Lovely ambience and soulful music!Great place to work, or catch up.Tea quality can be better.
My favourite place for tea or coffee and they have nice ambience. Usually it is not very crowded
One of my favourite go-to places in Indiranagar. Cucumber green tea and Kufri Sticks always make it to my order. I also quite like their Chicken Patti Samosa! Also , the swings in the outdoor sitting area are cozy and perfect corner for gossip!
Its a really pretty place to go sit and work or chill out for a bit. got a few books to read and good tea and coffee both.
If you are tea lover.. Then not the right place! Will not appreciate even the ambience because inside it was good, but in entrance, full of smokers. Not suitable for family.
Good place to hangout with frien especially ordering and sitting outside and enjoying the nice climate. I would like to give 5 star but that shop manager was too arrogant and he doesnt know how to talk and behave with customers, even I asked him I willl take few pictures for Google reviews he was telling only stupid things without taking some nice pictures how can we reviewer will give review, even the Shop owner also wont do too much.. rest place is awesome , posh , spacious, peace...
Tea taste could be better. Nice and happening ambience though. The aroma at the place is particularly good .
Very good tea, u will njoy it a lot, cost is on upper hand but cost and taste both sync together, try again it once if u visit Indiranagar. Try cream role of this place, u will not find such cream role in entire south india, yes you can get it in northern side of India but cream role and elaichi tea are outstanding + their service is very good.
Good place for tea lovers. Loved the tea that we ordered. Best part is it comes without sugar so that you can add sugar as per your liking. Ample space to sit and chill with friends. Service is good too. Located in an easy to find and popular location on 12th main. Love the vibe too. Will come back for tea here if I am in the area.
Crowded place and the chair are too close by which lacks privacy. The menu is limited and the service is quick. The place is for chai lovers but if you want to have a conversation over a chai I would certainly not recommended this place.
Went to Tata cha on 16t nov 20 for take away ginger chai. There were not much of people and there was no sanitiser to enter the shop.I ordered in a take away flask of 250 ml and it ciat me Rs 90. It was premix in a vending machine and I got it in 2 minutes . It was first filled in heat pack ( looks like plastic) with a nozzle and the packed in card board box . HE also gave 2 small cups and packed it in a over and gave .A neat way to carry .the Tea also was excellent
Tata cha is again one of my favourite places that I hop around when I want to catch up my friends at Indra Nagar. The place is centerally located at the 12th main, Indra Nagar and is known for their wide variety of food options. The place is open till late and is popular among people. The cafe has tried some nice experiments with its interiors and furniture and the first that the guest notices is the cozy interiors and furniture. No doubt people are not able to resist clicking a few pics once they are at Tata Cha. :)Ideal for families, youngsters and couples. Basically everyone. And yup specially if youwant to have some nice pictures with subtle background and interiors. :)Click while you Sip your tea and again click a few more pics. :))(Posting a live narrative of what I am seeing right now)Try the place yourself to figure it out. :)
Well the tea was not at all upto the mark. Ambience is good, you can go and chill there. I have not tried other things over here apart from tea and banana cake, after which I was very disappointed.
Spacious and one can settle here for a good time with best Chai and snacks. Tried the paratha and it was delicious.
Nice and good..tasty tasty!! real experience of chay word
People careful before you go here at the moment, i feel they are using old stock after lockdown, i visited this place with a friend yesterday, ordered some snacks and tea ( even the tea was bad and watery ), the taste had a change than before, but with hunger we both finished the food, both me and my friend had a terrible stomach the same day and still recovering from it. ( service is good, no complains )
Amazing place to have a chat with friends specially it has outside sitting
Charging Jagger as add-on was an offset for me, this was my 2nd time at this outlet but realised it this time only, jaggery is just a replacement of sugar so shouldnt be charged 15 Rs extra!Samosa and cream roll are highly overpriced and not something extra ordinary that you must try.Kachori and aloo sabji was good.
Very peaceful place amidst the crowded 12th main of Bangalore’s one of the elite area. Good music, cozy place to sit , good ambience and friendly staff. You can sit here for hours if you need some me time with nice chai. Their main focus is to make a comfortable place for all their customers. Food menu is not that great but whatever snacks they serve is good. I usually go there when I am completely tensed and I want some peace of mind. There is a nice swing outside and one can sit and chit chat with friends there.
