Worst experience. Ordered paneer chili. See image what they served. 2 pics of capsicum with rubber type of paneer... and gravy of tomato sauce....I think they should change the name again back to pappu tea wala...and do in what they good at.My jaws started paining...this rubber type of paneer ...so ... I have to letf the it unfinished.... and can not took more then 3 piece.

The place is good , good food and decent ambience . Situated right opposite to Bangalore central JP Nagar. But the service is a bit slow , min 15-20 mins of waiting time for food to be served. Other than the slow service, the taste of the food is good.

Had Peri peri Maggie with cheese.. it was Delicious .. worth the visit... Happy tummy..

Pappu chaiwalla the retro themed restaurant located right beside Bengaluru central jayanagar, walls painted with out colours and some interesting art, the menu card is a classic exam pad clipped with brownish paper listing out the dishes available on it, the classic char pi and iron folding chair will offer you a comfortable seat to enjoy your food. I had chola Bhature and masala papad here, bhature was really good but chole colour is very unnatural and Im pretty sure they are using their own masala not chole masala. Taste was very awful.Masala papad ... Full of salt.Not worthy to have here.

If u want to pay someone to provide you the worst possible food, then must go there. We have ordered Sulemani chai=35/-, Pappu ki chai=40/- French fries=120/-, Sulemani was the worst version of lemon tea, Pappu ki chai was not bad, but.. ,but... dont expect anything special, it is just the regular tea and lastly only after going to this place I learnt how to hate French fries. I had no idea before French fries also can be bad, and so bad that we couldnt even finish one single plate.

One of the best restaurants Ive visited in terms of hospitality and taste and of course the varieties of food available. Must visit restaurant around Central Mall, Jaya Nagar location.

Such a terrible place. Brought some puri today for my kids and found black small cockroaches on puri. These kind people who dont care for their customers health in this pandemic also, such a shame that I went to such place and such places still exist in the name of money making without bothering or following any health rules.

First look of the place was pretty awesome but then when we went to take a seat, we realized the it was quite dusty with dropped food particles.No one came to take our order for a long time and after they did, they brought us the bill first without realizing that they never delivered our order in the first place. Extremely bad experience.Visited this place witha friend last week.We used to love the Spicy Cheese maggi and chai as this used to be our usual hangout place.But this place has changed a lot.The maggi was tasteless,watery.The chai had lot of sugar and is heavily overpriced.The size of the chai served is definitely not 35 rupees. Its ridiculous. Shady ambience.Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

The food experience is OK. Not all that great. Me along with my friends had been to that place at around 6 in the evening. However, I had forgot a box of glasses there that I had bought as a gift. As I realised, I again travelled to that place to pick it up. However the manager said they did not find any box even before checking with his resources. Upon insisting to check with them he checked and came back in two minutes saying they did not find anything. There was CCTV camera. I asked him to check on that. But he refused saying that are a lot of customers. Well there were not many customers, only three tables were occupied. Well I agree its my mistake, but he could have easily checked with his resources and sorted it out. he did take my number saying he will call back if he finds it. I left from there disappointed.

Decor is qwirky...Main course surprisingly quite good... chicken portions can be better... washroom has to be better managed...tea is really good...

An amazing tea joint in middle of the most happening area in Jayanagar 9 the block. The interiors are made to look like a typical village with cycle tyres, milk cans and tea kettles. Tea is good, shakes and lassis are good as well. Considering the way the place presents itself, its not very expensive. Overall a good place to sit with friends and chat for hours.

Not too many options for Vegetarians. We tried their Rajama and it tasted good. Service wasnt that bad and pricing looked a tad higher for the ambiance. Overall a good joint to try out if you looking for some open space for a Chai and Sutta!
