Geist was on my list since a while and I finally visited the place on a Sunday afternoon. I would definitely suggest to make reservations beforehand. The place was full and bustling with people. The brewery is located away from the city traffic and the hustle bustle which makes it a perfect getaway for the weekend. They have ample space for parking as well. Once you enter the place you’ll notice how fabulous the property is , it’s really well maintained and spacious. The open green ambiance is breathtaking. One thing that makes Geist stand out is the super fast service. All our orders were taken care of really fast. The beer was freshly brewed and priced reasonably. They have an extensive food menu that has some favourite local starters and a wide range of pizzas. While the starters we ordered were all delicious but I felt the quantity was a bit less for the price. I would recommend trying the burgers here which are served with wedges and a beetroot based sauce. The desserts were my favourite part. A must try has to be the tres leches which was lip smacking.To conclude : my experience here at Geist was a very great one. A long drive to the open beer garden, freshly brewed beer, delicious food and great vibes made it a perfect weekend.

A great place to spend your time. The ambiance does not let you worry about anything but just lets you relax.I happened to go here when it had rained in the afternoon, which made the evening very very pleasant.The food is also really good, but a little on the higher side to your wallets.A place recommended by me for any family or friends meet.

Happening place. Nicely located away from bustling city. Ample parking space..u will like thier open ambience . Banyan tree was solo geist welcoming the guests .They have enough space to expand. Staffs were humble but they are falling short in managing the footfall especially during weekends. If you are going in group during weekends reservation are must.Coming to brew, they have good variety of beers. Food was decent. Service has to be improved.Importantly for all pet lovers, this is a pet friendly brewery. You shall bring in your loved ones. 🤣🙂Definitely must visit

A lovely place to hangout with friends and family. Ambience is well done and well lit, outdoor seating available with a lot of greenery and nature. Staff are polite and friendly. Food is very tasty. They brew their own beer which is very good too. Well maintained place with clean facilities.

Beautiful place with a lovely outdoor ambience and chill atmosphere. The food was very tasty, especially the veg starters. The non veg starters fell a little short, the Smoked Chicken tasted a bit undercooked, but overall still better than a lot of other places. What stood out among all this was their service. Super quick service speeds, bringing the food and anything else we required much faster than we expected. For the drinks, the place speaks for itself, its known for its worldwide famous beer, so if thats what youre coming here for, dont think twice. The place has also allowed pets inside the restaurant, so if youre a cat/dog lover, youre in for an extra treat. Overall an amazing experience, and something you should defientely try on your next outing

We went in to this place on a Friday Night to grab a 2 Ltr Beer Keg to enjoy a Friday night at home.The place is easy to find right on the main road and has a big parking place.The place was packed to the hilt but there was a lot of spacing between the groups to take care of the covid influenced spacing requirement.We also grabbed a quick round of fresh beer right on the spot and it was bang on target. Pleasant and good after taste.The keg was packed wonderfully. And the fizz lasted well into the night. It was fresh and as good as the beer we had over the bar.

Bangalore East has got a new & big place to hangout & for hangover. 5/5 for the ambience & space, 4/5 for beer options/price but 2/5 for food options/price.Inspite of being on Old Madras road highway & right beside Orion Uptown mall, this is place is calm, serene & beautiful both during day & night time. It has got a huge parking space, which will not let you feel that you are late. Seating options are plenty & in 4 parts/styles... So you may get one you want. If they could add further eating options & keep its prices realistic, it will see more of the likes. Pets are allowed as well which gets mixed reactions. Overall a great place to visit in any combination.We look forward to some Happy Hours concept as well to get more reasons to visit here.

Nice place where you can sit back, relax and enjoy your brew! The place is on the Old Madras Road and quite big, they even provide a buggy ride from the entrance to the sitting area - but it’s not far to walk either! (Takes less than a minute). The sitting area is under a lot of trees and done excellently. They have quite a good collections of brews and food options. Though we didn’t explore the food more, brews were good. And it’s a pet friendly place as well, which is a great thing!

