Lovely auditorium with a beautiful open garden area. Good aquatic with and a very comfortable 700+ seats and a large stage. The beautiful lawn outside the auditorium with a huge tree was a beauty to witness.

( See my Photos of programs )So I given 5 Stars.We conducted a program here in 2015 June A TRIBUTE TO SWATHITHIRUNAL.I could interact with admin, staff , students and parents of Sangeetha Sabha.As per the feedback and my own experience I am giving 5star rating for Sangeetha SabhaWe got very good support from admin and staff of Sangeetha Sabha. Very ideal place for classical performance. Good ambience. But parking is a big issue here. Way side parking. Finding out the place is difficult. . Bus facility is nt dependable. Have to come own vehicle ( remember, for parking you have to struggle) Nearest Metro station is IndiranNagar and Swami vivekananda Rd.From there more than 2 kms by auto or taxi.Here providing facility to learn classical performance s. Like music Dance and instrument music.

Good place for Carnatic music. There is a good auditorium and large classrooms in the basement. There is a park where parents of students can enjoy when their children are enjoying the classes.

Circular type of auditorium of about up to 300-400 capacity including balcony with good decor and nice acoustics. It has limited public car parking, but little hidden from the bustle of Indiranagar in a calm residential locality where one can park the car on the road side.

Great place for learning vocal/ instruments/ classical dance. The place is located in heart of Bangalore and has serene atmosphere and a great aura about itself.

Medium sized auditorium run by an NGO in Bengaluru. Schools and other such organisations hire this building for their functions etc. Located in the residential area of Indira Nagar its a good choice.

Purandara Bhavan is the auditorium within the Indiranagar Sangeeta Sabha established in 1986 basically to promote Indian classical dance and music...the auditorium has the right kind of acoustics and aesthetics...suitable for musical and dance concerts...can easily accommodate close to 300 people I suppose...proud to say am a student of this prestigious institution and have had the privilege watching musical concerts in the Purandara Bhavan here...the Sabha is celebrating annual celebrations in January 2020 and has organised a series of musical and dance concerts from renowned artists...a must watch for fine arts lovers...

A very good place for the exhibition of Musical Talent

Those who are seeking admissions at Sabha especially for Carnatic Vocal Classical Music please watch out for the right teacher your child wants to get trained under. We Parents are serious about moulding our childs future. We do lot of jugad in picking up and dropping waiting etc.. Its a huge challenge for working parents and kids especially as they try to balance their studies with passion for music. I had a very bad experience with one Vidhushi Vani. I enrolled my son here in December 2019 Batch. Since then until we changed teacher not only the classes were irregular but the timings were erratic. When I addressed my concern on Whats app group the lady said I should approach her personally and sort this out. When I approached her she categorically said if it doesnt suit us we should look out for another teacher. I chose Wednesday n Friday 6 pm batch as I am a working Mother. At 5:15pm she messages and says class at 5:30 pm I had to rush back from office to home to get my son to classes. Reasons for not conducting classes are infinite and very obvious. Second time I approached her she said she is unable to sit for 3 hours for 3 batches, she travels from a very long distance, she preponed the classes as she had a request from a parent that they have had booked a movie tickets etc... While I did request her to allow my son to continue till I figure out a teacher who could give a focused and disciplined classes and then I swap...my son was told not to continue with the classes and go see the office. We were removed from whats app group without any intimation to us. When I called her up to check why we were removed from group without intimating us she just cut our call. Very Unprofessional ways. I did write a letter to President and trustee members at sabha not sure if the letter has reached them. Finally I shifted my son to Vidvan Rajappas Class. My son is much happier and I am tension free. Sabha Committee should work on continuous feedback from parents on regular basis to enhance good experience for parents and quality teaching for our kids.

Amazing place for small to medium private gatherings - school, organizational events; skits, speeches etc. Nice seating. Good stage.Parking can be a problem. No eateries or snack counters around.

Sabha office staff especially the two old men who manage office are extreemly rude with Parents. Initially during admission I thought its their admission pressure but by nature they are like this with most of the parents. They literally chase parents out. Very uncultured and uncivilised ways of communication. Lot of parents who come to drio their kids are working professional and otherwise too they need to talk to people with gentle and not just bark at them. It gives a poor image of sabha.

My kid is studying Carnatic Vocal for the past 3 years. It is a well managed institution which has reasonable fee structure. For those who love to learn music, it could be vocal or instrumental, it could be Carnatic or Hindustani, this is one of the best places in Indira Nagar, Bangalore.

Indiranagar Sangeetha Sabha organises traditional and cultural programs like carnatic, devotional bhajans, classical dances etc.

They keep changing class timings n days. We cant plan any other activities for kids. Its become very difficult. They dont have proper planning. Classes are scheduled for 45 mins, but they finish in 15-20 mins n it gets over.
