Its a very good hostel for travelers in transit through BLR and are looking a place for stay. The rooms are decent, washrooms are clean and there is a kitchen that can used. The caretaker Narad is helpful and even the owner Darshan sees that your stay is comfortable. Would definitely recommend for a day or two stay.They have this very cool switchboards graffiti across every room of the hostel.

If you are looking for a comfortable hostel along with clean beds and bathrooms ,this place is great for you. They also have a kitchen with utensils. We had a comfortable stay as they were also flexible with timings. They have separate dorm for girls and give option for mixed dorm as well.Thats all 😁

One of the best hostels in Koramangala. Been here a couple of times. It had a great vibe both the times. Clean. Airy. Good Ambience. Terrace. Always filled with interesting folks to chat with. Has got a coworking space as well for those who wanna try Coliving and coworking.

Best hostel to stay for single day as well Months. More than the facilities, the people there are Aaosome... The facilities are a comfortable bed, clean and hygiene bathroom even though sharing. There is a kitchen if u want to use u can get ur own provision and cook.. you shall use the washing comp. if you staying for more than 15 days otherwise they charge a very minimal rates... the environment inside the house is very calm and you get a positive vibes... I really njoyed my stay for 10+ days.. it’s a dormitory type people might thing whether their belongings will be safe, trust me during my stay all my valuables I used just leave it on my bed or sometimes keep it on my bag which can be accessed by anyone.... special thanks to Manju who was the care taker and a very special thanks to Mahindra who was the main incharge... ones again my special thanks to everyone... looking forward to stay there again...

So many positive things to say - I especially love the room! The balcony is so nice to hang out, the bathroom has a bathtub and shower and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meal. They even have a washing mashine, which I liked a lot, since not a lot of hostels in India have it! The area is great, lots of restaurants and Cafés/pubs around. Everything great, a nice place to hang out :)

The location of the hostel is perfect for anyone who wishes to explore the newer parts of Bangalore. Lots of extremely pocket-friendly and good eateries nearby as well. The hostel itself is on the first and second floor of a house. The rooms are spacious and hygienic. The common areas are what take the cake though. The team has kept board games, comfortable furniture and other such common resources to promote mingling. There is a kitchen as well that guests can use to cook vegetarian food. A mini store within the hostel sells emergency toiletries, instant noodles, and the likes. Hygienic, well-kempt bathrooms too. I checked. Very important. All-in-all a great location and more importantly, warm vibes thanks to the people around.

Please do not waste your time thinking about. Just book and stay here. Such a nice hostel and cool atmosphere. What makes it awesome is that a young group who takes care of the guests as if they are for more than 20 yrs. All the best for you guys. (I stay here often and cant review every single time I stay u see). Aao is my all time favourite.

The people here are really good and nice.They helped me throughout my stay from assisting in kitchen to making it feel like home.They had a lovely environment where there are a lot of board games and occasionally they played cricket as well.Last but not the least,it was really clean and comfortable.You could spend your peaceful time reading novels from a good collection of books they have.Will recommend it to everybody.

Very good location. In a quiet side alley, many shops, restaurants nearby. Clean. Nice terrace. Manshu - the caretaker - is very helpful and available for all queries. Wifi is quick. Unfortunately we ended up in two beds in a room also used as common area only separated by a curtain, having booked a mixed 4 bed-dorm.

In my experience the best budget friendly hostel in bangalore, the management are a bunch of outgoing friendly people who takes good. The washrooms are clean like, hygienic and equipped with all necessary amenities including bathtubs and geysers. The environment is clean and comfortable, got to meet a lot of interesting people from around the globe. The quest and management sits together chat, laugh. They have good entertainment systems also. We watched movies on the projector during my stay. Played a couple of board games with the guests and owners. All in all, a fantastic experience and a homely atmosphere.

Very Artistic And Pocket Friendly Hostel With Clean Beds And Spacious Washroom However There Were Too Many People Using A Single Washroom And Some Permanent Working Official Trying To Trouble The Daily Renters For Their Convience And To Get Rid Of The Crowd. The first time that I stayed in a hostel, and the experience is just wow. Management has done a marvellous job of bringing travellers together looking into smallest of small details from space, cleanliness to utilities. No issues at all anywhere. The manager Darshan is a very nice and friendly guy. The vibe around here is very positive. People dont give u an unwelcomed feeling. No offline bookings are done. Fully professional. The property is meant for solo travellers and thats how they keep the spirit alive.