Amazing as always. I can chill out for hours here
Great place to shake off weekly stress .. :)
Just tea, no coffee. Just snacks, no meals. This is more of a hangout place than an eatery. People come here to chill, talk, gather, hang out, and it is designed exactly like that. The aesthetics are top-class, and the seating facilities spacious and comfortable. The service staff are very kind, and it is self-service. Try the Meetha Paan milkshake, thank me later. My go-to hangout place in Indiranagar.
I am big fan of Tata Group and I would say that it is one of the best startup TATA has come up with. TATA cha is one of the finest place to visit for quick bites and tea. They offer you best in class. The aroma and feel of it is also fantastic. They have number of options available in tea and snacks. One can find the options of both north and south indian food cuisine. I ordered one cholle khulche with tea and the taste was fantastic. Hygenic place. Fabulous service. Absolutely loved it. Please give it a try and you will not forget it. 5 stars from me..
We were pretty hungry after our workout session and were looking for light snacks along with our cup of morning tea!We head over to here and ordered 1 masala tea,1 ginger tea! We didnt find any breakfast or light snacks in the menu! They have very limited menu and all the items that they have on the menu doesnt fit for breakfast! We were so hungry that we ordered pav with egg bhurji! First of all the teas are machine made and its pathetic! They charge around 65 rs for medium size tea and its so bad that I had to leave it after having two sips of it!The staffs are also unapologetic and hardly bothered about the feedback! I am not sure which group of customers they are looking to target from their wierd menu! Also who would like to grab machine made teas at such high price! Very bad experience!
Good place to hangout, however, the tea is realllllly expensive (the money is for the place i guess )
Nice ambience , friendly staff. Price is on the higher side
Tata Cha Café - Monsoon Menu TastingTATA Cha has come up with the perfect set of dishes this monsoon season for every food lover. A dish of spice, tangy, salt, bitter and sweet is what one would crave to stay warm. After much research, TATA Cha Café has introduced 3 new dishes.Litti Chokha, Keema Pav and Chickpea Sundal SaladThese can be taken along with the specially made Masala Chai or Cold brew tea infused with fruit.Visited the TATA Cha Café outlet at Indiranagar and tried the dishes mentioned above. I specially love the Litti Chokki served with tomato sauce (similar to salasa sauce) & potato curry. The Chickpea Sundal reminded me the Sundal I would take at beaches, specially in Chennai.Glad to see TATA Cha Café introducing new dishes for guests to enjoy. Looking forward to many more dishes in future.#ChaChaInTheRain #ChaiandMore #MonsoonatCha #HappyMonsoon #MonsoonSnacks #fodyssey #blogger #influencer #bangaloreblogger #lifestyleblogger #travelblogger #tatacha #tatachacafé
Well designed, colorful..good use of limited space
Food is good , good place for meeting but expensive
Nice place with relaxed ambience. Good place to hangout with friends. All the items in the menu are little too pricey for what they serve. Quantity is less. Its self service restaurant. They have stuff for sale which includes tea, mugs, badge, small notepad etc. The masala sikhanji was good, and this place good crowd as well.
Nice place, good tea and good wifi. Very friendly staff. The peach ice tea is nice. The food isnt so great coz its mostly heated frozen food.
Ambience is good but AC is not working
A lovely cafe that boasts of the perfect ambience and soothing cups of chai, no wonder this place is overcrowded on weekends. And that is probably a tad bit annoying as its hard to find a secluded spot and catch up with friends without overhearing the gossip from the next table. We had an elaichi chai, a masala chai and dabeli. The chai is priced for about 70/- and dabeli at 90/- (a piece). The pav was great and so was the green chutney. Chai was equally refreshing too.Meal for two would cost between 300-500/-Rating -3/5
The tea is awesome here. If you are a tea lover please do visit. The food is average and the ambience is good too. Though the service can be a bit happily done.
Not sure what happened to this place. Though the tea and food is good. Hygiene is real bad. Place wasnt clean. There was food lying on sofa, floor and tables. You can see tray filled with used plates, mugs etc kept on the counter where customers can sit. Really bad experience for a cafe in an up market street. I may as well go to a street vendor!
My work place nice to spend my good times..most of my day am goona spend here in the peaceful place TaTA Cha love my work love my colleagues love my customers..yeah at present enjoining my life..
