their bets on the amazing Eton mess.

A nice place to relax and have friends over. The staff is extremely helpful and supportive! The drinks were nice, food was hot and served with a smile. All in all, great experience. During this visit, there was a Kolkata food festival special too.

An over-rated resto-bar with horribly rude staff, average food, sub-standard drinks and cocktails. The place is so cramped and congested that the staff will brush off your table every time they will pass by. The only reason people would be visiting this place is to booz&dance. There are way better places in Bangalore with superb service, delicious food and great drinks. Not at all recommended!!

Ambiance is great, you will enjoy the most if you go in a grp. There is dj at night but no dance floor, you can just shake your legs near your table. Food is good, specially the burgers and mushroom dishes. Though prices are bit high, they have a lot of drinks options. The staffs are very helpful and there is ample sitting available.

Monkey Bar has always been on my list of places to visit, until recently when I wanted to catch-up with friends we ended up here unassumingly. The General Tso’s Paneer was perfectly sweet & Spicy and we loved it over the strong drinks. The Jalapeño Cheese poppers were just perfect.I was too full with the starters as an early snack, but my friends did say they loved the burgers out here, this place definitely deserves another visit for a catch-up soon...

Crowded on weekends but much less on weekdays. Some great non veg starters, good cocktails and funny coasters.Apart from their fully loaded nachos and French fries, their unusual meal bowls are very good - capturing food from all parts of the country. Particularly nice is the Yakhni Rice combo and the Shorshe Ilish combo.

Went here for breakfast on Sunday morning , it was certainly good!!!The name board in front is very small, so I couldn’t notice it, even though google said you have arrived I went ahead and back a couple of times!!!You are welcomed as soon as you enter and shown to your seat. So Service part was very good, many bars are hesitant to serve water but it was not the case here, Service was pretty quick too and helped us out well in ordering as well.Started with banana nuttella pot shake, banana flavor was very evident, needed more nuttella, egg hollandaise was good, muffin was cooked well, nxt came egg xacuti curry, it was very good, must try if you like eggs and a bit of spice, then we got Pav bhaji cheese grits which was alright and red velvet waffle. The waffle was topped with a lot of fresh cream and nuts, maple syrup has to be eaten generously as it was a bit bland. Ambience was nice. The music couldve been better but decent enough. Smoking is not allowed inside and theres no smoking room either, so smokers have to step out to smoke. The cocktails were amazing! The staff was a bit stiff at first but they loosened up quickly.

Visiting here for the second time on a friends recommendation.The place is road front but difficult to spot easily. Use google maps to locate. They have tastefully decorated the place and the music was spot on.The menu was unique and prices were not too heavy on the wallet. We ordered the Pack A Punch and Seven Kingdom LIIT. The drinks were pretty simple and to be clear, the LIIT was too diluted for my taste. The portion for LIIT was also more making me stop from ordering another one.We had the Pork spare ribs and the Breakfast burger which a basic Grilled Chicken burger. The ribs were tastefully done but I would have preferred some lesser fat which made it chewy. The sauce was spot on and the chef could think about adding a dash of poppy seeds to add a flavourful twist.The burger was recommended by the Staff in place of the beef burger that we wanted to have. The meat was grilled nicely and the fries were crunchy to an altogether different level. The salad on the side accentuated the palate and was refreshing.The star of the evening was the Nutella and Rum Chocolate cake. It was simply out of the world. The picture says it all though. It was moist, the vanilla icecream was delightful and the rum after taste just made the day.Overall, I would say this place is a must visit if you are around.P.S.- If the management is reading this, please do make your signboard easy to spot since another restaurant Fatty Bao takes up all the spotlight.

When I entered this place, I got a good vibe and it was true. The music was getting louder and louder. I had an amazing time, DJ was just amazing. I didnt eat much, I ordered a Pao Bhaji which is unusual to order. As I tried my first bite I loved it. If you are looking for a good time with a crazy crowd then this is a place to go.

Liked the overall setup of the place. The bar downstairs with a dance floor. And there are seating arrangement upstairs from where you get a view of the dancefloor and the DJ is at the same level as you are. Havent tried the food here but liked the look of the place and the crowd. The music made you feel pumped.

Monkey Bar definitely merits its place as one Bangalores best bars not only due to the variety of alcohols on offer, but also its pop culture themed, dimly lit ambience. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the quality of the multifarious cocktails make it worth the price. The mains in the food menu is surprisingly inexpensive (well, relatively). It was one of the very few popular places not to have an entry fee on New Years eve and the staff were really polite in accommodating us. The music selections are really good, which will leave you shaking your head to the beat.I would say the only negative is that they have a smokeasy indoors, which almost always spreads to the whole bar. Barring that, it is a great place to let off steam.

A hippie place with good food and good drinks. Has good seating options and is usually crowded in the evenings. The food is decent and is reasonably priced. The staff always seem to be busy but are friendly. The Ambience is set up to be grungy with dim lights. Parking should not be a problem. Reservation is recommended.

They tried to make the ambience more rustic and natural. But it doesn’t quite feel so. There is a pool table. The food is good but the prices are high. The place is not very easy to find and there is no rush. The music is a bit loud for those who want to go there and have a conversation. Overall an average place to visit