Its a great open air place which is pet friendly so ticks most requirements in a post pandemic world.The food is quite good with options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. The selection of beers on tap and takeaway through growlers and cans works well. Did not try the beer cocktails do cannot vouch for that.

This place is newly opened in Bangalore, in the old Madras road before Holiday Inn express. We visited the place on a weekday afternoon and it was just awesome, the staffs are courteous and friendly. The concept and design is very nice. its an open air place and covered by 2 big trees. The menu is very limited to pick from, but has good variety. The quality is lip smacking. Would recommend this place. They are still working on making the dinning place big. However, the first impression is very nice.

Being a fan of German Hefeweizen, i can certainly say this brewery serves authentic Hefeweizen. Brewery itself is inspired from German Brauhaus. Beer, Food, and Ambience everything is on point.

Word will not do justice to this place. Went on a Friday rainy afternoon to this gorgeous place tagging my pet along. It was a long drive for us but was totally worth going!First things first, my pet was cared for with water and food bowls, lots of petting, curd on request (since I mix it with water to hydrate my pet). The staff were super friendly and my friendly dog had an awesome time. Many to our luck who had come that day were also pet parents or pet lovers and it added to the wonderful day.The beer is fantastic, fresh and awesome. The tasters were wonderfully laid out and explained. Its hard to make your choice post tasting. But its a beautiful place so you can sit for a long time without any hurry and slowly drink as many beers as you wish.The food is just right if not perfect. The chicken angari tikka was perfectly spiced for a rainy day.Special mention to Namma khara bun :) It goes perfectly well with the beer.I could sit at geist all day with my pet, drink fresh from their factory and soak in the place eating Namma khara bun 😁Must visit place!

In an invite to a birthday celebration we ended up in Geist, a place that I have been planning to visit for ages.The place looks fabulous, huge, open, safe and hygienic. When the sun goes down it’s even more beautiful, more during sun down, a perfect place to hangout with a couple of drinks and some lip smacking food.For starters we ordered a mix of nachos with dips, paneer tikka, sabudana Vada, absolutely loved everything, the salsa with the nachos was just perfect, tangy, sweet spicy and delicious with the nachos made with sorghum or more commonly the corn or Indian millet.In mocktails I absolutely fell in love with Coco Van, a concoction of coke, brewed coffee and a tiny tinge of vanilla, a bit like Vanilla Coke (which I don’t like) but made superbly better with that coffee, a must try here. The coffee is strong and I must have gulped down at least 5-8 glasses, and couldn’t sleep till 3 AM, so indulge responsibly.The Litchi Iced Tea and Fruit Punch were excellent too, but the coffee lover in me made me stuck to just my dear Coco Van.For mains, me and wifey decided to order a pizza & a burger and share. The spicy mushroom and corn Pizza with Thecha was great, though the mix of peppers and garlic in the Thecha was not too spicy to handle as per my standards, but definitely a delicious thin crust Italian pizza to indulge without guilt.The Soy Mushroom burger was beautiful, red buns, courtesy beets used for colouring, crispy patty, that had a very grainy soy and mushroom mix, with mild Italian flavours, at least that’s what I got, the Thecha here too was mild and didn’t overpower the meal, absolutely fabulous was the beet connection in the sauce, earthy, slightly sweet, Beetroot ketchup was just what was needed to elevate this vegetarian burger.A Fantastic place to hangout, slightly away from the city of Whitefield, definitely worth a drive for the food and drinks.

One word - Loved itSo this place is near Budigere cross and at first I was skeptical about how it would be, but I was amazed when I entered it.Beautiful , soothing ambience , hospitality , food , beer everything top notch .Can easily spend hours chilling at his place . So this is basically a brewery so no hard liquor guys , but the collection of beer is amazing.So in food we ordered -Achari chicken tikka, Spaghetti in Arrabbiata sauce , some French fries and everything was very good.Definitely recommend this place.

