Beautiful, calm and in a rustic place. Its a good long drive from the Bangalore city. This form of the lord represents Shiva as a teacher of yoga, music, and wisdom, and giving exposition on the shastras. The temple has paintings around it that depicts various stories from the hindu mythology.

Very nice temple

A 400 year old temple which was buried under soil until it was excavated by the local residents of malleshwaram. The only temple which faces south. Has a small temple tank with fishes and turtles and a nandini which has an unknown source of water pouring out of its mouth on the idol of Shiva below. Set amidst trees it a nice place to visit and spend time. Do read the history put up on the wall.

Place for peace. No desturbence. And this is on of those temple where Dakshina Murthy is the main deity. It was known an Nandi Betta in 20th century. People of surrounding villages used to offer pooja here. One astrologer came to know that there are 5 banyan trees together. He suggested to establish Dakshina Murthy here.
