We had an appointment for our childs passport application today. We went there on time and the WTC security personal turned us away stating that the consulate office has been closed for several months. We came from another city and had to go back unattended. Phone calls went to answering machine and no response to email so far. We booked an appointment through the consulate website which does not state the office is closed. Unfortunate.

When I went to the consulate. Security person said that the consulate is presently closed. So before going confirm this and go.

I have an emergency and can get zero assistance.. I am in Bangalore and I am continually being connected to a call centre in Delhi who have been of absolutely no help. When I arrive personally at the consulate at 12:00 I am informed they are closed and only available after 4 days. This is an emergency and involves an 82 year old Canadian citizen.You service and assistance have been of no help and frustrating amounting to an abuse of a Canadian citizen.I intend to take up this matter with my MP and the Canadian Foreign Service. I am appalled at every level.

As per their website they say the processing time for your transit Visa application is within 11 days. Its been more then 20 days but the status still shows my application is submitted. I have an upcoming flight on 22nd Feb and I dont have my passport with me. I am unable to get in touch with any official who could help me with this process. No reply on email as well. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the service offered by Canada Consulate office.

Update In Google office is open but its actually closed when I checked