This was the first time I booked a backpackers hostel. Being an ex-yatri from Jagriti Yatra, I knew Aao would be dependable because Mahendra has been connected to the Yatra as well.The stay was so comfortable, and such a value for money deal, that it made me question each time Ive spent 5k on hotel rooms for a night.The best thing about this place - The folks you meet and the conversations you have with them :)

A neat, clean place, with large rooms and clean washrooms tucked a short way off the main road, insulating it from noise. Warm welcoming host. Request for an early checked in happily agreed to at no extra charge.Well located with plenty of hotels close by which is handy as the place does not provide breakfast. Value for money certainly. Perfect for solo travellers or a bunch of friends whowant a safe friendly place that doesnt hit the pocket hard.

The whole joint is off the hook. Truly a backpackers hotel.Cleanliness - found negligible dirtiness here n there but totally a bang for the money.Company - Well it suits travellers who are in for a day or two in this humongous city. Not just suits but its a great placeKudos to the whole team who make it possible here. 👏✊

The hostel is just really nice, felt very welcome my whole stay (one week)! Manju (the host) is just the best - chill maadi!Also the location is pretty nice. Lots of good restaurants. Definetely try one of the 99 dosa varieties from the Street vendor on the Main Street (3 min away).

Location and basic ammenities provided were good. But could be still improved by providing individual spacious lockers beneath the bunk beds, charging sockets and bedlamps for each bed, smoking zone, etc.. Overall the maintaneance and staff behaviour were noted to be good and friendly Recommended to visit again as per the location and rate charged

I m T lover and used to have strong T in the morning. In Aao hostel whenever you want you can make your T and coffee. Hostel provides T/ coffee powder ,clean water, gas . I carry my coffee cup everywhere but hostel provides cup too. Amazing.

I had a very comfortable stay. Its neat and clean and has friendly staff.You can check in any time. Stay as long as you want.Total value for money. I would say best for backpackers and travelers who come in to Bangalore for 1or 2 days. You can get very comfortable stay in this hotel. All rooms, kitchen, rest rooms are very clean . Location wise it is good as many restaurants are just 100 meters away. Bus stop is just 200 meters away. I m going to stay again and again.

After staying here there`s a thot- Does anyone still need a hotel room? I mean it is the coolest, chicest and trendiest place to stay in Bangalore..... At initial stage when I came here on 21september 2017 ,I thought it would be really hard for me to stay in a hostel with so many people,As Ive never stayed in hostel. But after staying with Aao I can happliy say that hostel is great. And when you get to meet a hell lot of people from around the globe you feel so better. I booked the hostel for 4night but I again booked it till 2nd oct. The environment and the people are the best host youll get in Bangalore hostels. Its more like a home. A peaceful, happy and lively place. I had a peaceful stay for almost a week. Both Narad and Sharath were so glad to help all the time.

A nice place for shorter stay... They have some bunker beds which could be shared by 4 in a room... I just found 1 bathroom amongst 2 rooms for 10 people to share, and the staffs are just dumb... But still I am giving it 4 stars because the owner of the place was nice and very courteous... But if I face the same problem again, i might rethink of my review.

Aao hostel is very clean. Attached is a photo of kitchen. I found everything in kitchen e. g. plates, bowls, glasses, utensils were clean and nicely arranged. Rest rooms were also very clean. Aao hostel is value for money.

The worst experience and hostel ever! The so called caretaker behaves like he owns the place or he pays for us. Next, the entire Management is so rude and ruthless and they give so much importance to their long staying guest “Daniel” aka “loser”This not a hostel but a dormitory with curfews and rules with no logic.The bathroom is so dirty - you wouldn’t even want to enter. The bed is filled with bugs and the rooms with mosquitoes. Totally sick and nasty place. Guys pls stay away from this place if you wanna live in peace.Finally, one of the founders has no brains and talks without sense!!!

Drinking is not allowed at any part of the hostel. Its a big turn off.You cant take sleepers inside so. you will have to go barefoot to bathroom.No good area to sit.

Run by good people . Somewhat clean and in a good neighbourhood. In one floor 12 beds and just one bathroom, but you can try the bathrooms in other floors if urgent .they have a kitchen with refrigerator.

Amazing thing about this hostel is Laundry services are also provided by this hostel and guest dont have to go anywhere else for laundry services. Washing machine, iron with table is available in aao hostel and guest can avail these facilities. Washing machine is paid facility , for one run they charge RS 50. Ironing is complimentary.

Horrible service. Guy had an unpleasant and agitated persona in reception. Its also dirty. Backpackers ran away. Theres even a curfew that isnt stated before arrival. Its not a place for adventure but a place for people who study and only cares for saving money.