Its pretty expensive, but its worth a try for once. The ambience is modern and comfy. Its self service and people are filled in this cafe all the time.
Its a pretty nice place and it has got that work ambience where you can meet your clients while you can have an amazing cup of tea and also refresh yourself.
Went to Tata Cha for the first time after the pandemic hit. Theyre sanitizing the tables after every visit and also marked some tables to not be used, in order to maintain social distance. Thats a nice thing. The staff was kind and helpful too.
Good Food, Great Tea and an excellent experience overall. 😊
Fabulous decor for a Chai cafe really. Loved the art prints and the ambience of the cha bar. Very fresh and inviting. The place is well designed keeping in mind the outdoor and the indoor areas. there are actual swings for seats in the open air seating which is quite charming. The Chai is Def good. I tried the doodh waali Chai with ginger and loved it. Food was a pleasant surprise. The makki roti with saag and the keema bhurji was yummy. Will go there often now.
Let me first tell you the story how chai or tea become so synonymous with India ,the British in India were using Coffee only for the delegation and the rich class as it was made out of milk ,tea was served to the worker class and others as it was majorly brewed with water back then .India and Chai since then have a great love story !One such place dedicated to Tea and Tea lovers to spend a leisurely time is Tata Cha at Indiranagar !Until I visited them I didnt know that this place was run by the Tata Group and was a brand in their hospitality line ! Tata Cha is located on the 12th Main of the 100 ft road of Indiranagar ,if you guys are going to Indiranagar from Koramangla, then just take a right on the 12th main to find this cafe !Very well let signage from out with swings and seating also present ,this outdoor seating is an added bonus for Benagalureans in the summer ! The indoors are no less ,very well lit and also comfortable seating ,at a go this cafe can house upto 50-60 people! I wish the air-conditioning indoors wasnt that low ,I mean I would like it a bit warmer indoors ,even with my jacket on I was feeling cold !The place as and when we enter, we can see the preparation bay where everything is brewed on order !Coming to the food department tried their new Holi Menu !Holi may be not my thing but new menus are ! Tried some Thandai ,again very cold ,with the surrounding being cold I couldnt taste it properly!Next tried the Kachoris and Aloo Subji ,man this was delightful ,the Kachoris were perfectly seasoned and Aloo Subji was one of the best I have tasted ,they said that the filling for Kachori and Samosa come from their central kitchen in the north !Thandai Firni on the other hand was really good ,I liked it ,I would suggest you guys to try the Kachoris and Firni ,a good combination!Tried the veg cutlets ,the chutney with which it was served was superb ,I say the mint chutney with which the snack is served is equally important ,veg cutlets were 2 in nos.like most other snacks here tasted pretty well !Also tried the aloo bun or Dabeli ,I must say ,its one of the best Dabeli I have tasted in Bengaluru , perfectly done with aloo, corn and pomogranate seeds on top ,the chutney again was a great accompaniment ,good stuff !I was still hungry and went for a serving of vada pav ,good stuff but ,it was filling !This cafe especially is a place where you go buy a tea sit and enjoy with lighter snacks rather than some heavy food ,the masala shikanji was really good to see but tasted just okish!Taste-4/5Quantity-3.5/5Quality-4/5Price-4/5Ambience-4.5/5Whether I would visit them again ? - Definitely a yes ,service is good and their snacks tastes pretty well !
A new initiative by tata group .by the time I reach there all hot tea item was out of stock due to heavy rush on launch day..I tried cold coffe ,it was good .will try Kadak chai and review it soon
Good place for official work & meetings.
Nice place to have tea and snacks. Nice ambience.
