Things seemed to be very different when I visited this time. Everyone was very helpful and efficient. There is of course a lot they could do to automate more of the processes online, but I was surprised at how smoothly everything happened when I visited. Everyone, right from the parking attendants to the senior officers, were helpful. The mood at the RTO seems to have become a lot more pleasant overall. Glad to see this. Like some others have posted, we can indeed get work done smoothly without going through brokers.

Perhaps only RTO office in Bangalore, where anyone has to pay to enter the premises to show your vehicle to RTO or to do any thing in RTO office. They charge Rs.30 per entry to the premise.Govt should ensure no charges are levied if one goes to RTO office

There is lack of guidance in the smallest things to do here. Its completely infested with brokers and agents working their way through the process and policies of the system. Quite unfortunate that even though Bangalore is among the most popular cities in South India, its very very difficult for a local or outsider to get his job done at the RTO OFFICE.The has been a delay in the cancelation of a simple hypothecation process and it has take me a month to get this sorted and sometimes the staff is on a adhoc leave, leaving your case at the mercy of the other case workers. Too much of clerical work and hundreds and thousands of paper sheets are stored here. Not sure, if they are accepting digitization.Some of the staff who work here are truly appreciated and helpful, whilst the others seem to be partial to the agents and brokers, who feel others standing in the queue are not important and can just barge before your turn comes.They dont seem to be in attitude to help and thus is simply because of the daily work nature. Hundreds and thousands registrations per day make it quite hard.If you are planning not to choose a middle man or a agent to get any job done at the RTO, then think about it again. Since you may be asked to run around from pillar to post.The above comments are purely based on the outcome of my personal experience and related to the operating of the existing system. Its my thoughts and opinions about the same.Second Saturday and fourth Saturday they are closed. Government Holidays are not operating.

Improved very much. All things are done online. Don’t fall prey for all the brokers roaming there. Just log in to pariwahan site and apply. After submitting all documents online and payment online, take printouts of all documents and then go. No public toilets there. Take appropriate time slot and go there. Parking is a pain. Better bmtc bus or cab for going there.

The lady at the helpdesk was very helpful. You can get your work done without going through a broker. Try it here.

Unlike earlier occassions, this time the whole system was warm and co-operative which is a good sign. I congratulate the officers and staff who worked hard to attain the present standard.

If the vehicle stand for 5 min in rto office u have pay parking charges. Since its a government official why taking parking charges.and they are some 5 person s who are stopping the vehicle. Better to keep a security. Worst management

Services have improved by heaps and bounds... I recently got by bike NOC when I was moving out of Bangalore. I followed the online submission process and did not involve any broker. Following is the detailed experience:What went well:1. I saved money - In total I spent 400/- INR for getting bike NOC. I moved from Bangalore to Jamshedpur. The broker was quoting ~3K.2. RC delivered to my native - I paid postal charges upfront and the RC was sent directly to my native (Jamshedpur)3. Experience with RTO employee - While following the process, I meet 4 RTO employees and all were helpful and clear in their updates. They guided me on what was missing in documents and were quick in their jobs. Special shoutout to the lady staff seated in the 4th Floor counter of NOC section (she is the one who verifies documents while submission)4. Parking facility - They have paid parking and sufficient space for two wheelersWhat could be improved:1. Centralised information - It would be good if they can put up charts stating the set of documents required for each task. The current charts have outdated information and most of them are Kannada only (Charts in English along with Kannada would be of great help!!)2. Queue management - There are multiple counters adjacent to each other and people cannot form straight queues because of lack of space. This results in overcrowding and folks barge into the counter in out of order.3. Scope of Online Process - I feel much of the process can be done online but not sure of the challenges involved. For taking NOC I had to first go to Commissioner office in Infantry road and then come back with a seal from police. Though this was quick and fast but it did take additional time. If such processes can be centralised it would be of great help4. Building Infrastructure - The current infrastructure should be improved - the current one has a haunted look.

Parking is the main problem here, but the people there are maintaining the parking lot easily. Very much crowded.

