We went there for marriage certificate. If you go with all the documents listed in the photo that I have shared here, then you can get the marriage certificate issued on the same day, only in few minutes time. Also, there were some language issues as we did not know Kannada, but we could manage speaking in English. There was a couple before us, we asked them about the charges, they said they paid INR 1000. We went to enquire about the charges from the head of sub-registrar office, he said it is INR 300, though online it says only INR 25. At the end, after handing over the marriage certificate, the concerned Govt. official asked us for fees. We asked him how much is the fees, he murmered something, we told him that we have spoken to the Head of sub registration office and he has told that fees is INR 300. We gave 300 and then he accepted it.

No proper sitting facilities it is located in first floor with no lift tuff time for senior citizens special need people and offcourse forget all covid rules no social distanceing nothing masks is a dream horrible place with in flow of so many people can actually move to bigger space....🙄

In a week minimum 4 days Franking services will be always out of order. Don’t go for emergency work.

I went there for marriage registration.1st visit - Front-end office lady was polite and informed about documents required for marriage registration which included DOB proof, local residence proof on government id, marriage photo and 3 witnesses.2nd visit - Went back to confirm the documents and were asked to additionally provide Aadhaar of parents of both bride and groom; and 2 passport size photos.3rd visit - We collected all the documents/photos and again visited the office. The person verifying documents was helpful but quite arrogant. He asked for a 2B photo which he never mentioned in our earlier visits (??we had to run down to nearest photo studio to get those clicked as we were determined to get the registration done in this visit). Then he asked about registration form. We were like you never gave us one. He handed over the xerox copy of registration form and asked us to get another xerox of this form and hand over the original xerox back to him (omg!!). He also intentionally spoke in Kannada all the time although he knew we are from another state and hardly understand the language.Finally, we collected all that was asked and proceeded to sub-registrar desk. THIS LADY WAS SUPER ARROGANT, RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL towards anyone who doesnt know Kannada. She was like if you want to get marriage registration done here, you must know the language. It looked like as if she is doing us a huge favour by signing the registration form. We had to keep calm as we wanted to get this done with. Long day, took 5-6 hours to finally get the certificate.Listing all the documents that we had to submit to get the registration done. (Fee - 500 Rs)1. 2 passport size photos (bride and groom)2. 5 2B Photos (bride and groom)3. Filled-in marriage registration form4. DOB proof (bride and groom)5. Aadhaar proof (brides parents and grooms parents). Also acted as witenesses.6. Address proof (bride and groom). One of the addresses should be local7. Marriage photographs ( 3 photos)

Went for marriage registration. If you have all the documents, process is faster and they treat really well.

Meant for Yeshwanthpur and surrounding area. The previous one which was near Yeshwanthpur market is closed. Very informative people, they know English and kannada and other south indian languages. Some of them knows hindi also. Your work should be done on the same day as we experienced for marriage registration. The only drawback is they dont have contact numbers so you might wanna go for any enquiry as well as to collect any form. We printed one form online but got to know that was not valid in the office.

At least you need to spend maximum 5 hours at this place , Even at era of 2018 still this office is facing server down .