Tata Cha - Heard this name and its remind me TATA CHAI !!! :)Located at 12th Main Rd, HAL 2nd Stage, Indiranagar, Bangalore.Tata Global Beverages, the world’s second largest tea company, out of home beverage space with its first tea cafe i.e. Tata Cha in Bangalore.Ambience :The interior decor was mix of warm soft wood, bright colours, colourful and patterned fabrics to create a charming and relaxing ambience. Its a that kind of place where you took off your shoes be relax and feel like you are sitting at home and having Tea and Snacks.Or I must say TAPRI CHAI in a warm and relaxing Environment. They are serving authentic Indian Tea and Snacks which real and natural taste. One for the best place in Indrinagar for Chai par Charcha. ;) ;)We are here, for the new HOLI MENU because this time is festival of HOLI.We started with Tea and Snacks :Thandai - A cooler Drink for the summer whether.Kachori and UP wali Aloo ki Sabji - We known as stuffed khasta served with Aloo Gravy.Phirni - Coming dessert from the Punjabi Taste.Kinji - MUST TRY, Amazing drink with natural and real taste.Others items also Available like :DabeliSamosaVada Pavand many more...Some various type of Tea well.Service and Staff :This place to be a perfect place for chatting, gossiping and cracking jokes with buddies. The staff is very humble and well mannered.A nice place for tea and snacks at reasonable price.Service also was pretty good.
Always lovely to drink tea here... The sheer variety of people that come here makes it an interesting visit... Although, since it is super popular... Might get difficult to hang on to your seat... And too many cafe bums, but the tea is great.
One of the best open air places at Indiranagar to chill out with tea and snacks. Although in the middle of a crowded road, the place would still give you a serene feeling. Slightly over priced compared to other franchises but quality is good.
So let me talk straight. This place is very expensive. 80 rupees for a tea is way too expensive and the taste is not at all good, definitely not worth the money. We ordered quick bites which was tasteless. I dont know whats all the hype about this place.Ambience is okay, music is bit loud and if you want to spend some quality time with your friends, its not the right place. No peace! Not a happy costumer!!!I regret spending my money here!
Really good options for tea. Tried the Gulkhand and Gur tea. Was pretty good
They play good music.I would go there again.
Menu is very limited. Nice place to hangout. Definitely try Delhi Wali Kanji.
Nice place to hangout with friends

An overpriced tea house which is not value for money. A small cup of tea is 100 bucks and the snacks are equally overpriced. The hot chocolate is decent but still not worth the money. The ambiance is good and the staff is courteous and there is always a rush at this place for reasons I am not able to comprehend. It is not worth the visit.
Great place to chill hangout and just relax. The quantity vs price is a bit of an imbalance. You dont get what you pay for, but the kappi is good. Food choices arent the best as there are tastier options available in a 0.5 mile radius.
The place has a nice ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating options. The tea and food have a decently good quality though it can be better. The staff and cleanliness is nice too. Very good place to have a short meeting, hangout with friends or even read a book!
Obviously Better than CCD ,amazing ambiance ,nice music you feel like you are enjoying in your home place.Pocket friendly ..So many things to explore..For Fun..Cards UNO,Books..Novels..N so more..
Nice place if you are tea lover and want to have different types/flavors of tea.It offers wifi with decent speed for guest to work and enjoy each sip.
People smoking here in spite of the “no smoking” poster. When I complained, they said the customers aren’t obliging.
The most preferred waiting and meeting place at Indiranagar, these days.
Its a nice place to hangout with friends.Serves varieties of chai. Kadak and masala chai is good. Offers snacks like cream rolls etc..
Very nice hangout joint for those who love to chat over endless cups of tea . There are other yummies also to much on. Open air area has nice swings. Allows pets in the open area.
Good place for networking. But very poor communication by staff and for 3 hours, there was no AC running. It was very difficult for the customers to sit inside for longer period.
Tata rocks in all there enterprise... Tata Cha always awesome...
This is your starbucks for tea lovers, placed well in one of the most popular streets of Indiranagar. I like how they have kadak chai (strong tea, with less milk) and doodh wali kadak chai (strong tea with good quantity of milk) in ginger and masala flavors. They have some interesting tea time snacks (at the counter, off the menu) on all days. Ambience is colorful, and nicely done. Also this is a Cafe, but this is NOT a place where you can read your books. So please avoid planning that here 😅One star less simply coz its too crowded (also read as popular)
The place is quiet crowded and has little indoor seating option (when compared to the crowd that visits it). I opted for our chai and did not enjoy drinking it.
One should try peach iced tea here. Great ambience.
Nice cozy place, love the embience , little expensive but d size n taste of the tea is worth it.do try the maakafies bun.
Good place to sit and spend time with friends.. ambience is really good.. limited options in snacks... Tea is ok... Not sooo great... I ordered gulkand chai.. which tasted good but the cup had 50% of rose leaves only... They should have filtered it off and let only flavour b there. .