We went there recently and loved every bit of it. The staff was courteous and friendly. The food was amazing. The ambience was great. Everything we ordered met or exceeded our expectations. Their beer selection is right up there with some of the best in Bangalore and that’s saying a lot given that there’s a thriving brewery scene in Bangalore.Why am I rating them 4 stars then? It’s partly because of the location and partly for choice. The location although extremely accessible, is really far for south Bangalore folks. Given that you’d consume bear, you’d have to arrange for a driver to drive you through highway.I feel like although it’s a totally Beer focused place, they should offer some selection of wines. It’s kind of weird when you have people in group who don’t drink beer.

Nice place with greenery around. Quite a good distancing between tables helps with the conversations not crossing over. The menu is decent, can be better. Beer is good and a nice place for gathering. I really enjoy the afternoon under the tree which in itself is a desirable setting.

Excellent brew options. Seasonal grape flavoured brew was brilliant. Variety of options for starters . Angara tikka and hariyali chicken was just superb. A great hangout place to enjoy the Bangalore weather under a banayan tree with friends and family.

The owner was sweet enough to visit us and explain about different kinds of beer and also suggested a few.But, Beer was not upto the mark at all, we drove all the way from South Bengaluru to this place for 35kms and was a huge disappointment, we decided to leave to place after the 1st beer.

Good food and ambience. Anand and co-worker suggested the best starters and accomodated our requests. Beer lovers would enjoy thier range of brewed beeers :).

Visited this place for a reunion with some of my old fiends on a weekday around 3pm.Has excellent one of a kind ambience in Bangalore. Restaurant is in a large outdoor space underneath a big banyon tree and the seating is covered. It is a great place to have slow relaxed lunch, and enjoy both the ambience and the food. At the time we were there, only a few other tables were occupied, so we could all feel safe taking our masks out, and chat.We ordered beer, and snacks. Mainly remember the beer now, which was quite excellent. The have several of their inhouse brews.

This is a new place and very tastefully done. I have always loved their beer and it was fresher and better here even more. The restaurant is in the premises of the factory. The restaurant has a nice and airy feel with lots of open space and light. In the day it’s all natural light there is a big tree in the center and lot of sitting space.The menu has a lot of choices from Parathas to Pizzas. The are some interesting regional dishes and tried the Bihari Chicken and the baida mutton keema paratha and both were delicious. The beer was good and fresh and they had all the varieties.The staff was polite, efficient and helpful and the service was good and fast. A definite place to visit for good food, great beer and a fabulous ambiance

We shifted recently to old Madras road side from a very centrally located place and was feeling lil low coz of limited options around to hangout.Then we got to know about this place which recently opened and has such an amazing ambience.A place where you are close to nature with perfect social distance and ample of parking space but better drive slow buddy 😉.Food : It has become my 2nd fav pizza joint and other options are yet to explore ..For animal lovers,yes you can bring your cutie along as saw one dog yesterday

Well, there is beer and then there is Geist which takes the definition of beer and craft brew to a whole new level altogether.Now coupled with their beer garden experience serving exquisite food which adds to the geistronomy experience along with the brew tour and knowing how it all happens, this is as good as it can get.Cant wait for it to all open in full, till then takeaways and their Indias first offerring of Growler should serve the pallete well. By the way, you can see your Growler getting filled straight from the brewery right in front of you. Fresh beer, u got it !

Geist Brewery is a great place to hang out during early evenings and drink to pre-midnight for a party. The beer is very fresh and their craft beer can measure up to any world standard craft beer. The interesting part is their menu has a lot of food options though I was disappointed with the nachos the fish fry and kebabs definitely made up for it. The ambience is an open garden with huge trees where lights are strong delightfully around the trees to make itA very good atmosphere. The music they play is above average but it’s a perfect place to hang out with a bunch of friends having some good beer. The only problem is that if sometimes they get busy the food and the service does get delayed a little and the place is far off the main city but it’s totally worth a visit.

