My review is only wrt to getting covid vaccination here on May 9. It was an excellent experience with a clean hospital and courteous staff and with all covid protocols being followed. Want to share my experience in Bowting hospital when my mother was treated so badly. The worst experience I had in this hospital. Pathetic staff with i no experience whats soever. I had a feeling that so called doctors were unfit to be present during a pandemic. Staff who were a part of the team were worst than animals. Sorry to say this.who dont know how to handle patients ..Very irresponsible .No experience ..I dont think so they are even qualified for the job . .Even after the patient passed away they dont have the courtsey to hand over the body to the attender. The doctors and staff didnt know where the body is and after bribing one of the ward boys ashamed to say this even we got the body off my mother n law ...Such are the kind of people working ...here. sorry to say this

After a lot of difficulty I got a slot for covaxin here , I was in queue for verification along with 100 others as the staff had gone for lunch.When I was just 8-10 people before the kiosk they announced that the covaxin doses are over!!How can a booked vaccine be over ?There must be a major scam from the hospital or the bbmp because they told bbmp hasnt given doses they took booking for.There is no clarity of where the vaccine is given , total chaos even after booking in advance . The staff was rude as well!

While my mother was battlting for life on 30th april 2021 around 9.30pm we took her in the ambulance 108 which did not have adequateoxygen required for a critical patient to admit her in bowring hospital.lady curzon road. .shivajinagar. THERE Were two ward boys who displayed sheer negligence while taking her with stretcher on the ramp dropped my 82 year old mother on the floor who was already suffering with pain.after taking her in she was left all alone with no proper care .Also As we were struggling to find a bed we noticed that ithere were empty beds available with oxygen in the hospital..but during Our search we were asked to give all detailsfor registering for bed but we were denied of a availability of bed.But my mother passed away due failure of the current medical system .

Pathetic place.No care for hygiene.Very dirty.The linen in the wards is unclean, stained and unhygienic.There are no fire prevention measures.The corridors are unkempt.Broken wheelchairs, stretchers, chairs...🙏 🙏 The only good thing is that the hospital is providing to a lot of poor people.But, they have no choice and no voice.Whatever they are being provided is a blessing to them. 🙏 🙏

Hi I am jyothi and I am fibroadenoma patient because of corona we dont have money and I was surfing from pain people suggest Bowring and lazy Curzon hospital for bpl card we never hope. Government hospital may be to good but we went with hope and I showed my problem to doctor and doctor treat patients as family member they cl for check up and after operation doctor come to check the patient on time no angry with patients what ever the doubt doctor clear in polit manner and nice service. The hospital is too good. We never expected I can get option in corona time in bpl card. I suggest people please prefer this hospital to get well soon ,😊😊😊😊

Please be realistic, this is the only government hospital in the locality. Folks coming from village to checkup here so you should know how to deal with rush. Senior doctors are awesome, newbie doctors are not quite effective but they are young and energetic (i, personally value the tenderness). Registration part is hassle free but the payment part is hectic. Go early in the morning for opds, second half basically for surgical work. Dental department is very basic.

Worst hospital. My grandmother admited due to breathing problem, initial they tested for covid19. We got negative. So they given ventilator oxygen for 15days But they are not allowing us to see her . So we are giving some amt to the nurse daily to take care of her.after they took amt and fd.we thought she is fine they are taking care of her. after 15 day they said she is fine u can take her.but unfortunately After coming out from hospital we saw her wearing same saree while admitting. Even then did not change her dress , Her back was fully infected as she was strok patients she cant able to move they left her as it is not even change pamper due to this skin got infected hopeless ppl and while admitting she was wearing gold that also missing. Thank God atleast they given grand ma . Worst experience ever . As private hospital charging more we couldnt able to bear such a huge amount we went to govt hospital . Everyone was very nice, and it is nice to be treated well since you are the patient in need of help. Caring, smiling and laughing is good atmosphere for patients. They always treat me with tender loving care. First let me talk about the hospital : Hospital is very clear and neat, food is available for patients with 2 eggs a day along with rice, sambar & banana for free of cost. Food quality is very good and hygienic. Nurses are very good to patients except few who are rude in characters. Assistant doctors also do spends time with attenders in explaining the patients condition and etc which is really good and gives a good feel about the hospital and stuff.Lets talk about the in-chargers inside : Except female securities , everybody work for money (Commission) Start from cleaning aunt to high level. If a patients is taken to any tests or etc they charge Rs.100 per trip, so this is happening for every trip and every tests, people demand there for money, why ? is hospital not paying them salary? why are they asking ? if we do not pay them the amount what they ask they react weird, if in that case we have finance issues that is why we are getting admitted in Govt hospital, if these people take so much money offline then what is the point of telling hospital is less expensive ? there are so many poor people who suffer for food money etc. Aged people are coming to hospital they just have to get pension amount or borrow from someone and pay, every person is taking money below the table, i do not want to mention the names. God is watching everywhere. People are really broken this way. there are so many people who suffer without job, give them job & salary if we like their service, we will not give 100rs well give more than 1000rs.My humble request is please understand the patience pain and struggle for money and try to give a happiness to patience in return your team will get more than 100rs in commission from each patience.Sorry if this hurts someone, Please forgive me.