Hypothetication termination process:1.Fill the form at online website parivaahan.2.Pay the fees with application number generated above.3.Take a postal cover with appropriate stamp pasted on it.4.A file and small cover to put all relevant documents.(Available in the nearest shop)5.Relevant docs:5.1.Two original copies of Form35(Attested by Financier).NOC if bank provides.5.2.Original RC card.5.3.Payment receipt(Step2).5.4.Updated insurance copy.5.5.Emission test copy(New vehicle not required).5.6.Postal cover(Name,Address,phone number).5.7.Aadhar card xerox with self attested.6.Collect acknowledgment receipt after submission.If followed these steps,no need to bribe anyone.

A typical govt office where there is no sense of time, or effort. But the complex is very streamlined all shops for all needs for you to get the work done are there in the complex.

A decent govt regional transport office (RTO). Plenty of car parking space and a lot of rto agents are available for your help.

Congested. Unofficially pay and park facility available. RTO office is situated in a complex where many shops offering various services such as Xerox, printing etc and many agents who will get your RTO work done.

Firstly I would like to thank the state government for getting rid of all the brokersfrom the premises. But at the place of taking photographs for the licence people are breaking the line. People know to staff are being given preference. When questioned we are sent back and files are rejected with silly reason If govt could collect the plastic card fee online it would be of great help.

The best thing about RTO office in Yeshwantpura is that it is close to the Gayatri Temple - may the blessings of the Goddess remain with this horrible building.Yes, its bureaucratic and randomly vicious, but the people are actually helpful, despite being handicapped by antiquated systems and depressing office spaces. I saw some very helpful City employees in this building. Hope you find them too, if you must go there for some work.

Worst RTO ever. There is no one in HELP DESK to answer our queries. No officer will entertain without outside agent with whom they can do money adjustments. Agents will demand high charges for RTO services and they pay share of the amount to inside officers. Inside office, no one will answer your queries if you had made payment online or applied online applications. Worst place

Right from the entrance till the top floor where the officer sits everyone here is corrupted. Only looters, even the inspectors dont know to talk. Everyone here owns his attitude. If u go without an agent they will mistreat u n if u r with an agent u r already looted. Worst , deserves negative rating. We give so much of one time road tax what roads do u provide? Pathetic behaviour, Disgusting. Never go for this. Officers also loot u. Corruption at its peak.

People are friendly and guided me. I went for hypo removal and dl replacement. But the online process of doing things is not so effiecitent. Since there is still a lot of paper transactions needs for anything which you need from RTO.

Dirty, pan spits in public lounge, disabled ramp from basement to ground floor ,crouded lift, only one lift with capacity of7 people,no distance maintained. No control over entry of public, more public than staff, no punctuality control , old style attendence control. Very bad hygiene mantenance......& Many more

Arrogant staff , dont bring ur car since there is no parking space most of the time, lot of brokers inside office, my advice apply online for LL test manually, its not that difficult, u will save money. Lot of YouTube videos are available with instructions

Things are fast through the agents and there is enough space for social distancing, got enough room for parking as well.

This is like any other Government office. There is limited space for parking. 2 wheeler is suggested considering parking problem. Most of the people were in mask. There are circles made for social distance but this will not change behaviour of we Indians :-)

Congested, it is a mess. Parking absolutely not possible for 4 wheelers and may get for 2 wheelers. The road outside is too congested.

Least hygienic!!The touts and middlemen/agents thrive. The online is a sham as its not end to end. The reasons are obvious.Even God cant change this. Very regretful.

Parking space is very huge and paid parking available, there sooo many stalls available in the ground floor who can help you get the LL, DL AND REGISTRATION etc with soo much extra chagres they take to get the work done. You always need to go through these agents only otherwise no body cares if you visit the office Directly and even u go also it will take a lot of time to get the things done.

It was very frustrating. I booked a slot but print out message for the slot was not coming in spite of many unsuccessful attempts. But finally met RTO who helped to get things done. The system is over loaded. Being senior citizens, we have to run between floors. Will the IT department look into this matter. How many can meet top officials to get their job done??