Beer is good and so is the place. Open , airy, cozy .. the food is decent. The pizzas were just above average. Wish they had some decent mock tails for the teetotallers !!

Amazing beers, great ambiance and good food. It’s quite a distance of you have to travel from south Bangalore, but if you decide to do it, it’s worth it! And don’t forget to carry their filled growlers on your way back! 🍻

Restoring the large beautiful trees n making them part of the decor instead of chopping them off for construction is a BIG plus for nature n food lovers

Beer weiss guy and James blond beer were served chilled. Provided the much needed cool for a surprising hot September this year.Pizza and caramelized samosa were good. Being a veggie, my options are always limited. My wife being opposite, had chilli chicken. It was ok ok.Whats interesting is the menu with items of South India (namma khara bun, madras idli chat) & Maharashtra specialties (sabudana vada).Crowded on the weekend. Staff somehow managed to get us a table and served well.Definitely a good place to hangout with friends and family.

All points mentioned here are from a visit on a Saturday evening... Not a random weekday visit.Lets strat with some of the good points1. The ambience is really nice. It has open areas and covered areas to seat the guests.2. Its got good food3. The beer is awesome since its attached to the factory itself.4. It is pet friendly so you can take your dogs with you.Now lets get to why just 3 stars1. Its really really far if you stay in the city. It is 14 km from the Baipanhalli metro station.2. The service is very slow.3. When we walked in, they put us on a waiting list and we never got a table even though walk-ins after us did.4. When we finally found a high table in the smoking area, it took them another hour to get us chairs.5. Being attached to the factory they didnt have one of the beers and the one we were having also got over. Very disappointing.6. They never called last orders. So the next time we ask for a refil they just said the bar has closed.7. They didnt even call last orders for the kitchen so we couldnt order a proper dinner.Overall, its a good place and it has potential to be great but the negatives would keep me from going back to this place a second time.

The ambience is really great , but I felt the food is expensive for what they serve . We had ordered a chicken pizza but no one really liked it because we hardly found chicken .About the beer , we all had James blond which has the most alcohol percentage around 7.7 in the drinks menu . But I have to agree the beer tasted really good and I would suggest anyone who wants to have chill time & drink good beer can always head up there .

Very Friendly and knowledgeable staff.. had the best cheesecake ever... much recommended for all the dessert lovers out there.. will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth... all the desserts were incredible

Very poor customer support. After long wait we travelled all the way to Geist based on the information available on Google. It stated closing time as 9 pm on 12th July, and we reached at the gate by 8.20. Security informed us that kitchen is closed and it was very shocking. I don’t know how they provide information in Google based on that people travel all the way to Geist.. Executive and Manager ( jyothish) came but after all persuasions,,, and wasting 20 minutes they said no to us( me, wife and kid) and denied service. Very disappointing indeed. My rating is not even one for this place for the service attitude and wrong information

Made a quick stop at Geist Brewing Factory today. True to its popularity, they had some amazing beers. We tried Witty Wit, UncleDunkel, Weiss Guy.. loved everything. Plus we tried Curry chicken and Pork Roast Toast.. very delicious.

Wish I could give 0 for the hospitality, we went with a kid for dining they allotted us a place which we didn’t like and asked them to change and they said if you want to sit , sit if you guys don’t want and if you want to leave , leave .This is how they responded as if they are giving food for free

Meaning of Geist is spirits- whichever way you take it. The beers were all awesome 👌. Tasted all the nine of them. Among them Witty wit, James Blond were the tops. Food was good though a bit pricy. Geist is worth another visit just for the yummy beers. Ambience was great and great service. Cute water kegs similar to growlers. All the pics I have posted.
