Dr Divya, psychiatrist, working in this hospital treats her patients in an inhumane way.I was cruelly hit and abused by the staff working under Dr Divya, when I refused to take medicine, when I was hospitalised in People Tree Maarga. She should be legally prosecuted and her license should be confiscated. Also it seems she herself is suffering from depression.Shes a blot to society as a woman and a human being. May God save others from her

I am sharing my experience with my problems.I am an 17 year old boy diagnosed with anxiety and depression.I started coming to this hospital from one year.I got treatment like talking therapy and medication. But it didnt solve my problems completely.I think other than this treatment mentioned above there is no any treatment available for my problems in psychiatry .what a nonsense problems is this for me .No treatment and no solution only for my problems

This was for online session. The staff is so rude over the call.To the hospital staff , you do understand that you re not doing us any favor and its your job right? People who call you will be emotionally vulnerable and by you being rude wont help at all.@people tree Please train your staff to at least have some humanity .The doctor that I spoke to was really good , he listened and suggested me some advice that helped me.

I do not know about the OPD, but the inpatient department under Dr. Divya is horrendous. There is no real treatment or family counseling that is done, and I have seen (and experienced) her disregard for a moral and reasonable practice of psychiatry. For example, after she said that I have no real mental disorder and that she cannot speak on family issues, she proceeds to speak in favour of other members of the family (things like given I stay with my family, I must follow all their whims as they OWN the place).Such disregard (and blatant support of other family members when she initially said that she cannot take sides) for the welfare of the patient; arbitrary rules enforced inside the IPD, and threats of not-releasing the patients (myself and others) outside--all foster an environment of fascism so to speak. She takes childlike polls on her moral policing judgements with her subordinates, who do not speak up against her in any aspect and since they want a job, agree with her.I had gone there voluntarily because of heated arguments with my parents and somatization issues (because of staying indoors for 6 months due to covid 19).My parents had dropped me off there, and as time progressed, my dad himself (with whom I had the fight) took me out as he felt the hospital did NOT seem to be trying to counsel or help ease the fight (Both of us felt they were being unreasonable to me; keep in mind it was my parents and I who had fought, now we realised Maarga was worsening the condition).I also saw many fellow patients kept against their will for weeks together, and the hospital seemed to feed conflicting, unsubstantiated and cruel judgements to their caretakers.Problem with such structures, where the boss is also a doctor is none of the other doctors will say anything against them. Basic economics. Hoping they will stand up and say/do the right thing at the cost of their job is wishful thinking.Dr. Guna and Dr.Nandini didnt tell Dr. Divya what they told me, and changed their stories as soon as Divya asked them.If MY plight was such in this hospital, when I simply have depression and anxiety (nothing severe/psychotic/etc) AND eventually had the support of my parents/caretakers, just imagine the other patients conditions!

Staffs are not accommodating though you have an appointment to see the doctor. You will have to wait for a couple of hours to see the doctor who will speak to you for only 5 minutes saying she’s very busy. Rooms although it’s a suite in spite of charging too much are not very clean! Inspite of telling the nurse to disinfect and put pesticides in the room before moving in the patient we saw a rat roaming around!! Not at all satisfied and very disappointed!!

Unprofessional. People handling appointments have no capability. One has to call several times before an appointment is fixed. Although counseling is for one hour, they scoot in 45 mins.