Its quite well organized place for rto work. It has paid parking space, all required shops for rto related work within premises. Its very convenient to get job done if you ask right questions and understand whole process. There are agents who ask for hefty amount but I guess if you are smart , you can do most of stuff yourself and close everything on 2 visits. Dont expect work to be over in one visit as its a govt office.

RTO seems yet to crumble. The public services with people on either side of the table are surprisingly continuing to give a lackadaisical service and paralelly generate the money, for the rulers and for the cronies around. Good going indeed, not only by design but in practice too. ... Am still looking at the remote remote possibility of merited people providing quality and instant service, for which the whole structure was created.

The process is not on time and done late and no facility for the customer this should change

This place dont have wheel chair access, at least elevator should be there. This is really pathetic to see government officials dont care about disable persons. The crowd management is not upto the mark.

Had been for LL registration at the RTO office. Appointment was at 10:30 but exam was allowed at 11:30. Everything else was fine.

Whoever is reading this. ..Its really easy to get a license, rc card, IDP, please dont let any agent there fool you..If you have no idea what to do then follow this steps..1. Just visit the Rto ... And go to any floor and talk to any anyone who is working there and get all the information about the documents required to get the RC or license... 2. Bring all the documents the next day and find the xerox place on the ground or the first floor. They will fill online forms for you and then make a file for you with all the documents inside it. For which they charge 50-100. All you have to do is submit that file and your job is done.

It needs many improvements... especially acknowledging applications. Do ask for acknowledgments as otherwise they will not give.

I went there to get my LL done and it was through a driving school so the process was smooth.

Under the present scenario, all services can be availed online. Any clarifications, approach directly, with little more patience, which always yields lot of returns, in awareness and money wise with great satisfaction.

This one rating is very enough.Never seen like this.Yaswantpur RTO is worlds most WORST RTO.The staffs,department assistances etc are worst,non sense people,dont know how to behave with others.Even how much we will abuse to those jihaadis,is very less,such type of bootlickers basted non sense worst they are.They doesnt deserve any rating.

Compare to Jayanagar RTO, Yeshwanthpura RTO is calm and not crowded.

People are Lethargic and always follow non customer friendly approach. Wasted my entire day to get some simple thing done.It will take another 2 decade to change their approach.

Pathetic service. They have misplaced my application and give all sorts of excuses.

One easy way to renew the license that we try out is reach out to a driving school - pay a lumpsum amount and the driving school will ensure that the license is renewed. In order to understand the steps required - I reached out to a driving school nearby. Understood that various steps are involved as my license was issued by RTO Yeshwanthpur Bangalore in 2000. The steps included : Backlog entry of the license (which ensures that the license is digitized) ; Change of address ; Renewal of license. Total cost which the driving school person asked was Rs.4000/-With the fantastic experience that I had at the passport renewal, I embarked to try out on my own for license renewal as well.First trip to RTO Yeshwanthpur on 11th March 1030 Hrs. One helpdesk lady guided me clearly to the counter with a copy of my DL and Aadhar. The counter was empty ; the lady at the counter asked me to write down the phone number on the DL copy and asked me to come on 22nd March. No fees required for backlog entry. Total time at RTO = 10 mins.Second trip to RTO Yeshwanthpur on 22nd March 1500 Hrs - the lady at the same counter said that everything is done. Reach out to the ARTO and he will approve. Met the ARTO (I was second one in queue) ; He asked me the date that I submitted + name - gave a number to the person sitting adjacent to him, who entered the number in PC, ticked a couple of things and said that am all set. Backlog is done and I can proceed with the renewal online. Total time at RTO = 20 mins.Back home - checked on the Parivahan site - was able to retrieve my DL details. Proceeded with online renewal forms. Above 40 yrs - so had to get a medical certificate in Form 1A format. Scanned DL, Aadhar and the Medical certificate required for the application. As per my new address - the application was directed to RTO Yelahanka. Online paid a fees of Rs.557.50/- including credit card charges. Setup the biometric for 25th March.Third trip to RTO Yelahanka on 25th March 1000 Hrs - the security at the gate recommended me to take all the documents in a specific file. The file, self addressed envelope and plastic cover for the DL was available at a store in front for Rs.50/-. With all the documents was directed to a counter. He verified all my documents, initialed the same and asked me to proceed to biometrics. Photo clicked, sign captured and the biometrics guy provided me with a hologram for Rs.60/- (Official fees). With the entire set went back to the counter - where they made an entry and gave me an acknowledgement. The DL will reach home within 30 days. Total time at RTO = 20 mins.Very clean and well maintained RTOs - Both Yeshwanthpur & Yelahanka. No one swarming around you. Clear help and instructions to the various counters and procedure. Very impressive !!!Fees for DL Renewal and Address Change = Rs.557.50/-Fees for Hologram = Rs.50/-Cost for Paper file and Printouts = Rs.100/-Satisfaction of getting done without paying touts = PRICELESS !!!!