My mother expired due to doctors negligence, as she was admitted for COVID.My mother had COVID, and she was hospitalized to Bowring Hospital, and she had to face the below problems1. Care less Doctors: Doctors dint gave proper care due to which her situation got worse.2. No contact with the hospital phone number: i tried calling the hospital number mentioned in Google, but that number doesnt exist. And I somehow got the ward number, but they dont answer the call. That was the main problem.3. Gives false assurance: Doctor says that they were treating good, but if I enquired with my mom (patient), she said that the treatment is worst, and if she be here for some more days, she will die (this was told to me by my mother)4. Damages the health of the patient: I tried to shift my mother to other good hospital, and the ambulance was also waiting out, but they took 5 hours to shift my mother, I think they had already killed her and they sent her in the ambulance.5. Doctors are not trustworthy: please, I lost my mother by admitting her to Bowring Hospital, I request u people to save your loved ones, your family, and friends to go to other hospital instead of this hospitalAfter reading the above story, its your own risk if u want to opt for this hospital or not.Thanks

Karnataka govt has made it mandatory to get a Health Certificate issued by a government doctor when applying for a driving license.Take one photo, some glue, your blood group data, and filled in Form 1/1A to Room No-16 (just after the Information/Admission desk, on the left hand side, the very first room - at the main building very near the entrance gate - not the one to the right of the main gate).The fee with no receipt is Rs:100/ He will ask you if you have any health issues, that need attention - say, No.You DO NOT need to register with the Hospital. There is no other fee besides Rs:100 with no receipt. I should have taken photos of the place but my dear father took me, in his car, (parking on the road perpendicular to the gate) claiming the Dr was known to him.

The Doctors and sisters are very good, and no doubt at all. cleanliness is also better. I underwent uterus removing surgery. after the operation i was shifted to ward by ayah ( casual laborer on private agencies) . and simply they throw me on the bed and immediately they are demanding money RS.400/- In the same way operation theater ward boys are also demanding money from my husband when i was under sedation . Even Watch women ) not gate keeper, but ward keeper are demanding money, which irritates the attenders and patient. In the ward the water heater is fixed. but for that we have to pay to (ayah) . This can be done only by removing / change the house keeping / security agency only. Next time when you select the Agency be strict and do not expect any thing from them. so that they will have fear on the hospital administration, and this hospital will get No. 1. position in Karnataka.

Great place to stay. The place is bright and sparky. The staff is very courteous. I stayed here twice in a span of two months and my experience, both times was very good. The Asst. Chef Lokesh Ranjan is a very helpful guy, and you can request him to cater to to your special food needs. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

One of the oldest and best government hospital in Bangalore.This operates 24/7 and the treatment is free of cost including medicines and vaccines for infants.Its spread over a vast area so one should know where to go, which department and doctor to consult.There is paid parking is inside the hospital complex.

I visited the hospital for my kid they treated very well for my kid and very good treatment served by doctors and nurses only thing we have to take all the test done by our own. Compare to private hospital now a days government hospital are giving very good treatment and services also.

Worst service by this government hospital. I had visited for a leg injury. The doctors asked me to take an xray. After examining the xray taken at the same hospital they confirmed there is no fracture and suggested me to use knee brace. After 15 days and 2-3 visits there was no improvement and finally I decided to consult the senior doctor at same hospital. He examined and confirmed that there is a fracture. I informed him that your doctors have mentioned there is no fracture or dislocation but now youre saying there is a fracture. He suddenly left his cabin, went and started shouting at the doctors who examined me first. Finally they made me to wait for more than 2 hours and informed me that I have to undergo surgery and I will have to take 6 months rest. I just laughed at those bunch of idiot doctors and left the place. Now Im getting treated at a puttur center where Im feeling better within 3 days.Never recommend just wasted my time, money and moreover they put my life into risk. I was supposed to treat my urine and kidney related problems, but urology department was closed and visited other doctors in nephrology department, 1 doctor was constantly talking on phone, holding my ticket ... For someones reference urology department is closed on Fridays also, Emergency department 1 will do nothing about your issue as well... So what can I say, its how this part of world is working,and how its been here... And one more thing at ticket counter I told her I have kidney stone and urine infection related problems... She directed me to dept 22, dermotodermat...
