Not much items now. Few years back it was amazing. Now its mostly useless

Very poor selection of items. Most shelfs were empty, or sparsely stocked. Might be the pandemic effect, but I had to make a lot of compromises while shopping.

Staffs are good in sales but products are less.

During my childhood, when pastries was a rare and luxury dish, I still remember eating pineapple pastry in the basement. Was feeling proud and royal, whenever I used to eat it.

Good place to get you everyday needs. Get lots of stuff not available in other super markets. A bit inconvenient though as there is no parking.

Opens Early in the morning. Lot variety of products are available. Utensils, food, dry fruits, fresh vegetables, grossary, stationary etc are available.

Handy convenience store with a good variety of products. get amongst 2 litre water for a really cheap price compared to hotels and cafes. they accept card payments too.

Some of the Staff here are really rude, others are nice.. no consistent training!A lot of shelves are full of junk food.Jayanagar Nilgiris is much better though they have no vegetables.

Yesterday i visited the store. employees are becoming so careless. There are cockroaches roaming in entire vegetable section and i really dont know what the hell management is doing there. I strongly suggest someone should do surprise check over there. Its really pathetic bcz of few careless employees such an old brand image will go down.

I ve been a loyal customer of nilgiri. The staff are very ill mannered and don’t know how to deal with customer in this nilgiri. I urge not to shop from this nilgiri. Even 1 star is too much for this mart.

Some items are 3 time costly than MRP or original items, without any value addition it is too much. I purchased Morde make dark chocolate compound. Original MRP is 92 and sold at 280.

They will not give fresh items

Its on the opposite side of the building shown in Google. Good variety and a welcome relief in the middle of multiple clothing stores. Good variety of local and imported food. A small bakery just outside is good for the sweet cravings as well.

This is a very old place. This is my most visited place from childhood. They have got their own customers from beginning. This will always be in list for my normal purchase. They got their own brand items which I like the most. The service is great. The staffs are really appreciable. Parking space is available. I prefer their own products which is worth and valueable. They will always remain the old and best.

The staff is giving preference to Hindi speaking customers, rather than the ones waiting in the queue. Very very bad customer experience and service, even after 40 years

Nilgiris always stood for fresh and good vegetables. But from the last couple of times its been the worst experience. First when we ordered them online and yesterday when we visited the store personally both the times the quality of the vegetables was really bad and there were worms in everything we bought.

Bought a product at the store and when we came back, realised that the product expiry date was up and the frozen product was rotting. In the day and age when online banking is available and instead of being customer friendly, the store has asked me to go back to them(the store is more than 10 km away) and they will replace the product.

One of the oldest and still functional super market in Bangalore located at the heart of the city in Brigade Road. Don’t underestimate the store by its look it has some of the best items as well as the selection of the products are good and so is the choices. The nilgiris brand products are good and the variety is large. Shopping here gives you a feeling of being a part of history as this place is running since 1938 and is one of the oldest supermarket chains in South India.

Not clean washroom was very dirty. All the bacteria sure to be present.

Currently very badly stocked. Many because its the festive season coming up thats why the shortages. I came away with just three items from my grocery list.

This supermarket is a great place to shop various groceries. However, they dont accept UPI payments, they wont accept e-wallets and have a minimum card swiping amount of Rs.100. A good way to enter 2019, Nilgiris.

This is too good for purchase snacks food and drinks and home needs also available here.

Used to love this store. Lately the staff is lazy and extremely uninterested and uninformed about the products they keep. Had a horrible experience, very disappointed.

Excellent store for daily home needs. One star less for non-functional/non-effective air conditioning. Another star less for placing a security camera directly above the credit card machine. It is obviously recording the PIN you key in or the CVV number of credit/debit cards if not covered. Careful guys !

Nice mall you can get the fresh products here but discounts are less.

The flagship store on Brigade road is the perfect place to pick up groceries, baking needs, baked goodies, and many more things. Backed up by loyal, helpful and courteous staff. Popular with locals and expats too. The store has only improved with time. I wish they would restart their momo counter that served their authentic and affordable momos!

Another legendary Nilgiris store is located on Brigade road. I have been shopping at this store since 1989 and have never had a bad experience. Great selection of products and genuinely great service to back it up.

A much smaller store. Was expecting more organic stuff & A2 milk as well.

I have been visiting Nilgiris regularly since I joined college in Bangalore in 1991. Used to come here for only cake and pastries during those days. But in the past few we have been picking up groceries also from nilgiris. We get good quality stuff at a very reasonable rate out here. We usually visit their store located in brigade Road.

Nilgiris pastry used to be our childhood favourite. Oflate they are using cheap business tricks. For instance we bought samosas and one bite- to our nausea it had stale gooey filling. I am feeling sick ever since. And the pineapple and almond pastries were as hard as cake from a village bakery. What a pity!

The fruits store at the entrance has very high quality and also very rare fruits difficult to find elsewhere. The cafe at the basement offers good tea coffee and samosas pastries etc. Good quality .

Variety could be better especially on cheese.. could not get feta or parmesan.. used to be there earlier.

Has moved to a new location but the character of the earlier location is missing. But still you have an excellent selection of groceries, toiletries etc.

Some staff there are very unhelpful. Some of the staff are really nice. They dont want to do their work. When asked for help, they make a weird face and show attitude. Ive had the worst experience with their checkout counter staff.

Theyre famous for a reason and youd know when you visit their store. Fresh bakes to fresh veggies, they have it all!

Purportedly, the oldest Nilgiris in Bangalore. Not a large store but all daily need groceries are available here. Quality is great, but prices are high. Location is excellent.

No one responds even after asking 5-6 times.. they are so lazy to even mark egg and eggless cakes. No one is at the cake counter. Horrible service.

Large selection of daily use items. Their handmade chocolates and chocolate coated biscuits called chocouit are best. Also courteous staff

If you dont find your grocery item anywhere else.. call this guys. their friendly staff will help you out. they have a big collection. Will be littler costlier but they are also known for their quality product.They also have imported items like food ingreds and foodstuffs.

Now its moved from the old place to just opposite the road.... You need some time to locate where the stuff is kept.... However the staff are very helpful.

Poor stocking. Theyve also lost the old world charm they had. Disappointed.