Had been to the 2nd floor, on 1.3.21, for LL LMV, The current officer who is head an in charge, he checked the original documents & asked few traffic signs, I should thank RTO for bringing in such officers he was very polite & humble to almost everyone.

Heights of corruption, when one approaches a desk to submit all documents in order, they ask us to wait but at the same time agents directly walk inside their cabins with lots of application which is given preference, God only knows when will all this stop.

Covid protocol not followed properly

Parking at this location is unpredictable.Those who want to add another class of vehicle to an existing DL, follow the procedure below to obtain LL in the new class of vehicle first:1. Fill up the online Forms & upload all necessary documents, photos, etc.2. Make payment online and get the acknowledgement.3. Go to room no. D1 on 2nd floor between 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM with all the documents for verification.4. For those above 40 years age, Medical Certificate has to be mandatorily uploaded. If you are not carrying it, go to any of the photocopy shops on 1st floor.Before the actual DL driving test, follow the below steps:1. Fill up the online Forms & upload all necessary documents, photos, etc.2. Take driving test appointment, make payment online and get the acknowledgement.3. Carry the payment receipt, acknowledgement slip, application form & appointment slip. Carry also the vehicle RC, insurance & pollution certificate of the vehicle you plan to take the test on in original along with copies. Go to counter D6 on 2nd floor of the RTO for verification & photograph.4. Proceed to counter D8 after photograph is taken with the originals for verification. After verification, the file will be retained at counter D8.5. Visit the Peenya driving test track for the driving test.Good luck!

Its wise to reach there by 10am as the staff starts by 10am and the shops also opens by 930am. I found shop no. 66 new india good. The parking will be available in rto parling for 4 wheelers till 1030h thereafter look for multistage parking. Or go by ola . The enterence of multistage parking is a bit inconspicuous.

Yeshwantpura RTO still the same old building, I got LL, DL and now Renewal of DL happening at the same after 20 long years.

Lethargy and corruption seems to be the order. DL renewal after on line porting and physical submission of application done, no dispatch of the renewed n activated DL even after 40 days!Reason given- wait till comes by next week. Nothing short of beauracracy.

If youre going for straight forward procedure, process is smooth. If youre going for any alteration/duplicate /correction then each person working there acts as if theyre doing you a favor.It is high time govt take drastic steps as it took in passport office. Which was the same twenty yrs ago and now its the smoother facility Ive seen.RTO needs to adopt that. They dont have the basic decency to speak to another human. Corruption is just taken for granted. It starts from parking and end till you submit the documents. No one bats an eye if they softly keep 5-10rs change from every single person.

Completed the online application, submitted necessary documents online , and went to the RTO with the documents needed and thats it Done .

Its a NO CORRUPTION Zone. Work Gets done quickly once started, though starting might take time. A single Window system might make it more efficient.

Nothing special. The office I wanted to go is located in that building. I could able to locate and complete my job.
